Pengxin was stunned. She lowered her head and looked at herself. There was alarm in her eyes. “Don’t scare . What’s tying up?”
“I didn’t an sothing supernatural.” Ji Man didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. “Never mind, cousin-in-law, why did you co here so late? Did sothing happen?”
Ji Man thought; this young woman’s eyes couldn’t hide anything. All her feelings were plainly written on her face. Sothing must have happened in Ning Mingjie’s household for her to co over here so late.

If Mingjie hadn’t interrupted them, he might have been able to hear Ji Man say more heartfelt words that she normally wouldn’t say.
Ning Mingjie saluted him with his hands. Soon after, he asked, “Did my wife co here? It’s so late in the night, so I was worried and ca here to pick her up.”
