Vanessa fell silent.

What happened to the perfectly good Hilia, why did she beco like this?

Wherever she goes, she stirs up trouble.

She had just returned and wrecked the Star Dust Divine Hall, then went to Southern Border City—there not only was the Divine Hall gone, but even the City Lord’s thousand-year-old castle was gone too.

Although it was kind of the City Lord’s own fault, using Pure Magic Crystals to attract heretics and even allowing them to fight openly in the city, it really had nothing to do with Hilia... but Hilia was in the city after all!

Looking at where Hilia had gone before, in every place, the High Priest ended up in trouble, hmm...

Vanessa stared at Hilia, lost in thought.

Hilia noticed what Vanessa was thinking and quickly explained, "I also didn’t expect that I’d stumble upon a heretic base by just randomly going inside to train magic—it was an accident."

Vanessa laughed and said, "If these are your only ’accidents,’ that’s actually pretty good. If you take a stroll through the Star Spirit Forbidden Land, all the heretic sects hiding inside would probably get rooted out."

"You’re giving too much credit. How could I possibly be that terrifying?" Hilia pouted, a bit upset.

She huffed, "I’ll leave this place to you then, Mama Vanessa. I’m leaving to continue my training. When you deal with the heretics, don’t do anything to those Ice Wolves, okay?"

Vanessa smiled. "Of course we won’t. But you did remind us—those Ice Wolves really shouldn’t appear here. Before, we didn’t link them to heretics, but now that you ntion it, maybe we can also find sothing out about other magical beast clans that shouldn’t be able to survive here either..."

Hilia imdiately said, "That’s for you all to investigate. Just pay attention to whether there are arrays inside the stone walls—I won’t be involved."

"Sure, if you want to train, go on ahead. Let us take care of things here."

Free credit for the taking. The bishop of Southern Border City had brought a lot of people, even the City Lord himself had co, along with many followers.

They were in the midst of directing their subordinates to tie up all the heretics, one by one.

The most important thing had already been obtained, so Hilia didn’t plan to stay here any longer.

With so many people present, plus the arrival of three Tier Four Mages, the nearby wolf packs had already gone into hiding and couldn’t be used for sparring anymore. Luckily, before entering the cave, Hilia had already started learning Water Reversal Disperse—now she just needed to practice and master it.

When she returned, Rose tossed the dicinal herbs for the bath to Hilia, along with the instruction booklet, leaving her to tinker with it herself while he took the Faith Crystal away to study.

"This Faith Crystal has already condensed enough Power of Faith, but the god behind the Polar Blood Alliance hasn’t co to claim it—the connection is really weak."

Outside Hilia’s room, Rose manipulated a magic puppet, fiddling with the Faith Crystal. After thinking quietly for a while, he decided to ask Ethel, who was busy with his labor reform.

"Ethel, let ask you, do you know about the Polar Blood Alliance?"

"No." Ethel answered simply.

Rose imitated the trace of Divine Power lingering in the pollution and asked, "Then do you know whose Divine Power this is?"

Rose had only ever encountered the Twelve Main Gods during that big battle. In the chaos of battle, he didn’t have the mind to pay attention to how each of the Twelve Main Gods’ Divine Powers felt different.

If it was another lesser god, he would be even less likely to know.

Ethel stopped working, carefully sensed the Divine Power that Rose had simulated, then looked at Rose and said uncertainly, "Seems like it might belong to the Ice God or the Moon God? But your simulation isn’t quite right, so I can’t tell for sure. Among the Main Gods, unless the power carries an Elent, even I can’t distinguish it in detail. I can just tell this belongs to one of the Goddesses—there’re so tiny differences between their Divine Power and ours."

The Moon God and Ice God—both are among the Twelve Main Gods.

In Water Elent, besides the Sea God and Ice God as Main Gods, one’s support and the other offense, but there’s no Water God—neither support nor offense.

"Alright, you can get back to work."

Rose nodded, withdrew his attention from the sealed site, and returned to the Faith Crystal.

"Can’t directly pinpoint the god’s location like before... I guess I’ll have to modify it so that it gives an alert once it gets close enough to a god."

After pondering for a bit, Rose put away the Faith Crystal.

Since there are no modification materials now, and it’s impossible to know the target’s coordinates yet, there’s no difference in when to modify it.

After putting away the Faith Crystal, Rose took out the fused Sea God Divine Format.

"Jonathan and the others spent centuries coming up with this solution. Maybe it’s worth a try—happens I have soone in mind who’s a good candidate."

He ant Benovia.

Since the last ti he helped her during her advancent, a long ti had passed.

Rose could tell she hadn’t backed down after learning his na. On the contrary, she’d tried every ans to uncover those long-buried truths of history.

As both a Royal Princess and Holy Court Saintess, it was easy for her to look up any information she wanted, as long as she was careful not to alert the wrong people.

Rose didn’t know if she had found anything yet, he just sensed that her faint spiritual connection with him had started becoming more frequent again.

Maybe she did find sothing.

"No rush. According to Jonathan’s theory, solving only one isn’t enough; I’ll need four or five Main Gods’ Divine Formats... I have to say, their plan is bold. There’s no way they could complete it on their own, so I’d better handle it myself."

After putting away the Divine Format, Rose returned to Hilia’s Spiritual Space and reminded her, "Okay, your soaking ti is up—get to magic practice."

To avoid embarrassing Hilia, he hid himself so she couldn’t see him.

She had taken dicinal baths several tis already, so Hilia no longer felt as shy or blushed like at the beginning. After hearing Rose’s voice, she got up from the water, stretched her hands over her head and gave a good lazy stretch.

Water stread down her delicate, transparent body.

She climbed out of the water, looked toward the door and giggled, "Lord Rose isn’t peeking at , right?"

"Do I even need to peek?" Rose’s phantom appeared in Hilia’s Spiritual Space.

Hilia panicked instantly, fumbling to grab a big towel and wrap herself up.

The girl huffed with annoyance, "Lord Rose!"

Rose shook his head. "Alright, as long as you’re happy."

With that, he hid himself again.

Hilia let out a breath of relief, dried herself off, and got dressed.

She cald her racing heart, rubbed her hot face, left the room, and walked to the wasteland behind the Divine Hall.

"Lord Rose, now that I’ve learned Water Reversal Disperse, do I still need to go to the Star Spirit Forbidden Land?" Hilia asked.

She really didn’t want to go. Every ti she went, she uncovered another heretic base, and she was worried she’d be hunted down herself.

Rose laughed. "No need. Once you’ve learned this passive magic, you can just practice with whatever you want in daily life—no more throwing yourself into danger."

Hilia sighed in relief, "That’s great."

So, for the next while, Hilia stayed put in Star Ash Town, not going anywhere—practicing magic, refining her magic power, and keeping a wary eye on any possible Polar Blood Alliance moves.

But until it was almost ti for the new term to begin, the Polar Blood Alliance still hadn’t made any move.
