After leaving the Nan Family, Nan Yu saw ng Yi squatting under a streetlight at the entrance to her ho.
"ng Yi, what are you doing here?"
Upon hearing the voice, ng Yi imdiately lifted her head, and her eyes burst with joy when she saw Nan Yu.
She abruptly stood up, approached Nan Yu closely, "Nan Yu, you’re finally back, I’ve been waiting for you all night!"
Nan Yu took a half step back as ng Yi suddenly closed in, and she narrowed her eyes slightly.
"Why were you waiting for ?"
ng Yi, holding a small bag, tried to lessen the distance between her and Nan Yu.
"Last ti you saved , right? I ca specifically to thank you."
Nan Yu slowly walked into the villa and sat down on the sofa in the hall, carelessly picking up an apple from the table and began peeling it.
She said with a cold expression: "You don’t need to co and thank specially, what we did was just a transaction."
ng Yi, following behind her, nervously twisted the bag in her hands and cautiously said, "Nan Yu, I know I was in the wrong before, I did a lot of things for which I owe you an apology."
"But now, I truly regret it and want to apologize to you."
She quickly opened the bag and rummaged through it, soon pulling out a bank card.
ng Yi extended both hands towards Nan Yu, her eyes filled with clear expectation.
"Nan Yu, I am truly sorry about before. There is ten million in this card, it’s to compensate you, and to thank you!"
After biting into the apple, Nan Yu paused for two seconds upon seeing the bank card, then her brows knitted together.
"ng Yi, are you and Nan Qingqing teaming up again, planning to use this one and a half million to accuse of blackmail and extortion?"
ng Yi used to help Nan Qingqing do despicable things, now she cos to her saying she wants to thank her with ten million – it just doesn’t seem possible!
When ng Yi heard this, her fingers curled slightly, and her face showed a trace of embarrassnt.
She licked her dry lips and hurriedly explained: "No, you’ve misunderstood! Nan Yu, this ti I really want to thank you sincerely, it’s not any plot with Nan Qingqing against you!"
Nan Yu saw her earnest words and felt she didn’t seem to be lying.

Nan Yu finished the last bite of her apple and slowly stood up, "In the future, stay away from Nan Qingqing and try to be a better person."
With a light sentence, she directly rejected ng Yi’s ten million.
ng Yi watched Nan Yu’s retreating figure as she turned to go upstairs, still wanting to call out to her.
Unexpectedly, Qi Ming stood in front of her, blocking her way.
"Miss ng, our Young Madam has been very busy lately, she only just returned after being out since yesterday and needs to rest properly."
"If you have any matters, please visit another day."
ng Yi, upon hearing this obvious hint to leave, clutched the bank card in her hand, extending it towards Housekeeper Qi.
