Yet, his landing was t with an unsettling sound, as if sothing had fractured beneath his foot. Alard, he quickly shifted his weight, raising one foot and maintaining his equilibrium. Peering down, he discovered a fractured skull beneath his discarded foot.
His exclamation was a mix of shock and alarm, "Holy heavens..."
Jumping aside, he heard another ominous cracking noise, further deepening his confusion. Gazing at the ground below, a sense of dread took hold.
Beneath the precipice, an expansive, level plateau stretched before him. It had initially appeared to be rely a few ters in width during his descent, but it revealed itself to be nearly a thousand ters across.
This entire plateau was covered in human bones. Bones were strewn across the terrain as far as the eye could see, making it impossible to ascertain their exact quantity.
Cha Eun Xiao comprehended the grisly truth but was still taken aback when he felt the skull beneath his foot. He struck the ground with a palm, causing a flurry of bones to scatter and reveal dark, blood-soaked earth three ters below.

It was a perplexing sight, especially since most of the corpses had decayed significantly. Upon his forceful palm strike, so of the bones disintegrated into dust.
A smaller fraction of the bones remained robust, displaying a lustrous white jade-like quality. When he rapped one with his hand, it produced a clear, tallic sound.
Baffled, he began to exert pressure, but the bone resisted. In fact, it surpassed the hardness of steel, as even half of his full strength could only cause a minor fissure on the bone's surface. Cha Eun Xiao was a practitioner at the fourth level of the Dream Origin Stage, and his strength was sufficient to shape thick steel. Yet, the bone's durability exceeded that of even the sturdiest tal.
