rlin and the three girls turned around. Standing there was a short elf girl with blonde hair and striking light green eyes.

"Monica?" rlin exclaid in surprise, then smiled. "What's going on? Do you need sothing from ?"

Noticing the familiarity in his voice, Luna, Margaret, and Catrine exchanged wary glances.

Monica bit her lower lip and cast a shy glance at the three beautiful girls beside him.

Admittedly, they were all so stunning that she couldn't help but feel a little inferior.

Still, she quickly composed herself and said, "Yes, I need your help. But if you're busy, I understand."

She started to turn and run, but rlin quickly called after her.

"Wait! Just tell what you need. I'll help you."

Monica paused, then turned back toward him, her expression timid.

"Are you sure it's okay?" she asked.

rlin nodded, folding his arms across his chest.

"As long as I can help, why not?"

Monica felt a wave of relief and delight at his words.

"[Ding! Monica Sael'myr's affection increased by 2 points. Current affection: 82 points!]"

"So, a professor asked for help. He said…"

Monica went on to explain what had happened. rlin, Luna, Margaret, and Catrine listened carefully.

The more they thought about it, the stranger it all seed.

"Wait a minute," rlin interrupted her. "Sothing's off. A professor asked you, a new student, to help write a journal about magic? I didn't hear that wrong, did I?"

Monica was just starting at the academy; there was no way she could handle that.

On top of that, the professor's request was completely unreasonable.

rlin sensed sothing was wrong.

Margaret took a deep breath and said coldly, "rlin, I think the professor has ulterior motives. A new student like her shouldn't be asked to do sothing like this."

As a senior, she understood the process of journaling well. Usually, professors would seek help from third-year students, not soone just arriving like Monica.

"I feel the sa way," Luna agreed. "He probably has so hidden motive."

She cast a aningful glance at Monica.

Monica was undeniably attractive—an elf, petite and adorable, with a hint of vulnerability.

From a jerk's perspective, Monica would be an easy target to manipulate or deceive.

"You two are perceptive. I agree," rlin said earnestly. He patted Monica's shoulder. "This request doesn't make sense. There's likely so hidden motive behind it. Can you tell the professor's na?"

Monica nodded. "His na is Rodart, and he's a professor in the Basic Magic Departnt."

"Rodart?" Margaret looked taken aback.

"Do you know him?" rlin asked.

"Not really, but I've heard a little about him. Apparently, he got into the academy thanks to his connections with a senior professor in the Advanced Magic Departnt. I've never liked him. And… his appearance—how should I put it… it's absolutely hideous."

rlin: "…"

Luna: "…"

Catrine: "…"

"Huh…" rlin let out a small sigh. "I see. For now, Monica, you don't have to do what he asked. Just co with to the cafeteria. You haven't eaten yet, right?"

Monica shook her head. "I haven't… but…"

She glanced nervously at Catrine, Luna, and Margaret. "Is that okay?"

rlin was about to speak, but Margaret acted first.

She hooked her arm around Monica's and said enthusiastically, "Of course it's okay! Your na is Monica, right? I'm Margaret—rlin's fiancée."

The introduction left Luna and Catrine stunned.

Luna frowned and snapped, "What's that supposed to an? I'm rlin's fiancée!"

Catrine, not to be outdone, shot back, "No way! It's —Mother said I'd be my brother's wife!"

The three of them glared at each other, and the tension in the room shot up.

Caught in the middle, Monica's face went pale.

'W-what… what's happening!?' she exclaid in panic.

"Ahem! Enough, all of you," rlin interrupted. "You're scaring Monica."

Upon hearing this, the three of them quickly set aside their hostility.

Luna extended her right hand and said coolly, "I'm Luna. Just call Luna. Nice to et you, Monica."

Seeing the hand, Monica quickly took it.

"N-nice to et you," she replied nervously.

Catrine did the sa, and finally, the four of them got along.

"By the way, rlin, how about we go to city? I can reserve a table for us," Margaret suggested confidently.

With her wealth, eating anywhere was never a problem.

rlin, however, shook his head. "No need. Don't waste your money. We'll just go to the cafeteria. I've already asked Aunt Lisa to prepare food for us."

"The cafeteria? You an the shop called Thorn & Vine?" Margaret asked, surprised.

"Yes, that's the one. I promise you'll love it," rlin said with a mysterious smile.

Margaret had always eaten in her private building, so rlin had never had the chance to invite her to the cafeteria.

Now, with the opportunity at hand, he wanted to show her just how good Lisa's cooking was.

"Heh… you talk so confidently. I can't help but get more curious," Margaret said with excitent.

"You spoiled young lady. Even sothing like that makes you happy?" Luna sneered.

"What did you say!?" Margaret pouted angrily, but Luna ignored her and looked away.

Watching the two of them argue, rlin just smiled quietly.

'The future is only going to get more exciting with all of them around,' he whispered.

...

"Hah... Hah... Hah..."

In a closed room, a fat, bespectacled, short man was panting while staring at a photo in his right hand.

He rubbed his lower body with a disgusting, lewd expression.

Upon closer look, the photo in his hand showed a beautiful, adorable elf girl.

"Monica... Monica... I'm cumming!" the man moaned excitedly.

Once he reached his climax, he leaned back lazily in his chair, sweat on his face.

He placed the photo on the table and whispered lewdly, "Just by looking at her picture, I managed to cum twice. That girl is truly a precious treasure."

He picked up Monica's picture again, staring at it obsessively.

"Elf girl… you can't run from . I'll have you, no matter what," he muttered, running his tongue over the photo.

His encounter with Monica had been a few days ago. From the mont he saw her, he had been captivated by her petite figure and innocent face.

Unfortunately, he hadn't dared to act recklessly, given the strict rules of the academy.

But he had a plan—to ask Monica for help with the basic magic journal.

Soon, she would co to his place. And when that happened… Monica would be completely his.

"Hehehe… I can't wait," he whispered, licking his upper lip.
