After putting Little lon to sleep, Xia ilin went to his room’s balcony to get so fresh air.
Lu Yifeng has been gone for a few days now and she couldn’t help but miss him. He would call her once or twice a day.
Right now, she was waiting for his call since he hasn’t called her that day. She couldn’t help but start wondering if he beca so busy there. While she was thinking about how he was doing, her phone suddenly rang.
She quickly took it out of her pocket and checked on who was calling.
Just like she was expecting, it was Lu Yifeng. She gulped nervously and stared at it for a short while before she answered the call.
"Ah, Yifeng. Good evening." She greeted. She tried to sound as calm as possible.
"It’s afternoon here." His soft and deep chuckling voice was heard from the other line.
"Oh yeah... haha... so, um... why are you calling?" She wanted to scold herself after asking the question. She sounded like she doesn’t want him to call!
"Can’t I check on you and our son?"
The side of her lips curled up. "We’re doing good. Xiao Gua’s asleep right now."
"I see."
"Are you... coming back tomorrow?" She asked. "It’s our son’s birthday you know."
"Mm. I’ll be there, don’t worry."
"Should I... go and pick you up at the airport?"
With her question, Lu Yifeng ended up smiling, "Did you missed that much?"
She pursed her lips. Xia ilin didn’t want to admit to him that she does. "Never mind. I still have a lot to do here. I need to help in preparing for Xiao Gua’s birthday. His classmates are coming and so are their parents. We will have a lot of guests tomorrow... especially children."
"I know. I have already given Mo Jing orders about what’s need to be done. You don’t need to work too hard in preparing for it. Leave it to our servants."
"Okay... Will your... other family be attending?" She asked worriedly. She was sure that Jing Yue and Lu Xian Yu was going to attend. His father was already gone and the only other family that she hasn’t et was his grandfather.
"Yes. Mother has told that grandfather will co. He wants to et you and our son."
Xia ilin couldn’t help but get nervous. Will his grandfather be a scary person? But Jing Yue and Lu Xian Yu are really nice despite being a part of the Lu family so she can’t just judge him all at once without eting the old man.
"Don’t worry. He’ll love our son." As if knowing his wife’s worries, Lu Yifeng said this.
"And ?"
"He doesn’t have a choice but to accept you. You are already my wife. Besides, I have your back."
She chuckled at what he said. His words made her feel better. "Thank you. By the way, are you sure that you wanted to rent the whole aquarium park? Wouldn’t it be too expensive? Renting it for the whole day..."
"You have a rich husband and our son has a rich father, nothing is ’too expensive’ for ."
She rolled her eyes at his remark. "Oh right. How can I forget that?" She smiled softly. "Well then, Mr. Lu, thank you for preparing one big surprise for our son."
"No need to thank , Mrs. Lu. This is just a normal thing for to do for our family."
"Mm... anyway, I’ll go to bed now, it’s getting late." After she said this, she couldn’t help but yawn a bit. "Good night, Yifeng..."
"Good night."
Before Lu Yifeng can end the call, he heard a soft whisper from the other line, saying: "I miss you."
His eyes softened at this. "I miss you too."
Xia ilin couldn’t help but feel her face heating up. After the call ended she went back in the room and closed the balcony door. She was smiling from ear to ear as she walked towards Little lon’s bed.
She went and lied down beside her son and hugged him to her. She was so happy that mont that her sleepiness left her.

Being the birthday boy, Little lon was nicely dressed. He was wearing a white tuxedo and his hair was neatly combed to the side.
"Momma, why is dada not here yet?" Little lon couldn’t help but get sad. He was waiting for his father since morning and yet he was still not coming.
"Your dad just went to pass by sowhere. Don’t worry, he’ll co." Xia ilin knows that Lu Yifeng was going to head directly to where their son’s birthday party will take place.
They were inside the car, heading to the aquarium park. When they were close by, Xia ilin placed a blindfold to cover Little lon’s eyes.
"Momma, why do llo’s eyes need to be covered?" Little lon asked as he held her mother’s hand.
"Because we have prepared a surprise for you, sweetheart."
When the car stopped, Xia ilin went out while carrying Little lon in her arms.
"What kind of surprise is it, momma?" Little lon wanted to remove his blindfold but Xia ilin was keeping it in place.
She chuckled. "It won’t be a surprise anymore if I told you."
The aquarium park they were in right now was a world-class aquarium. Beijing Aquarium is the largest and most advanced inland aquarium in China. It has six halls: Rainforest Wonder, Shark Hall, Whale and Dolphin Bay, Seabed Travel, Feel Pool and Ocean Theater.
Xia ilin couldn’t help but be fascinated by the beautiful blue world when she entered it with Little lon.
There was no one around the place except for Su Lei who greeted them and lead them to the food court, where everybody was waiting.
Upon entering the food court, Xia ilin saw Lu Yifeng standing in the middle, wearing a navy blue suit. He was standing in front of a four-tier cake.
Xia ilin couldn’t help but smile. He was the only one that filled her sight.
Everyone was there, including Little lon’s classmates and teachers. Aside from that, Xia ilin and Lu Yifeng’s families were there. They were all quiet.
"You can take off the blindfold now, baby." Xia ilin whispered to her son.
Little lon excited removed his blindfold and opened his arms.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY LLO!!!" Everyone greeted at the sa ti the mont he opened his eyes.
