After a journey of about 10 minutes, they arrived at the dormitories.

There were several huge residential buildings. Ryan entered the first one and headed for one of the main rooms at the top. Given the ti, classes had already started, so there were few people around, which allowed him to walk freely through the corridors.

One of the largest rooms belonged to him.

It was very well decorated and maintained; the cleaning staff did their job as usual.

In fact, when he entered his room, a woman was finishing her daily cleaning chores.

As soon as she saw him, she trembled and imdiately bowed. "Ninth Prince," she greeted him quickly.

"You’ve done a good job," he said, seeing how clean everything was. "Go back, I’ll take care of putting things in their place," he said, seeing that she was trying to help him.

"A-are you sure?" she stamred. She was a middle-aged woman who was used to the authoritarianism of her leaders, so this was the first ti she had ever t a prince who was not like them.

"Of course." He smiled at her.

He couldn’t treat soone who suffered the hardships of this world badly, because he had also suffered them in his first life and understood them very well.

She bowed twice, thanked him, and went back to her work.

Inside the room, Ryan tidied up his bedroom and the living room. He organized his books (of which there were many) and other things necessary for studying, hung so pictures he had brought with him, and did little else.

He decorated simply; after all, he wasn’t going to live here.

Then, about 15 minutes later, he looked at his bedroom and the living room and frowned.

’Where did I get the idea that this was simple decoration?’ he wondered.

He felt that having arrived in the body of a prince was changing his perception of simplicity a little.

But now that he was finished, he left his bedroom and headed for the student registration area.

The mont he stepped outside, he ca face to face with a white-haired man with reddish streaks, dressed in peculiar clothing. A black suit with red decorations, it was unable to hide one peculiar feature of his: his fangs.

As soon as they saw each other, the man greeted him. "Ninth Prince." And then he continued straight to his bedroom.

Ryan followed him with his gaze.

’The son of the Vampire Duke, right?’ he thought. ’He’s always so quiet.’

He was also a senior and one of the only duke’s sons who wasn’t teased. Between fa, fortune, and power, this guy has it all.

At college, there is no one as famous as him among the n; his fa rivals (or surpasses) that of Cecily or other great ladies. He is also one of the most powerful Walkers in the school.

Furthermore, being the son of the longest-lived and most mysterious Duke in Evigheden, no one dares to say anything to him.

If he had a problem, it was his poker face all day long and his inability to speak (not for nothing, he just doesn’t like doing it).

Ryan stopped looking at him and thinking nonsense, went downstairs, and headed to registration.

Later, after finishing registration and going through the necessary procedures, he went to the classroom he had been assigned.

"Class 4W-1." He read the sign on the classroom door (more like a huge auditorium).

Then he went in.

Class hadn’t started when he arrived, so he scanned the room, looking for familiar faces and an empty seat. The first thing he saw was Cecily waving him to sit next to her in the front row.

Next to her were several children of nobles, whom Ryan didn’t even look at.

Unfortunately for him, there weren’t many people he knew besides Cecily; most of his acquaintances were in the regular classes, so he had no choice but to sit next to her.

"Why did the ninth prince co to a Walker class? Did he finally get a path?"

"So late? That’s really unfortunate. Until now, he’s had to limit himself to learning simple things. He might actually be the weakest Walker in the Royal Family."

A nobleman joined the conversation while several ordinary people were talking about him.

"Haha, you don’t even need to know him to know that. He surely got a horrible Path, given his talent. He could be the weakest even among the high nobility, not just the royal family." He sneered.

Unlike the others, this one did not hide his voice. His sudden intrusion into their murmurs caused the ordinary people to fall completely silent.

Both of them tensed up and wanted to disappear from there. Luckily for them, they were ignored.

Cecily turned her head and saw the nobleman who was speaking.

"Do you want to make you eat your teeth?" she asked threateningly.

The man who spoke tensed and swallowed hard. "Even if it’s you, cousin, you can’t hide the sun with your finger! Is anything I said untrue?" he exclaid, with every intention of not backing down.

This brought a small smile to the corner of Cecily’s lips, and in a quick movent that no one could see, she released a strange dark flash of energy.

It traveled at high speed and struck one of the speaker’s teeth.

The impact jerked his head back, hitting it against the table behind him, causing it to bounce forward. Blood spattered everywhere, and he felt his mind reeling with intense pain in his teeth.

A deathly silence followed before Cecily spoke.

"Should I tell my father to punish the useless people who think they’re important?" she wondered, clearly complaining about what was happening within the family.

Belonging to a family of marquises who pay homage to royalty, especially the Queen, it is unacceptable that so mbers mock one of her children.

The man fell silent and quickly left the room to treat his aching tooth. Luckily for him, Cecily had barely exerted herself in that attack; otherwise, he would have lost his tooth and even more.

As he exited through the back door, soone else entered through the front door, imdiately drawing attention to himself.

Many won were excited to see him here and stood up to greet him.

"Young Lord Alaric."

"Young Master D’Arcy!"

Amidst various greetings, the most famous man at the university was welcod into the hall. This situation occurred frequently, so he wasn’t concerned.

Alaric, silent as always, nodded to several of those present and then went to sit in the empty seat directly across from Ryan.

"Ninth Prince." Even though he had seen and greeted him a few minutes earlier in the dorms, he had the good manners to greet him again.

Then he nodded to Cecily. "Miss Larsen."

After that, he sat down, and silence reigned over his body.

Minutes later, the professor entered, followed by a female professor who made most students tense up.
