Predetermined life span, Impermanence guides the way.

"Wuthering Atkins, your hour has co."

As Violet Allen finished speaking, she saw a soul body erge from the fallen employee’s body.

The surrounding staff were startled by yet another unexpected event.

Quickly, people gathered around where the employee had fallen.

Crying for help and the sound of ambulances resonated throughout, but Violet and the employee’s soul watched the scene unfold from the side.

New souls usually struggle to accept the fact of their death.

The man called Wuthering Atkins couldn’t believe it,

"I’ve died? Impossible, I just had a company physical last month, I’m clearly in good health!"

Shouting his disbelief, he tried to return to his body.

Sebastian Carew watched from afar, and stood frozen in place, feeling as though his feet were unbearably heavy, preventing him from approaching.

Violet didn’t look at Sebastian anymore, nor did she stop the man’s actions.

She’s seen too many ghosts who died suddenly and unwillingly. In such cases, a Ghost ssenger could simply bind the soul and take it away, but Violet prefers to give them a chance to struggle.

She considers it a process of acceptance for the new soul to avoid dragging unwillingness and resentnt into reincarnation.

She thought this was a similar situation.

Once a soul realizes they can’t return to their body, they will accept the fact that they are deceased.

However, in front of her, as Wuthering Atkins returned to his body, he wasn’t simply thrown out like other new souls; instead, he was pulled back for a mont, only to be thrown out again due to so force.

The mont was brief, brief enough to be overlooked.

But Violet noticed sothing was amiss imdiately.

"Co here."

She called to Wuthering Atkins’s soul, but he thought she intended to take his soul to the Underworld, so he clung to his body, wailing,

"No! I won’t go! I don’t want to go with you, wuuu..."

Impatient, Violet ordered,

"Get over here quickly!"

As she spoke, the mourning stick in her hand transford into a paper rope, binding Wuthering Atkins’s soul and dragging him to her.

Seeing this, Sebastian couldn’t stand still any longer. He hurried over in a few quick steps, attempting to plea.

"Shut up."

Violet directly reprimanded him, her expression unprecedentedly serious.

Then, she flipped the handle of the mourning stick before suddenly stabbing it towards Wuthering Atkins’s forehead.

A red Dharma Seal appeared on Wuthering Atkins’s forehead, causing him to cry out in fright.

Sebastian remained frozen, not knowing what he could do.

But Violet, observing the red seal slowly dissipating from Wuthering Atkins’s forehead, suddenly laughed.

How to describe the laugh?

With her attire, it was sowhat eerie.

"Hehe... it’s been so long since I encountered a deception ssing with my KPIs..."

Violet’s laughter carried a slight chill.

Though Sebastian was confused, he couldn’t help quietly asking upon hearing her ntion of deception,

"So, was it a mistake?"

anwhile, the surrounding staff remained in chaos, so no one noticed the abnormalities occurring on Sebastian’s side.

Violet observed his concerned expression and finally spoke,

"No mistake, but soone deliberately made a scapegoat out of him."

The information from the Underworld wasn’t wrong, but Wuthering Atkins’s soul was evidently manipulated.

Since the ghost fog was jointly destroyed by the Security Bureau and Mystic Regulation Office, so scattered Evil Masters haven’t dared to show themselves.

Now, seeing the Security Bureau not strictly tracking this matter, they’ve started their mischief again.

Upon hearing Violet’s words, Sebastian and the man nad Wuthering Atkins were both stunned. Sebastian was particularly thrilled,

"So you an, he shouldn’t have died! Soone made him a scapegoat?"

Wuthering Atkins also felt delighted. Does this an he doesn’t have to die?

But Violet wasn’t so optimistic.

Although she knew soone had used Evil Technique to make him a scapegoat, the altered files and soul information were comprehensive.

It’s procedurally correct.

So Ghost ssengers prefer to avoid trouble and even if they suspect sothing wrong, they’re unwilling to confront mortal realm Evil Masters.

But as Life Impermanence, Violet is also a Master. Since she discovered the anomaly, she couldn’t just do nothing.

Thinking of this, Violet imdiately untied the paper rope binding Wuthering Atkins’s soul, switched to placing a Spirit Talisman on his forehead, and quickly perford a mantra with both hands.

"I’ll try sending you back now. Keep thinking about returning, even if your body resists, persist."

"Okay!"

Seeing that Sebastian clearly knew this Impermanence, Wuthering Atkins inexplicably trusted Violet. Knowing there was a chance to return, he didn’t hesitate at all.

Violet started chanting the spell rapidly. With a soft shout, the Spirit Talisman emitted spiritual light, instantly forcing Wuthering Atkins’s soul back into his body.

As his soul was sent back, the Spirit Talisman also seed to stick on the body.

The surrounding staff thought he was about to wake up as his body bounced, not knowing it was the body’s reaction to forcibly fusing with the soul.

Sebastian watched Violet’s fingers tremble as she perford the mantra, her entire being seed to struggle against sothing.

anwhile, after Wuthering Atkins’s soul was returned to his body, it failed to completely integrate. Every ti it tried, a force attempted to expel him, but the Spirit Talisman on his forehead pressed him back again.

Three tis went by, and Wuthering Atkins’s soul fiercely struggled.

Even Sebastian realized the difficulty behind this matter.

Just as he pondered seeking external help, having just pulled out his phone, the Spirit Talisman on Wuthering Atkins’s forehead suddenly burst into flas.

Wuthering Atkins’s fiercely fused soul body was violently expelled, while Violet’s soul was fiercely knocked away.

"Violet!"

"I’m fine!"

Violet’s soul was knocked to the second floor height then quickly floated back, glaring at Wuthering Atkins’s pitiful soul on the ground; she was truly angry now.

Quickly flicking her hand, the mourning stick in her hand instantly grew twice as big.

She held the mourning stick, her face fuming,

"A duel, huh? You’ve ssed with , you’ve ssed with Lord Yama!"

Leaving a word to Wuthering Atkins,

"Guard your body fiercely and don’t leave! Don’t go with anyone!"

With that, her soul quickly darted in a certain direction, disappearing from the stage in a blink.

Sebastian vaguely guessed what she was about to do, glanced at the lying soul of Wuthering Atkins and then at her disappearance direction, then decisively turned and chased after the direction she vanished.

Simultaneously, Violet followed the trail of magical power, while openning the Spirit Affairs Ghost Chaser app, directly calling for back-up,

"Boss! Soone is bullying !!"
