Chapter 157: Fake Amulet
The amulet: “The Heavenly Dao will determine Master’s fate.”
These ambiguous words made Xiao Ying shiver. This amulet might serve as the Heavenly Dao’s eyes to surveillance them.

That night, Xiao Ying saw a ball of light in her sleep, emanating a familiar and warm glow.

Xiao Ying wanted to say sothing but realized that she had woken up.
She suddenly sat up and felt a little cold. Only then did she realize that the window was not closed. She got out of bed and went to the window.
It was midnight, and the streets were silent. Xiao Ying looked out of the window and saw a black shadow under a street lamp.
The black shadow also looked in her direction.

Xiao Ying bit her lip, wondering how long he had been standing on the street.

The next second, Xiao Ying suddenly pulled the curtains shut and blocked Cheng Yang’s view.

“Master, what are you thinking about?” A chanical voice suddenly sounded.
Xiao Ying hesitated as she thought to herself, “Nothing.”
The chanical voice sounded again. “Master, why aren’t you answering ?”

The amulet said again, “Master, there isn’t enough energy. Please replenish it as soon as possible.”

Xiao Ying said, “Then what must I pay?”

The amulet said coldly, “This is Cheng Yang’s fate.”
Xiao Ying was even more certain that it was not the real amulet. It was impossible for the amulet to have such obvious emotions.

The amulet agreed confidently.
Xiao Ying pretended to comply. She had already started planning how to deal with this unknown thing.
The next day, Xiao Ying arrived at the University of dicine.
Qiao Na was already waiting at the school’s entrance. Under Xiao Ying’s request, she did not have a whole parade to welco her like last ti.
The mont Xiao Ying appeared, Qiao Na stepped forward and gave her a big bear hug. She said in surprise, “I was just asking. I didn’t expect you to really co.”
Xiao Ying smiled and said, “Then do you want to co or not?”
“Of course I wish you could stay here forever.” Qiao Na patted her chest and said, “At my place, you can do whatever you want. I’ll protect you.”
Xiao Ying’s eyes flashed as she said, “I really do need your help with sothing.”
This was the first ti Qiao Na had seen her so serious, and her expression beca more serious. “With what?”
Xiao Ying smiled and said, “I need a laboratory and a few people to help study sothing.”
