Chapter 473: An Egg Hits a Rock!

An Egg Hits a Rock! . . .

They were determined to ascertain whether Feng Monarch truly possessed such power, hoping against hope that his victory was a fluke, a chance occurrence they could exploit to decimate Ling-Bao Hall.

Bu Jingtian's death was an unmitigated catastrophe for the Sunlight Sect, and the enmity it sowed would endure indefinitely. The events of this day would be etched into their collective mory.

Approximately sixty top-tier cultivators from the Sunlight Sect and the Starlight Sect gathered in unison, casting their gaze upon the lifeless, shattered form sprawled on the ground. Doubt gnawed at them. "Is this truly Bu Jingtian? Is this the veritable No. 1 Cultivator in the world, Bu Jingtian? Could it be a forgery?"

"Fakery? Please, let us not deceive ourselves further."

In the sky, Wan of the Clouds and Xiu of the Heavens couldn't help but rub their eyes, a futile attempt to dispel the disbelief that clung to their senses. The undeniable truth played out before them, yet they remained incredulous. How could Feng Monarch have dispatched Bu Jingtian with a single blow?

"How did he accomplish this? Is it even possible?" Xiu-Er inquired, her eyes wide and sparkling.

Both ladies turned their attention toward Ling Wuxie in unison. For the first ti, they suspected that Lord Ling had been feigning idiocy all along. "Did he truly think Feng Monarch could succeed, and then Feng Monarch actually achieved it?"

Ling Wuxie mustered a bitter smile. "Don't look at like that. I did not assist him."

The two ladies rolled their eyes in response.

"Of course not. We are well aware that you didn't."

"Hmm? What did he an by 'I didn't help'? Does that imply he doesn't understand the situation down there either?"

As they puzzled over this, Ling Wuxie continued, "I observed the outco, yet I couldn't discern how Feng Zhiling achieved it. I believe the mystery lies in Feng Monarch's golden hand. That radiant, golden glow surrounding his hand—it wasn't used to amplify his strength. Rather, I suspect it was employed to obscure our vision. He must have employed so other ans to slay Bu Jingtian."

"Hidden within his hand, there must be sothing... possibly a concealed weapon, sothing extraordinarily unique—a secret technique he had concealed all along."

"What could it be then? I didn't see it," Ling Wuxie lanted.

It was reasonable that others couldn't discern it, but he had been ticulously focused on that golden glow and still couldn't unravel the enigma. This was disconcerting.

What source of power had empowered Feng Monarch to dispatch a foe thousands of tis more potent than himself with a single strike under such dire circumstances? Ling Wuxie couldn't fathom it. Despite his sagacity, he found the answer elusive. Even for him, achieving such a remarkable feat was nigh impossible.

What Ling Wuxie yearned to unravel was what lay concealed behind that shimring golden light. What had Feng Monarch concealed within his hand? Cha Eun Xiao's declaration that "this hit from , even if you are ten tis, a hundred tis, even a thousand tis stronger than you were, you could never handle it" held true. But if Ling Wuxie had been aware of the full truth, how might he react? After all, Cha Eun Xiao had, in reality, slain an adversary a thousand tis more powerful than Bu Jingtian.

Cha Eun Xiao had indeed achieved the impossible.

He had delved into the realm of legends, transcending even myth—transforming reality into a fantastical fairy tale. Cha Eun Xiao himself, however, experienced a flicker of fear in his heart when he beheld Bu Jingtian's lifeless body lying on the ground.

"Did he truly die? Is it truly over?"

Cha Eun Xiao attempted to discern the egg within the Space, its surface marred by streaks of blood. The surreal nature of the mont hung heavily in the air. When he employed his golden hand to veil the truth with its radiant brilliance, he had cradled the egg.

At the mont of impact on Bu Jingtian's head, the egg had manifested in Cha Eun Xiao's grasp. He hadn't exerted force; a re touch sufficed. He'd entertained two potential outcos.

First, the egg might shatter, transforming into a broken shell.

Second, Bu Jingtian's head might be the one to crumble.

While Bu Jingtian's analogy of an egg colliding with a rock held true, Cha Eun Xiao had employed an actual egg as his instrunt of choice.

No one could have anticipated the egg's remarkable resilience. Following the impact, Bu Jingtian had succumbed to the embrace of death. The egg had proven itself as Cha Eun Xiao had hoped—a trustworthy and dependable ally. It was only fitting, given the egg's history of dispatching Gu Jinlong in a grueso manner. In comparison, Bu Jingtian posed no challenge.

Bu Jingtian's demise was a consequence of his own obstinacy, for he had persisted in adhering to his word. Even in the face of impending death, his commitnt to his promise endured. Cha Eun Xiao spoke with feigned admiration, "Elder Bu was a man of exceptional honor. Despite his awareness of his imminent demise, he upheld his word... an honorable and upright individual. I hold him in high regard. In this day and age, there are few who exemplify such unwavering integrity."

These words, steeped in irony, provoked a mixture of anger and fear among the spectators from the Sunlight Sect and the Starlight Sect. They grappled with the incredulity that Feng Monarch had vanquished Bu Jingtian.

"Could it truly be so effortless for him to slay... us..."

"I had no inkling that this elder was such an honorable man!" Cha Eun Xiao continued, his voice teeming with exaggerated admiration. "Elder Bu knew he was facing death, yet he remained true to his word... What an honorable and upright individual! I hold him in the highest regard. In this day and age, few individuals exhibit such honesty and integrity."

These audacious words left the mbers of the two great sects with eyes reddened by a potent mix of anger and disbelief.
