Chapter 156: Punishnt
Xiao Ying was shocked and said, “No, why would you ask that?”
The amulet’s voice was a little strange. “Master, the Heavenly Dao has sensed it and has already punished the destined energy source.”
“What punishnt?” Xiao Ying asked anxiously.
The amulet: “Car accident.”
Xiao Ying was shocked and quickly got up to look for Cheng Yang.
She paused again and asked, “Where did the car accident happen?”

Xiao Ying pondered as she hurried over. How did the amulet know so much?

After Xiao Ying got out of the car, she quickly scanned the crowd.
The amulet only told her that a car accident would happen there, but it did not know the exact ti and place.
Xiao Ying took out her phone and called Cheng Yang, but his phone was switched off.
The amulet said, “Master, you can’t stop the punishnt of the Heavenly Dao.”
Xiao Ying ignored its words and continued to stubbornly scan the surroundings.
The more ti passed, the more anxious Xiao Ying beca. She did not stay there to wait. Instead, she quickly moved through the streets and stopped at various junctions.
Passing by a street, Xiao Ying squatted down, panting.
She looked up and saw Cheng Yang limping opposite her.
His left leg was covered in blood, and there was a wound on his face.
Tears welled up in her eyes as she suddenly pounced in front of him. However, she did not dare to touch him. “Are you okay?”
Cheng Yang’s lips twitched and he fainted.
Xiao Ying quickly caught him and hailed a car to drive him to the hospital.
After the doctor confird that Cheng Yang was fine and that he only had a fracture, Xiao Ying heaved a sigh of relief after resting for a while.
She sat on the stool beside the bed and realized that her hands were trembling.
The mont Cheng Yang fainted, Xiao Ying really panicked. She couldn’t imagine a world without him.
She reached out to touch his face, her eyes filled with sadness and helplessness.
The amulet reminded her, “Master, it’s ti to go.”
Xiao Ying cald herself down and nodded calmly before leaving the ward.
After she left, Cheng Yang opened his eyes and looked at the door thoughtfully.
He was not unconscious. When he had t Xiao Ying on Fuhua Street, he had seen her panic and the look in her eyes. It was because of this that he had beco even more puzzled. Why did she want to break up?
She clearly cared about him.
And… why did she know he had been in a car accident?
These questions appeared in his mind one by one.
After Xiao Ying left, she acted very cold and asked, “Amulet, as long as I don’t get close to Cheng Yang, nothing will happen to him, right?”
The amulet said, “Yes, Master.”
Xiao Ying asked again, “Then you don’t need energy anymore?”
The amulet paused visibly. “Master can absorb it from the other destined energy source.”
Xiao Ying: “I don’t want to get close to Zhou Yao. Forget it.”
There was a hint of panic in the amulet’s voice. “As long as you don’t have any feelings for him, you can get close to him.”
Xiao Ying: “As long as I act like I don’t like Cheng Yang, it’ll be fine then?”
The amulet: “Yes.”
Xiao Ying’s heart stirred as she understood the amulet’s intentions. She suddenly said, “Amulet, you have been by my side ever since I was nine years old. Thank you.”
The amulet: “You’re welco, Master.”
This answer made Xiao Ying’s expression turn cold. She had activated the amulet when she was ten years old.
This was not the amulet at all.
Then what was it?
What was it trying to do?
“Master, what are you thinking?” the amulet suddenly asked.
Xiao Ying quickly wiped away the ssy thoughts in her heart and said, “Nothing. I wonder how Brother is doing?”
The amulet advised, “Master, it’s best if you forget the destined energy source. His fate is already set in stone. It can’t be changed.”
Xiao Ying asked with an unknown expression, “Then what about my fate?”
