Chapter 510 – Sona’s Peerage VS Yachiru Unohana: Round Two (II)…
[Sitri Mansion, Kuoh Town]
"Balance Breaker: Nostalgia Mad Tea Party!" Tsubaki exclaid, activating her Balance Breaker. Yachiru watched in interest as two more full-body sized mirrors ford in front of Tsubaki. Slowly ripples started to form on the surface of the mirrors and one monster… demon ca out from each mirror.
The first demon took the form of a large rat and the rat seed to be expelling so sort of gas from its mouth. The second demon took the form of a large rabbit dressed in a suit. The third demon took the form of a slender creature with a hat on top of his head.
(A/N: The second ability of Tsubaki's Balance Breaker will be AU).
Nostalgia Mad Tea Party is Tsubaki's sub-species Balance Breaker, which allows her to summon three demons that have different abilities from her mirrors…
•Dormouse: A demon that has the form of a large rat and it expels sleeping gas from its mouth.
•March Rabbit: A demon that has the form of a rabbit in a suit that forces enemies that were affected by the ripples made by the rabbit bouncing to enter a frenzied state.
•Mad Hatter: A slender demon that wears a hat and the demon has the ability to create hallucinations from its eyes.
Nostalgia Mad Tea Party has a second ability, but Tsubaki didn't have enough power to activate it on her own…
Yachiru quickly scanned the creatures and after a few monts of serious contemplation, she couldn't make any heads or tails of the demons Tsubaki had summoned. They didn't look much like demons, so Yachiru decided to reconsider her previous conjecture…
These creatures weren't Demons, in fact, they were simple monsters with so powers!
"Dormouse!" Tsubaki looked at the large mouse and the mouse imdiately started to release a stream of gas in Yachiru's direction.
Yachiru simply tilted her head with a small frown on her face while her eyes were filled with disappointnt. "Hado #58, Tenran" Yachiru muttered and a cyclone was released from her hand, blowing the gas back towards the large mouse. The cyclone was so strong that even the mouse was blown away by it. The mouse kept screeching loudly, but it didn't help.
Yachiru heard Tsubaki click her tongue in frustration. From the corner of her eyes, Yachiru noticed that Momo Hanakai and Sona were doing sothing, but Yachiru didn't have the ti to ponder as she felt so sort of compulsion on her mind.
Yachiru imdiately noticed that the third monster was responsible for the ntal attack. The monster was releasing so sort of hallucinating attack from its eyes. Yachiru simply forced her will to ignore the attack and she slowly raised her hand and pointed it towards the slender monster.
"Bakudo #73, Tozansho" Yachiru muttered and a blue arrow shot out of her finger. The arrow multiplied upto 4 and the arrows extended upwards to four points forming an inverted pyramid around the slender monster. Only after a mont, the inverted pyramid solidified turning into a barrier, entrapping the slender monster.
"Ice Blizzard!!!" Sona and Momo scread loudly as they finally finished all their preparations.
Yachiru imdiately wanted to move away, but for whatever reason, she couldn't move her feet. It seed like her feet were stuck to the ground. So, she couldn't activate Flash Step. Flash Step might seem to be a teleportation technique, but in reality, it was simply a fast movent technique. Yachiru was engulfed by an ice storm that dropped on top of her head out of nowhere.
"March Rabbit!" Tsubaki exclaid loudly looking towards the monster rabbit dressed in a suit. The rabbit imdiately started to jump on the ground, creating ripples on the ground.
"Do you think that would defeat her?" Tomoe asked in a sowhat hopeful tone, but Sona simply grimaced.
"Highly unlikely… let's prepare our next attack" Sona said while looking towards Momo. The silver-haired Bishop nodded her head with a tired look on her face. The last attack took a lot out of her, but she knew that she couldn't give up right now.
"Bakudo #61, Rikujokoro!" Yachiru's voice was heard from inside the ice storm and a yellow flash ruptured through the side of the ice storm and six yellow pillars slamd around the rabbit monster, stopping it from moving or doing anything at all.
"Hado #63, Raikoho" Once again, Yachiru's voice was heard from inside the ice storm and monts later, a huge explosion erupted from the centre of the ice storm. The ice storm dissipated and Yachiru slowly walked out of the dust cloud.
"I comnd all of you, that was a nice plan, but you should have used a stronger attack if you wanted to harm " Yachiru said and she dusted her shihakusho with a gentle smile on her face. Her clothes were slightly ruffled, but besides that, she was completely unhard.
Sona could only chuckle sheepishly. "I never suspected that you would walk out of the attack completely unhard. I made a mistake" Sona admitted in an apologetic tone. "But I did discover sothing, your teleportation technique isn't actual teleportation. It is a fast movent technique" Sona declared with a proud look on her face.
Yachiru also nodded her head. "Yes, you are absolutely correct, but what are you going to do with that information?" Yachiru asked curiously as she started to slowly walk towards Sona.
"It would help with my next attack" Sona muttered with a grin. "Parallel Zone!!" Both Sona and Tsubaki exclaid at the sa ti and both of them clapped their palms together. A white beam ford in between Tsubaki and Sona while Momo Hanakai dropped to her knees while breathing heavily.
Nurous mirrors ford around Yachiru trapping her inside a do made of mirrors. Yachiru noticed that the mirrors were very similar to Tsubaki's Sacred Gear, Mirror Alice. Yachiru also noticed that the gaps between the mirrors were way too thin. So she couldn't escape from the gaps.
Once again, Yachiru found herself comnding Sona. After a few seconds, Sona, Tsubaki and Tomoe appeared in the mirrors. All the mirrors surrounding her were filled with Sona, Tsubaki, or Tomoe's reflections. Yachiru pursed her lips into a thin smile.
"So you plan to imprison here? You aren't going to win like that" Yachiru pointed out and Sona shook her head with a soft chuckle.
"No, that's not the plan" Sona said and Yachiru's senses flared and she twisted her body to dodge a sword slash, but before she could counter-attack, she had to move away to dodge another attack. Monts later, Yachiru found herself surrounded by Magical attacks.
"Bakudo #73, Tozansho!" Yachiru exclaid and an inverted pyramid barrier ford around her. The attacks slamd against the barrier. The barrier shattered, but it was strong enough to withstand all of the Magical attacks.
"You see, I wanted to spring this attack without losing any of my Peerage mbers, but I have to do with what I have" Sona shrugged and the onslaught of attacks continued.
"I see… Hado #78, Zangerin" Yachiru said and slashed her hand, releasing a whip towards a couple of mirrors, but she frowned when the attacks were reflected back in her direction with more power.
'So, the mirrors could also reflect her attacks just like Tsubaki's Sacred Gear… how amusing' Yachiru contemplated inside her mind as she continued to dodge the attacks.
Yachiru didn't know how, but sohow Sona had managed to combine her power along with Tsubaki's Sacred Gear. Yachiru didn't know enough about Sacred Gears to make any sort of conclusions, so she decided to use brute force to get what she wanted.
Since the mirrors surrounding her could reflect her energy-based attacks, she decided to test a couple of physical attacks to see if she could break them or not. Usually, Yachiru preferred energy-based Kido techniques, but beggars can't be choosers.
"Hado #57, Daichi Tenyo" Yachiru muttered and the ground beneath her cracked. Chunks of land rose in the air and all the chunks were hurled towards the mirrors surrounding her. The chunks of land collided against the mirrors, but they didn't even put a scratch on the mirrors.
Yachiru internally shrugged. It was at least worth a try. "This technique you have used is brilliant, but looks like your Queen and Knight are getting tired" Yachiru said in a kind tone while looking at Sona's reflection. Sona didn't show any reactions on her face, but she internally grimaced.
'Even after all this, she is still treating us like amateurs' Sona growled in anger and she tightly clenched her fists. 'But, I can't bla her. In front of her, we are simply amateurs. I wonder if I could ever reach her level' Sona wondered as she relaxed slightly, but she continued to attack.
Yachiru landed on her feet and quickly made so hand seals. "Roppo Fujin!" Yachiru muttered and a green hexagonal barrier ford around her. All the incoming attacks were easily stopped by the barrier and the barrier didn't even budge in the slightest. Sona, Tsubaki, and Tomoe frowned and froze for a mont.
"I have played long enough" Yachiru said in a polite tone as she tilted her head. Sona, Tsubaki, and Tomoe paled drastically. "Hado #91, Senju Koten Taiho!" Yachiru said and ten pink energy orbs ford around her. Monts later, the energy orbs were flung in all directions.
As soon as the orb collided against the mirror, a devastating pink explosion erupted from inside the do. The do of mirrors was obliterated into nothingness and soon most of the training area was engulfed by the explosion…
