The food court was filled with colorful balloons. The walls were designed with so dolphins and seahorses cartoon drawings on it.
This was just the start of his surprise since Little lon still has to see the different halls that the aquarium park has.
Seeing everyone he knows greeting him, especially when he saw his father, Little lon’s eyes beco teary. He refused to cry in front of so many so he tried his best to hold back his tears. He turned away and buried his face in his mother’s neck.
"Oh dear." Xia ilin smiled, she gently rubbed his back as she walked towards her husband. "Didn’t I say that your dad will definitely co?"
Little lon nodded his head while he was still burying his face in her neck.
"llo’s being shy!" One of the children said out loud, others chuckled at this.
"Co here, son."
Hearing his father’s voice, he finally leaned back and turned, reaching out to his father.
Lu Yifeng carried him and faced the cake. The cake was custom made. It has a Puss in Boots cake topper on it and beside it was a candle.
"This is the best birthday party ever!"
"Hurry llo! Blow your candle!"
"Yeah! So that we can go around and see the fishes!"
"I want to see the dolphins!"
"We should sing the birthday song first to llo!"
"Let’s sing it fast then!"
Hearing his friends’ remarks made Little lon turn to them. "There’s dolphins here?"
"Yeah!" Most of the children quickly exclaid.
Little lon’s eyes sparkled. He has only seen dolphins in his picture books. He turned to his father. "Hurry up, dada! llo wants to go see the dolphins!"
The grown-ups started laughing after hearing their children’s words.
Well, they were entertaining the children and it was a kiddie birthday party for Little lon so they are expected to have fun. This wasn’t a formal party so everyone was wearing casual clothes. Only Little lon was wearing an all-white tuxedo to standout since he was the birthday boy.
"I guess the food and gifts can wait." Xia ilin laughed lightly.
"Okay, everyone. Let’s sing the birthday song for llo so that he can blow his candle! I can’t wait to see the sharks!" Li Bingbing exclaid with a grin on her lips.
"Yeah!" The children cheered at the sa ti. They were all excited to go around.
With that, everyone started singing the birthday song for Little lon.
Lu Xian Yu was the only one in Lu Yifeng’s side who was there. Jing Yue and their grandfather haven’t arrived yet. anwhile, Xia ilin’s grandparents and brother were already there.
After singing the birthday song, Little lon leaned towards his cake while he was being carried by his father. "I wish..." He closed his eyes and made a wish before he blows off the candle.
Everyone clapped happily at this.
Little lon was smiling from ears to ears as he looked at his parents, "Can we go see the dolphins now?"
Xia ilin nodded, "Of course."
Little lon was placed on the ground and he held his parent’s hands as they walked. "Let’s go, everyone!" Little lon exclaid excitedly.
Their family started leading the group.
"Ah, the children have so much energy. I’m getting old. I will just stay here and wait for my grandson’s return." Ji Ruo said as she sat down on the chair.
"You’re already old, grandma." Xia Sinian chuckled.
"You little rascal, why don’t you go find yourself a wife and give another grandchild too?" Ji Ruo crossed her arms.
Xia Jiamu nodded, "Always working is not healthy."
Xia Sinian was about to answer them when soone suddenly interrupted them.
"Don’t worry, grandma, grandpa. I’ll make sure that Sinian here will get himself a wife and a child."
Xia Sinian turned to Li Bingbing, his expression beca cold.
"Ah, it’s been so long since I last saw you, Bingbing dear." Ji Ruo smiled happily when she saw her.
Li Bingbing leaned and gave Ji Ruo a hug. "I missed you grandma."
Xia Jiamu pouted as he looked at her, "How about ?"
"Of course, you too, grandpa." She also gave him a hug before she went and stood beside Xia Sinian.
"It’s a sha that you and Sinian broke up." Ji Ruo sighed sadly.
"It is indeed. But that’s how life is. We move on." Li Bingbing smiled. "Sinian and I beca friends again, so as his friend, I am going to watch over him."
Xia Sinian frowned, they were talking as if he wasn’t there. He cleared his throat to remind them that he was there.
"Sinian! You should get her back! You should marry her-"
"Ah, I’m afraid that’s impossible, Madam Xia." Soone interrupted.
Lu Xian Yu walked towards them with a smile on his face. He held Li Bingbing’s hand and pulled her to him, hugging her. "Li Bingbing has already moved on and she is dating now so she can’t be with my brother-in-law."
The smile on Li Bingbing’s lips beca stiff. She was surprised by the words Lu Xian Yu spouted. This was sothing she has never expected him to do.
Xia Sinian was also surprised at this. Li Bingbing was with Lu Xian Yu?
Lu Xian Yu turned to Xia Sinian and smiled but his eyes were taunting Xia Sinian.
Ji Ruo sighed. She can’t do anything about it since it is Li Bingbing’s decision. "I have lost a wonderful daughter-in-law..."
"They are just dating, they’ll break up one day. Sinian, you should definitely try to get her back." Xia Jiamu pouted.
Xia Sinian was staring back at Lu Xian Yu for a short while, the tension between them was felt.
"D-don’t believe hi-"
Li Bingbing was cut off when Lu Xian Yu buried her face on his chest. She tried to push him away but Lu Xian Yu was too strong for her. She only stopped in surprise when she heard his next words.
"Li Bingbing’s mine." Lu Xian Yu said with a smile as he continued looking at Xia Sinian. "She’s not yours anymore."
Xia Sinian clenched his fists but he decided not to say anything. This is what he wanted, right? He wants Li Bingbing to love soone else, not him. He has ended their relationship for their sake, so why will he try and take her back?
"You can have the used rag. My interest in it has been long gone."
"Sinian!" Ji Ruo was surprised by Xia Sinian’s rude words.
Xia Sinian was the first to break eye contact from Lu Xian Yu. He turned and left the hall.
Li Bingbing’s lips stretched into a thin line as tears started spilling from her eyes.
Lu Xian Yu felt his chest becoming wet and he instantly knows that Li Bingbing was crying. This made him feel a pricking pain in his heart. She was crying for Xia Sinian again.
He turned to the Xia elders and smiled. "We’ll go have a look around now if you’ll excuse us." He turned away with Li Bingbing in his arms, her face was still buried on his chest as she cried.
The mont they left the food court, Li Bingbing pushed him away and gave him a hard slap on his cheek. "D*MN YOU, LU XIAN YU! Dating?! Yours?! WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT?!!"
She was glaring at him with her red and wet eyes. She was fuming hard because of what he did.
