Gavin stood there, huffing heavily, his eyes pinned on the captain to see what he would do next.
"Hahahahaha!" The captain suddenly burst into laughter, laughing from the bottom of his stomach like soone that was going insane. He slowly rose back to his feet, still laughing. The massive wound that he had sustained began healing right before their very eyes, flesh stitching itself back together until the wound was completely gone, and then he let out a breath.
The demonic energy that was flowing through his body had fixed the wound. It was like nothing had been there. The captain slowly lifted his sword, black flas engulfing it as he slashed, releasing a powerful fla arc, ripping through the air.
Both boys leaped out of the way. The fla arc hit the wall behind and left a massive gash in the wall. Gavin rolled on the ground and got back to his feet, imdiately bolting toward the captain again, his eyes still burning with rage as veins bulged from his neck.
His sword was covered in flas; he compressed it until the sword was red hot and searing.
"Arghhhhhhhhhhhh!" He roared as he slashed. The captain blocked the attack. Both swords collided, massive sparks flew, the air shook and trembled.
"I’ll kill you," Gavin bellowed. The captain lifted his feet and kicked Gavin in the guts, throwing him back just at the right mont, as Raze was already mid-motion. The captain tried to turn his attention back to Raze, but Raze hit him with a water cannon right to the face that threw his body back and slamd him against the wall, leaving him open.
"If you want to kill him, go for the head," Raze said to Gavin as he ran toward him. When the captain realized that Raze knew his weakness, he imdiately panicked.
"Arghhhhhhhh! I’ll kill all of you!" he roared and rushed forward violently, attacking with another fla arc, but Raze teleported and appeared behind him.
"I knew you would take the bait," he said, a grin plastered on his face as he swung down full speed, all his weight channeled into the swing, using the Yin Yang technique.
SWOOOOSH
The captain could feel it. It was over. If he didn’t do sothing now, he would die, so he reacted as fast as he could, spun his body, almost ripping his waist, and lifted his hands to block.
The bat slamd into the hands and instantly obliterated the arms into nothing, blasting them off their stumps. Blood splattered in every direction, but the captain was still alive—or so he thought, as Gavin launched forward from behind.
"Fire Stream!" he roared, casting a high-pressure fla magic that slamd into the captain from behind and engulfed him. Then he dashed forward. Using the chain of his body, he made a perfect swing, slashing the head of the captain right off, his burning eyes watching as the head tossed in the air, rolling and then falling to the ground.
It rolled in his direction and stopped just at his feet. The eyes still open and looking right at Gavin, while the body fell to the ground.
Gavin stared at the head, and only then did he finally snap out. His eyes widened when he realized what he had done.
"Huh-hu-hu..." His mouth was shaking as he tried to speak.
Raze saw him shivering and imdiately spoke, "He isn’t a person," he said flatly. "You didn’t kill a human."
Gavin slowly looked up, shock written all over his face. "What? How dare you? Who are you to decide when a person isn’t human or not?" he roared.
Raze looked at him with a raised brow. "You are justifying soone that took the power of demons and used it for selfish reasons, soone that tried to kill us? He isn’t human," Raze said, standing his ground. His smile faded as he spoke.
Gavin lifted his blade and pointed at Raze. "You do whatever you want, treat people how you want, take the life of people and act like it is nothing. You carry yourself like you are a good person, but you are not.
You are just a selfish person that only does things when it’s of their own benefit. You see human life like it’s nothing," Gavin said. "You are a monster in human flesh. I can’t believe I hoped you were genuinely a good person."
Raze looked at the blade in Gavin’s hand; he couldn’t help but smirk. "And all you said is ant to be a bad thing why? That I look out for myself is a bad thing why? Because I want what’s good for you consider bad?
Hahaha, coming from the asshole that can’t even control himself. You have killed more people than I would ever hope to in my life. Yes, I know, because I can see it in you, a rage-filled monster traumatized by his past so much that it split his personality.
You hate yourself so much because you want to be justice; you want to stand for all that is good and selfless, but half of you only wants to kill and rage. Half of you would rather the world burn if it ant killing every demonic beast.
You tried to hide it but I know. You are the standard definition of a hypocrite, and because of that, you try to reflect your hate for yourself on .
I am who I am. I am selfish, because I have my dreams to chase, my people to care for, my ho to build, and my life to live, because for so part of my life I lived no life, and it took sothing grand happening for to realize that I want to live.
So fuck you for trying to paint bad. Haha, after all, at the end of the day, the joke’s on you, and you are the one fighting yourself, fighting your hatred for demonic beasts, and fighting what you truly desire because you want to stand for justice.
I am not justice. I am Raze freaking Grimhold, the fourth son of the Baron and soone that wants to make sure he wakes up the next day." Raze finished speaking, a smile still on his face sohow as he huffed.
Gavin slowly dropped his sword, and then turned to the stairs. "I guess we aren’t ant to be alike or close to each other," he said before walking up the stairs.
