Chapter 236 - A promise is a promise

Thanks to her brother, Lu Xingyan was able to fall back to sleep. Every ti she had that nightmare, she couldn’t sleep again in fear of having the sa bad dream that night that’s why she would always stay up until the following morning.

The next day, she was supposed to sleep more when her sister barged in the room and destroyed her peaceful slumber.

"ii, gege, let’s go! Let’s go~" Lu Weichun was like a child, jumping on the bed, disturbing her siblings.

Thud!

Lu llo fell on the ground since he was sleeping at the end of the bed.

Lu Weichun ignored her grumpy gege who eyed her with a glare. "ii, wake up~ let’s go the market! Let’s accompany Nanny Mo~!"

The elder twin was in such a bright mood. That was not sothing new, she always had that kind of personality.

Lu Xingyan grumbled and finally, she hardly sat up, her hair was in a ss. "Jiejie, I want to sleep more. If you want to accompany Nanny Mo then go by yourself."

"Xiao Xing is right." Lu llo nodded his head, agreeing with his sister’s words.

Lu Xingyan turned to her brother only to see him lying down the floor, hugging a pillow. "What are you doing there?"

"I lost sothing, thanks to Xiao Chun."

She blinked a few tis, blinking the sleepiness out of her eyes. She asked, "What?"

"Balance."

Lu Xingyan: "..."

Lu Weichun: "..."

"I’m going back to sleep." The younger twin lay down and hugged a pillow as she faced her back to her sister. She closed her eyes as she tried to fall back to sleep.

"ii!" Lu Weichun slapped her butt. "Co on!"

The slap startled poor Xingyan. She turned to her sister with a glare in her eyes. Through gritted teeth, she carefully threatened, "Do you want to tell gege about him?"

"What do you an ’him’?" Lu llo stood up, dusting off his butt.

In an instant, Lu Weichun’s good mood was altered. The bright look on her face changed in the next second.

Lu Xingyan was satisfied with the look that her sister was giving her. She snickered inwardly before she turned away and closed her eyes, "Nothing. I was just saying nonsense."

Although Lu llo didn’t fall for that. He also noticed the change of expression in Lu Weichun’s face. "Xiao Chun."

"Since gege and ii are still sleepy, I’ll just go with Nanny Mo alone!" She hurriedly left the room, escaping her brother’s inquiring gaze.

Lu llo sighed heavily. Sothing was fishy between his sisters. His guts were telling him that they were hiding sothing from him.

"Xiao Xing."

Lu Xingyan, who was still awake, pretended to be in a deep sleep already.

In the end, Lu llo wasn’t able to do anything about them.

"If you won’t tell , then I guess I have to look for the answers myself, huh?"

Dammit. Why does she have a smart brother?

Since she created the problem, it was only normal for her to solve it.

Ah... She only wanted to have more sleep...

She sat up and turned to her brother. "You have to promise first."

"What?" He crossed his arms. His expression beca serious.

"Promise first."

"I can’t promise anything when you’re not telling what to promise." Lu llo knew his sister’s tactics, he wasn’t going to fall for it.

"Then fine. I’m not going to tell you." She crossed her arms, huffing.

"I can just look for it."

"But you won’t be able to get that all at once." She smiled. "Let give you an estimation... One month. You won’t be able to know who ’he’ is for one month."

All she has to do was to stop Lu Weichun from eting her boyfriend for one month. It was not a bad idea but she also knew her sister well. She was not going to sit still. Lu Weichun will surely et her boyfriend behind her back!

Lu Xingyan was just bluffing about the estimation ti but she needed to have her brother’s words that’s why she set a trap to him by intentionally ntioning ’he’.

Just as she expected, Lu llo was triggered when he heard the word ’he’.

A man. They were really talking about a man.

"Fine, I promise."

She showed her pinky finger to him, "Pinky promise!"

Her brother sighed heavily. He went to her and wrapped his pinky finger around hers, "I promise."

"You are not allowed to take back your words." She was looking straight into his eyes.

"I never break promises, Xiao Xing."

Lu Xingyan smiled victoriously, "Good. Gege promises not to tell dad anything."

Huh?

She unwrapped her pinky finger from his and pulled her hand away. "A promise is a promise. Keep your word."

"What’s dad has to do in this?" He asked, confused.

"We’re keeping a secret from everyone. Since I know that llo-gege is dad’s faithful ally, I have to make you promise first."

Ah... His sister was really being careful.

"Fine. Since I have already given you my word, just tell it to already."

"Lu Weichun has a boyfriend."

Lu llo stood still on the side, shocked at his sister’s revelation. "W-what?"

She smiled at him, "Keep it, okay?"

"Seriously?!"

"Gege, I already promised to tell you. Do you think I’m lying right now?" She crossed her arms, pouting.

"B-but... She’s too young! That man must be a pedophile! We can’t just allow her to date!"

"..." Her brother was overreacting again...

"Xiao Xing, we cannot allow this! Xiao Chun is too young to date!"

The urge to roll her eyes was great. They were already graduating high school. Teens their age were already dating.

Well... Considering Lu Weichun’s personality... She was childish and innocent so Lu Xingyan couldn’t agree more to her brother’s words.

Lu llo was burning in fury just by thinking of the man who manipulated his poor baby sister.

"Tell his na. I’m going to beat the shit out of him!"

Lu Xingyan sighed. She massaged her forehead. Why does she have troubleso siblings? She’s the only normal child in the family.

"Gege, you have to calm down."

"How can I calm down?!"

Ah... It really was a mistake to tell him.

"Gege, calm down." She sternly said as she turned her gaze to him. "Or else, I won’t tell you the rest of it."
