My rocks were gone, it had cost quite the number of coins to get them, and it didn't help that I was both broke and literally fighting for my life at the mont.

I still hadn't dealt this behemoth of otherworldliness a blow. It was agile, strong, and tough, just how would I defeat it?

I had burnt quite the energy in maintaining myself in the battle, if not for my energy recovery necklace, I would have lost the battle of attrition already.

I took a deep breath, ignoring that a large part of my arsenal was gone. The ghostwave hybrid eyes tensed, and I could tell that it was about to deliver a hit as I ca close, but then, in a flash of light, I was no longer on the path to which I ca.

I appeared awfully at its side, and like a vicious snake, it ca at swinging the hamr horizontal to my torso. Suddenly, I fell, the creature's eyes widened. I had avoided the strike by swooping down, and then I delivered a cut on its tree-like legs and imdiately teleported out of its arm length.

My blade created a cut, though it wasn't as deep as I had wanted, but it was deep enough. I tensely watched it, my eyes focused on the opening above its ankle.

I was hoping it couldn't regenerate, I wouldn't be surprised if it could, regeneration just seed like a basic ability for those that are powerful these days.

And true to my speculation, vine outgrowths creeped from the opening, intertwined and closed the wound. Wound? Could I even call it that? Yes, I had delivered a strike that cut it, but there was no blood, no bodily fluid that could have one guess that it was living. And that was the more living part of its body—Its tree leg. I needed to deliver a cut to the upper body next, preferably the head.

I slowly nodded to myself, strangely aware of my breathing and the quietness of the large room.

I was betting that this was Suphas, I was certain it was. It just had to be the boss of this floor, and for a boss, it was doing incredibly well.

I ca at it again, running at it in an arc. It remained unmoving, large hamr held forward in a stance that balanced offense and defense.

Its pupiless large white eyes didn't shift, they were like rocks slotted in a statue and I was unsure of how to approach the thing.

'I wish I had a projectile weapon right now.'

Soon enough, I turned and ca right at it, from its very front. I was brazen, or perhaps I had just given up on everything and just thought to co heads first to it.

I took a step forward, just inches away, looking at its eyes. I thrust my Wyvern Blade at its eyes, but I was certain it would hit before I could reach so instead, I let out a bolt of electricity, and it struck.

My lightning attack struck it right on the face, and then it stumbled backwards, backstepping to almost falling. It dragged its hamr on the ground as it staggered.

This was my chance, I probably wouldn't get another. I blinked, and suddenly I was behind it. Its back was exposed and with it stunned, it was easy. I thrust my Wyvern Blade and Dragon Dagger into its bulbous white back, and there was a squelch, and then the massive hamr ca my way.

I teleported out of harm's way, and appeared a few ters above, falling and then rolling up to my feet.

I saw its face, and I realized sothing. My lightning attack which was fairly ordinary in destructive and output power burnt its face. The drifting tentacles that hung from it shrunk, and from its forehead to the tentacles mouth was a large brown mark. It was a burn mark from my attack, and first, from waiting, I expected the face to heal imdiately, but it didn't and from the anger across its face, I could tell that it was madder now, I had made it even angrier.

Was it susceptible to burning attacks, or did its upper part just lacked the ability to regenerate?

It let down the hamr, and turned its long right arm to its back and then placed it on where I had just stabbed. It withdrew its hand, staring at it, and I watched as a white fluid dripped from it.

It slowly took its eyes from its hand and then glared at . It was scary looking and ugly before the burn, and though I wasn't affected in the sense of feeling either repulsed or afraid, now, it looked more even so, yet, my abilities had remain poised and stoic. I had the ntal fortitude of a thousand n.

Its tentacles fluttered as it forced out wind from its windpipe in anger. A high pitched whistle ca from it. It was like the sound sought to rend my eardrums, and I gritted my teeth, withstanding the pain.

It then stopped and slamd the hamr to the ground.

BOOM!

The house shook from the blow, items falling off the wall, dust drifting down below, and then it slowly pulled up his hamr. I looked at where it struck and there was no crack, no dent, nothing. It was like it hadn't struck it when the sound that occured shook the building itself.

'What the…' That was one super tough floor, I would say that it was indestructible.

It took a long exhale, and the sound was like it was whizzing, but not in the uncomfortable way, but rather in a way that told a ssage.

And then, it let out the ssage once again like the loyal puppet bound to a room,

"All ye who enter here shall join the ingot and shall be ground to nothing."

"All ye who enter here shall join the ingot and shall be ground to nothing."

It stopped, and the protective golden bubble ca atop it once more, and then it said sothing that was entirely off script,

"I'll kill you."
