The vampiress who was suspectibly Damien’s mother marched into the dining hall, red eyes burning with rage as her gaze flickered over everyone seated in distaste.

She seed to harbor hatred for everyone present, excluding her sons as she flashed them a short smile that barely reached her lips, more like a smirk.

Taking long strides, she approached them. She lowered her head in a bow to Draco, as she acknowledged his presence, while ignoring the three demons.

Her gaze caught Rama’s and her brows furrowed in displeasure.

She flipped her silky black straight, shoulder-length hair backward, making it bounce. Rama observed the vampiress seated opposite her, her sharp facial features made her seem wolfish, her crimson eyes were as sharp as blades, almost cutting into the air with her gaze, her sharp pointed nose, thin red lips, and high cheekbones educed a distinctive acuity in her.

The vicinity retained a silence that seed to hover above them with an intensifying ambiance as they were all complete. Rama utilized the short silence to observe the three dark entities seated across the table from her.

The crimson haired demon, undoubtedly Leviathan and Damien’s father retained a stoic expression, similar to that of Zamiel, anwhile, Damien was a physical replica of him, the difference was the millennium of ancient knowledge and power he retained swirling visibly in his red eyes.

His presence itself emitted envy from within his being, to portray the form he was shrouded in as the demon of envy.

If not for the resemblance, It was almost disbelieving that he was their father as he possessed his youthfulness, but as a supernatural creature, it wasn’t surprising either especially for a demon.

The other male figure which she presud was a demon, retained a rather spiteful appearance as he gazed at everyone, but what she seed to notice was the insatiable desire that swirled in his erald eyes and his thick brows always creased in discontent.

Last, but not the least, her gaze fell on the female demon who was the embodint of pleasure, rely gazing at her, one could find themselves lost in a whirlpool of pleasure.

An irresistible beauty, she was, shrouded in the cloak of lust and salacious desires as she lured n who retained even the strongest will with just a glance, the corner of her lips was always curved into a tiny smirk.

Overall, the three demons seed to exude a more powerful and dark aura than the night creatures, it made her feel cold and hot at the sa ti.

"Damien son, my ssenger inford of this..." The vampiress paused before she continued "Gathering."

"So tell us, why are we here, and most importantly, why are those demons here?" She added in, her smooth llifluous voice suddenly turning dark as she glanced at the demons.

"His father was invited, and besides we were friends, so we decided to tag along since it had been such a long ti." The female demon said, twisting seductively in her seat as she flashed Draco a soul-catching look, one he seed to ignore as his gaze was fixated on the jade eyed woman who was avoiding his gaze like a plague.

"What is this about Damien? Why are there humans here?" The vampiress’s tone darkened even more as she drawled on the last sentence.

Rama’s palms balled into tight fists, she could feel the air change with an uncanny rising situation, one they hadn’t addressed yet. The vampiress’s gaze t hers and a scowl stuck to her face suddenly.

Malika on the other hand seed to ignore everyone, she could barely even notice the unnerving situation as her gaze was fixated on Zamiel who had not spared her a glance since he walked in.

He seed to be avoiding her and the thought made her chest tighten, her amber eyes glead with unshed tears which she blinked back to avoid embarrassing herself in front of everyone, so she tore her eyes from him while staring down at the table.

"I’m glad Amon and Onyx are present and I arranged this eting to announce my marriage to Rama." Damien said in a neutral tone, unfazed by his mother’s infuriated countenance or his father’s deathly silence.

His mother’s gaze suddenly dropped on Rama again, a visible glare emitted from her eyes as her lips twisted in scorn.

anwhile, his father’s gaze rely flickered past her as if she wasn’t worthy enough for him to spare her his glance.

"If you’re insane enough, marry her. I already have worthy sons, I don’t need a spineless half-breed who’s gullible enough to believe in frivolous human feelings." Leviathan said stiffly as he sprouted up on his feet, ready to leave after his final statent.

Damien’s look darkened at his father’s words, but he didn’t react nor did he give a retort.

"Coming from a spineless demon who killed a defenseless human because of...jealousy? How pathetic." Zamiel’s voice echoed in the dining room as the words flowed freely from his mouth in a rather bored tone.

Leviathan’s brows furrowed darkly as he slamd his fists on the table while leaning forward to pierce his crimson eyes into Zamiel’s cold, dark ones, while he sat on the other side of the table.

"You support your brother in this absurdity, Zamiel? You know better the dire consequences when going against the devil, you all witnessed it firsthand." His father said in a grim tone.

"The devil only cares about his mindless minions, so worry about yourself father." Zamiel said in a flat tone.

"I might be your father, but one more word of disrespect from you and...."

"And you’ll what? Kill him? He’s not allowed to die without my permit, so I’ll kill you before you try." Draco suddenly chipped in with a nonchalant voice and the hall fell silent for a mont with a heavy suffocating air.

"Weren’t you leaving?" Draco drawled in a mockfilled tone as he eyed Leviathan.

The demon scowled at him before standing straight. "A demon falling in love with a human is forbidden, you can never have a happy ending, our paths are always plunged in the dark, we were birthed from the darkness, and we conform to it." With that said, he veered around and walked away, till he faded from sight.

The weight of his words retained an underlying aning as if passing onto a dark warning to them, one that seed to hold an enigmatic mystery that left Rama puzzled.

"I’d hate to agree with him, but he’s right. As much as you hate him, I do but..I’m afraid you cannot marry a human, even though Lucifer doesn’t interfere, you cannot have a happy ending with her, demons are cursed creatures from birth, their entire existence is contrary to the darkness, it’s a call you cannot resist." The vampiress said with a grim look.

"It’s my choice and I know very well the risk I’m willing to take. I see father still hasn’t changed, blinded by his envy and pride, shouldn’t Lucifer be the prideful one, yet it seems he’s both the demon of envy and pride himself." Damien said blatantly, not paying serious attention to whatever was being said.

"Damien!" His mother snapped as she slamd her fists on the table, angry at the nonchalance and unseriousness he employed in addressing the situation.

"Ideria." He called back, making her face frown more.

"That’s enough, we all know how impossible it is to talk Damien out of sothing, so if he wants to marry this human, we’re both in full support, I and Amon." Onyx suddenly chipped in, while Amon slowly twisted his neck to face her with a glare.

"What? At least the Devil wouldn’t care if you’re getting married to a human, it’s not his son anyway but a half demon, we all know he doesn’t take half demons seriously, excluding his son." Onyx blabbed.

But then everyone turned to face her as if she had said sothing abominable, Amon gave her a grim look as if it was her last day on earth, as she spouted sothing that seed to weigh on a dire consequence.

"Why co here, blab and then give a reason to decapitate you?" Draco drawled darkly as he glared at her from beneath his dark lashes.

A nervous laughter rolled off her lips as she hurriedly sprouted up on her feet.

"Sit!" He commanded with an air of authority that made her sit back chanically.

She gulped heavily before speaking "I didn’t an anything offensive my prince, you know I would never say anything to offend you, I apologize." She said hysterically, while leaving Rama confused.

She couldn’t decipher the uncanny situation that was brewing right that instant, but whatever it was seed to tick Draco off and it made everyone tightlipped.

"Your stupidity is courtesy to Asmodeus’s pampering, so if I had to decapitate anyone, it’d be your father." Draco said nonchalantly, the flaring golden hue in his red eyes faded as he retained a blank look.

Rama realized she was the demon of lust’s daughter, naturally making her a demoness of lust, it was obvious, the very air she breathed in reeked of lustful desires.

"P-Please not Daddy, he didn’t do anything wrong and I said I’m sorry!" She yelped in between sobs but no tears emanated from her eyes as she whined.

When she realized her fake sobs weren’t enough to move Draco, her facade montarily dropped to be replaced with a dark look as she glared at him from the side of her black eyes.

"Anyways, where were we?" Draco inquired as he scrutinized them all, but his gaze lingered longer on the jade eyed woman who still avoided his.

"The bride hasn’t said anything yet, it’s only right she gets to familiarize herself with the family." Draco said and she gradually locked her gaze with his as she cast him a visible side eye.

"Oh, she’s a feisty one." Amon exclaid, slightly amused.
