Nan Yu opened the car window and looked up at the man outside, his features sharp, sporting a scruffy beard, and a vicious scar slanted from the right corner of his mouth down to his neck.

It was a face she didn’t recognize.

"Who is your lady?"

With a smile, Ren Xingzhou said, "Our lady is Mrs. Nan of the Nan Group, Duan Zhu."

Nan Yu’s expression froze instantly, her eyes narrowed distrustfully as she looked at him.

"What does Mrs. Nan want with so late at night?"

She still rembered her older brother telling her that their mother only trusted Nan Qingqing and didn’t believe a word they said. Now, being sought out in the dead of night, this matter couldn’t be simple.

Ren Xingzhou leaned at the window, staring straight at her.

"Miss Nan, I am rely following the lady’s orders. You can co with , and once you see her, you can ask her directly."

Nan Yu defensively said, "You claim you are from the Nan Group, but do you have any proof?"

"Proof?"

Ren Xingzhou chuckled softly, as if he had heard a joke.

Nan Yu just watched him, the suspicion in her eyes growing deeper. She slowly shifted backward, preparing to escape.

Suddenly, she saw Ren Xingzhou’s hand move!

A flash of black entered her vision.

It happened in a split second!

Nan Yu quickly, like a slippery snake, moved to the passenger seat to escape.

But Ren Xingzhou was quick too; he opened the car door and vaulted inside.

With another swift movent, he pulled Nan Yu down to the passenger seat, blocking her from getting out of the car.

The next second, a cold black weapon was pressed against Nan Yu’s temple.

"Miss Nan, is this proof enough?"

Nan Yu looked at him askance, could see the gun pressed tightly against her temple, and could clearly see the smile on his face.

If she moved even slightly now, he wouldn’t hesitate to shoot.

"What exactly do you want to do?"

Ren Xingzhou, with his left hand, took out a rope from behind his waist and expertly tied her hands together.

Then he tied her whole body to the passenger seat.

Nan Yu looked at the knot; it was a special military knot. The more the captive struggled, the tighter it beca.

Untying this type of knot was extrely difficult!

The look in Nan Yu’s eyes beca even more wary and vigilant as she looked at him.

Ren Xingzhou, however, seed unconcerned, sitting steadily in the driver’s seat, pulling out a cigarette, putting it between his lips, and taking a slow drag.

Then he started the car, inhaling the cigarette with his left hand while his right hand single-handedly controlled the steering wheel, exuding a relaxed air.

Catching a glimpse of Nan Yu, who wasn’t thrashing about, he grinned and said, "You are the first person I’ve seen who doesn’t thrash around after being tied up."

Nan Yu observed that he appeared to be in his forties, seemingly mild-mannered but harboring a ferocity in his eyes, not soone to be trifled with.

She withdrew her gaze and looked ahead at the road.

"You are also the first person I’ve t who reacts faster than ."

Seeing her calmly discuss what had just happened, a trace of surprise flashed in Ren Xingzhou’s eyes.

"Your skills are also not bad; if it weren’t for you being confined in the car, I might not have been able to stop you."

Nan Yu unflinchingly said, "If you give another chance, you definitely won’t catch ."

Ren Xingzhou took a couple of drags from his cigarette, exhaled rings of smoke, and chuckled, "Maybe."

Nan Yu said, "Not maybe, definitely."

Ren Xingzhou glanced at Nan Yu, his curiosity piqued, "Aren’t you afraid? Aren’t you curious about where I am taking you?"

Nan Yu turned to look at him, her eyes landing on the gun at his waist, "You’re not going to kill , so why should I be afraid?"

"Plus, didn’t you say you were taking to see Mrs. Nan? It’s about ti I t her."
