A moan rolled off her lips amidst the kiss, the surge of desires coursing through her veins at that mont, elicited by his touch, made her head go hazy with uncertain vague mories, mories she couldn’t reach, as if they were lost to the deepest depths of the sea.

The collision of their lips stroking against each other spurred a tantalizing inferno burning their hot skins ignited with desires. His familiar musky scent stirred a sense of knowing in her, still yet it felt distant, a distant familiarity.

She had forgotten him, but in a mont, as their lips t in a fiery, longing kiss. It was a kiss that rekindled ancient desires, like a forgotten love story written in their hearts as their souls fused into one.

As the crimson moon bathed them in it’s eerie red glow, their hot lips lted into each other’s with the symphony of firm commanding ones of his and the pliant, tender ones of hers.

His warm tongue invaded the insides of her mouth, tongues entwined in perfect harmony and another shaless moan escaped underneath her breath as she succumbed to the forbidden taste of his lips.

His hands road about the small expanse of her back which was left bare for the cold air to kiss, but imdiately his hot hands ca in contact with her skin to educe a searing blazing sensation on her cold skin, it felt as if a wave of hotness and coldness ran down through her spine.

As if she had been struck with a clash of lightning, her eyes jutted open when a vivid mory of him kissing her flashed in her head for a short montarily lapse in a rapid beat.

Her abrupt jerk broke the passionate kiss they were sharing with a loud confused gasp eluded her lips, her body trembled slightly in a muddled state, her brain turning chaotic with disarray.

"Malika?" He called, his voice tender and warm, which was far from the cold, emotionless one he usually retained.

"I-I." She stuttered in confusion as she tried to explain what had just transpired, but even her couldn’t comprehend the situation.

"Wash up so we can leave, it’s late." He said neutrally, not querying her anymore.

Aware of the fact that his touch and actions triggered mories of him in her head, he sought to take it slowly, one step at a ti until she fully gained her mories.

Although he knew the chances of one regaining their lost mories was almost impossible, her disorientated state paved way for hope as it was obvious she got a mory flash.

Still reeling from the unprecedented kiss, she nodded her head as she watched him move a few steps away from her with back turned to face her.

Sighing softly, she stripped her clothes off and quickly imrsed herself into the water as she washed herself. It was strange for him to suddenly kiss her, yet it didn’t feel so strange at all, as if it was almost anticipated, but why rang in her head.

Why would the cold, vampire lord kiss her? And more importantly why did she kiss him back? She pondered as she hurriedly washed up in the surprisingly warm water. She was expecting ice cold water to greet her as the temperature dropped at night, but surprisingly it was warm.

She was confused with her behavior because she would never act so discourteously as to kiss an enigmatic vampire lord she was unfamiliar with, yet she felt as though she was familiar with every inch of him.

After finally getting rid of the dirt on her skin, she ekly ca out of the water covering her chest with both arms as she peered her eyes observingly into his back, but imdiately she ca out of the water, she felt a rising heat engulf her body and then in a twinkle of an eye, the water on her body dried up while she fluttered her lashes in confusion.

"You’re welco." She heard lord Zamiel’s voice ring with a blank tone, making her realize it was his doing.

She quickly picked up her dress and wore it with hasty movents, after she was done covering her nakedness, only then did she realize the mud stains were gone and it looked as good as new.

"Thank you lord Zamiel." She said after doing the laces with carelessness, dreading what had ensued to repeat itself again if she were to ask for his help.

"Let’s go." He said and started walking through the dark forest.

She followed behind him, her hands itching to grab his as a result of her suppressed fear of the dark. She still believed in monsters lurking in the woods and more so, her fear heightened because she had been hunted by one in the early night.

"Lord Zamiel?" She called as she suddenly rembered Rama.

Silence hung in the air as he waited for her to speak, while she interlocked her fingers desperately.

"I saw the Queen going into the woods, that’s how I ca to look for her, can we find her before we go back? If sothing happens to her..." She trailed off as she choked on the tears threatening to burst out of her eyes.

"She’s fine, Draco will find her." Zamiel said with nonchalance but certainty lingered heavily.

Her eyes lit up in relief and their silent journey through the woods continued, it felt as though the kiss had never happened with the awkward silence intensifying in the eerie air.

They ca across a horse, presumably his horse as he mounted atop it and helped her sit behind him. Her small hands clutched around his torso as the horse moved with speed toward the castle.

She inhaled his musky scent with a corny smile on her face, her fingers sneakily playing with his long silky hair that danced with the wind.

As they neared, she wondered if killing the demon would have a detrintal consequence and a price for him to pay. The thought of him been in danger because of her made her heart restless with fear.

Arriving at the castle, they mounted down and proceeded inside, as they reached the intersection of the corridor where they would depart to their allocated chambers, he called out to her.

She imdiately veered around "Yes, Lord Zamiel." She breathed out, the mont of their shared kiss never faded out of her mind for even one second and as their eyes t, she could taste the intensity of their searing hot lips like an invisible force.

"Next ti request a guard when you go out." He implied with a straight face, his cold deneaour fixed.

She’d rather let the ground open up and swallow her than ask one of those vampires to escort her out, they didn’t look trustworthy and even though they weren’t as nacing as he was, they unnerved her more with their presence.

"Then don’t hesitate to ask ." He stated out and leaving her frozen in position, she watched his retreating back as he disappeared out of her sight.

A brief smile grazed her lips as she retreated to her chambers.

As she lay on her bed, she couldn’t stop thinking of the uncanny night, yet through the frightening event that had occurred, a smile managed to break through her lips as she rembered him.

The fact he offered to escort her whenever she went out just to protect her made her blush.

It was unexpected of him and then her instincts conveyed to her that he maybe liked her. The thought seed valid, but deep down she could feel it was more than that, the perciptible connection they undoubtedly shared spoke of sothing beyond human comprehension.

As the day faded into the velvety embrace of night, Malika found herself unable to tear her thoughts away from the kiss they had shared. It was as if the very essence of their past had been woven into that single, tantalizing mont. Her cheeks flushed like the petals of a rare, exotic rose as she pondered the intricate tapestry of their intertwined destinies.

She yearned to unravel the discernable mysteries surrounding him and the uncertain puzzles pervading their fates together. Sothing felt amiss between them and she resorted to finding the truth at all ans.

Perhaps spending more ti with him would help untangle the secrets and hushed whispers of the enigmatic vampire lord.

Thankfully, he had offered to serve as her protector anyti she would go out. Smuggling into the warmth of the thick quilt, she suddenly rembered Rama. She prayed inwardly that she was alright and was it badly hurt.

The Queen had disappeared while on her watch and if she got hurt, it would be her head rolling on the floor, it suddenly reminded her of Amon’s head when lord Zamie ripped it off with his bare hands.

How could soone be so cold yet so tender? She thought inwardly as she rembered the tenderness of his eyes when he looked at her, it was a stark contrast to when he viciously decapitated the demon.

She had loved fairytales and yearned for her life to be like one, for a prince charming to co to her rescue when she was in danger, but she didn’t get a prince charming nor a knight in shining armor, she got a fiery demon that was ready to decapitate other demons for her and burn the world down.

It was better than a fairy tale.
