At Yang Ancestral Mansion
The garden was filled with the lively music and reverberating sounds of laughter as everybody was celebrating the happy ending of Xander and Yera’s ordeal. Though it was a small closed group gathering, the liveliness was not less. It was a glorious day for Xander and his family and now his family could finally enjoy freedom from all sches of the Yue clan to end Xander and his children’s life.
"Your wedding ceremony will follow soon... But, hmm... I wonder if the gown you selected earlier will still fit you, seeing the growing size of your belly." mom Liz teased Rizie, whose face turned crimson red of embarrassnt.
Yera looked at her own belly and comnted, "That’s okay, Rizie... Look at mine? You’re ahead of , but my belly is thrice as big as yours already. And see how they all keep feeding all day long!"
Rizie laughed and said, "You have three hungry babies inside Yera, you must eat enough to keep your body strong and with three babies your belly has to be bigger..."
Everyone laughed...
Yera then turned at Shan, who sat beside her and said, "Finally. You and Ron can have your honeymoon. Sorry Shan, if it’s too delayed."
Shan gave Yera a bashful smile as she timidly said, "That’s okay, mada. It can wait."
Then Shan looked at Ron, who was enjoying his drinks with the rest of the n. She had a loving smile while she shared, "We actually enjoyed this period of our relationship to the fullest. and Ron almost skipped the courting part and went to the marriage stage directly. So not having a baby for a while helped us to know each other more... to grow more in our relationship as a husband and wife."
The rest of the won nodded in agreent.
Shan’s face reddened while she added, "Ron is actually jealous whenever he will hear news of pregnancies. He said he wanted a big family..."
Rizie laughed and teased, "Wow so that’s why you filed a vacation leave? I bet you two are too excited for that honeymoon trip."
Shan had a shy smile while Rizie continued to tease her.
"Ron seems to be a quiet type of person," mom Liz comnted while she looked at the n’s direction.
anwhile, Yera smiled while her gaze directed to the n with their own group of conversation. She noticed Rui and sighed. He was smiling, but it was empty. His eyes were hollow and a layer of sadness covered him.
Rizie followed her gaze and sighed as well.
"I wished Cali was here with us too." Rizie murmured. Yera heaved a long, deep sigh once more.
Cali suffered with partial amnesia post surgery and her mories stopped up to the day of her graduation in country V. She could no longer recall what happened after that. All her mories were gone, including them and Rui.
Cali was in a crucial state as of now and it would be better to leave her alone for so ti to let her heal for and recover well without telling her about Rui, her marriage and all of them because if she tried to stress her brain and rember all things and try to force herself in rembering people she already forgot... It might be too much for her to process and it would not be good for her brain.
"How long will Rui need to wait?" Rizie asked Yera.
"I don’t know Rizie. Looking at her physical health for a few weeks but after that it all depends on Rui..." Yera whispered.
As Xander told her, Rui wanted to give Cali a few years of freedom to enjoy her youth. But his marriage with her would remain without her knowing. Rui would introduce himself to her when the right ti cos.
Xander on the other hand never left Rui all throughout the night.
"Bro, stay here for the night." Xander comnted and Rui only answered him with a nod accompanied by a half smile.
"How about we have a stag party for Dion?" Xander burst and Dion’s face twisted. Rui on the other hand laughed and said, "Bro... I think you will be more busy in the coming days since Ron is going to use his vacation leave for his honeymoon so don’t you dare enjoy your freedom that much. Besides, I will also start travelling soon, so you now gear up to take care of the company like how you used to."
"What the heck? I just got free from all the threats and got to spend good ti with my wife, and you all are going on vacations left and right?" Xander complained. Everyone laughed while Rui patted Xander’s shoulders consoling him.
"You’re not allowed to go on vacation because travelling will be uncomfortable for Yera. Wow... But I do admire you, bro. Dion here only has one, but you got three in one shot!" Rui teased, trying to blend with everyone’s mood. He did not want to be the cause of a sad atmosphere because this should be a celebration for his blood brother.
"Boys! I brought more beers!" They heard the joyful voice of Senior Sy, who arrived with the butler with more bottles of alcohol.
"Dad surely wants us all to get drunk." Dion muttered.
"Of course you boys enjoy getting drunk while I will now pull my wife to sleep. You know oldies like us should always have a proper and complete sleep." Senior Yang comnted with a grin.
Xander shook his head while he watched his father walk towards the ladies’ group to pull mom Liz away from them.
"I won’t be surprised if those two leave soon as well for a honeymoon vacation," Xander comnted with pursed lips.
"Uncle has been alone without a partner for years so it’s understandable." Rui whispered with a smile.
After so ti, Yera already felt tired and asked Xander to walk her in their room first and everyone understood since Yera was carrying triplets so she easily got tired and felt sleepy.
"Darling... Stay with for a while till I sleep." Yera affectionately asked. So Xander joined her on the bed while he humd a song as a lullaby.
"What gender do you think our babies will have?" Yera sheepishly murmured.
"Hmm. I think it’s two boys and one girl." Xander answered excitedly.
"Darling... I forgot to ask about this. That Tyron said, you know Raine?" Xander asked.
He heard Yera chuckle and said, "Yeah, when I saw that beautiful woman entering the room where kidnappers kept , at first I thought she’s a part of that gang who is after you and wanted to harm and my children.
But she saved like the back of her hand and not only this she was the one who had saved you several tis when you were attacked by Yun. Darling... Raine is just aweso... and see she is your relative also... your aunt..."
Then Yera sluggishly enurated each incident, and Xander was too shocked to hear all about it.
"We owe her a lot..." Yera muttered before totally dozing off to sleep.
Xander felt Yera was already in deep slumber so he quietly raised his body up. He gave Yera a small kiss on her lips then said, "Goodnight my darling."
He moved then leaned on Yera’s belly carefully to give it a kiss as well while he whispered, "Goodnight to three of you too my cute babies..."
He was too excited to have to wait to see them already. It was decided that her wife would stop working and stay at the mansion instead both for her and their babies’ health.
"Hmm... I should start thinking of so beautiful nas for our babies." Xander excitedly whispered while he walked back to the garden to join everyone.
