"You all would be wondering why you were brought here. Well there is a simple answer to that. It's to see if you are worthy of nurturing or not," an old man spoke as he looked at the 7 of us 'survivors'.

The others who were afraid before, were now flabbergasted to hear such things were possible. So even had their eyes glistening as they listened to the old man.

"We will be now assessing your abilities so please follow the two girls into the testing area. Also, even if you fail to show any abilities, we will still provide you with a place to live with us since your abilities could be sothing that cannot be completely assessed by normal ans," he added, making others nod.

And with that done, we walked into the testing area. It was a simple white area with a lot of testing materials of all forms and kinds.

One by one all the people there began testing their strength, agility and other stuff. So of them ran at least twice the speed of a normal person, while one showed super strength, lifting 50 kg with one hand with ease.

As for the girl, because I helped her a bit again, she was able to show super speed, running as fast as an athlete and super strength, lifting 25 kg with one hand with a bit of an effort. And other than , everyone had pretty much gone through all the tests.

"Aren't you going to do the tests?" Victoria asked.

"Well. I wasn't exposed much so I doubt you are going to find anything with ," I spoke as I moved towards the test and adjusted my strength to pick up a 10 kg one. Then I made an 'O' expression as I lifted it up with ease.

It tried again with 20, 50, 100 and finally stopped at 125. This surprised the old man as he smiled before speaking,

"At least there is one."

I then showed increased agility as well, but stopped there.

At first, I was going to super everything, but looking how surprised they were with showing two 'super', I decided to tone it down to base in other areas. Seems like having one ability is good, and two is already rare. Anymore will be an overkill.

"An A-Rank, huh? That's a rare find," the old man was now extrely pleased as he looked at as if I were a gem or sothing.

'Well. Hopefully this will help get closer to the higher ups allowing to gain the information about exactly how things are going on in this world. Both from the human's side as well as the ghoul's side,' I pondered about it before moving back towards the blonde girl, Victoria.

Victoria paused as she hesitated before she looked at the old man. The old man pondered for a bit before allowing it as he didn't find anything wrong with this. And only then when he allowed, Vitoria sighed before taking us towards the lift area of this floor.

Reaching into the lift, we waited for the gates to close. And as soon as it did,

"So, what grade are you both?" I asked with slight curiosity.

"B-Grade with a high strength," Victoria answered first.

"B-Grade with a high dexterity," Char, who tagged along with us for so reason, also answered while she corrected her files.

"Are there people above A-Grades?" I asked again and she nodded as she answered,
