" Don’t know you, don’t understand," said Agnes as he lifted Harley and held her against a large oak tree. " You bad, stay away, Saphira my only mate, understand?"
Agnes was unlike his human counterpart, it could understand the human language but speaking it was troubleso. For him, it was hard to put his thoughts into words but sohow he still managed to do so, with his fingers curled around the delicate throat that he can snap at any mont, Agnes spat, " Do not like you, not my lover...just a pawn in hand, understand?"
Harley couldn’t understand anything, she couldn’t understand a thing that Agnes was saying with his grip tightening around her throat, he was cutting off all the air in her lungs and she couldn’t even breathe so, how was she supposed to even listen to what he was saying when she was fighting for breath? She clawed at his hands but Vampire’s skin was thicker than the other shifters, scratching him with her hands was like she was trying to scratch a bulletproof vest. She didn’t even leave a single scar behind.
" Ah...Ahmar.." even though she was on the verge of death she believed that if she called Ahmar with all the love in her body, the latter might respond but the thing was there was no love. Just greed.
Ahmar didn’t respond to her plea and Harley knew that she needed to do sothing before sothing happened, sothing worse. So, she shouted in her head, " System! System do sothing or I will die!"

A sharp zap of electricity flowed out of Harley’s body as if she was made out of it, Agnes who has never seen or felt sothing like this was taken by surprise as he let go of her and stumbled. As soon as Agnes retreated, Harley didn’t even stop a mont to take a breath, she clutched her skirt and dashed away like she was being chased by a monster. While she was running, she turned her head to the south and glared at the tall dragon palace, it doesn’t matter she will have her hands over this place sooner or later.
If not today then maybe tomorrow.
She kept on running and running and didn’t stop until she reached the magical lake that was at fifteen minutes’ distance from the palace and was sitting right next to the laundry hall. Once she reached the lake, she dropped to her knees and sucked in deep breaths, as she panted and gobbled up loads of air in her system—— right now, she really thought she was going to die again. That beast, he wasn’t kidding around!
Harley raised her hand and touched her neck before she let out a loud wince. " Damn it!" She smacked the ground as she glared at her reflection in the lake, " You said that I will be able to get a hold of him if I level up, I listened to you, so why didn’t anything happen as you told ?"
The system was the one that asked her to use the rest of her points to level up, and she did. She chose the option of levelling up and selected ’ love dove eyes’ to make the consorts get attracted to her even more, so how co even after wasting so many points, she was still stuck where she was yesterday? If nothing was going to work then what was the point of wasting her points huh?
" Taming a beast takes ti, master," responded the system as it finished listening to the complaints of its master. " You need to get bitten a few tis to rein in the beast properly, or else how will you take control of all the consorts. Don’t forget that underneath the charming exterior they all are beasts. If you want to train a beast according to your will then you will have to get stronger than it."
" You are right," now that Harley was done listening to her system, her mind was a little bit clear. " I will definitely rein them in just you wait!" She clutched her throat and swore in her head that one day, she will make that beast get on its knees for her like a freaking slave!
