In the demon realm.

Inside the grand throne hall, a figure appeared out of thin air and landed on the floor, the darkness binding her as a captive, released her, and sucked back by the black stone hung in the air.

Oriana, shocked and exhausted at the sa ti, panted heavily as she lay on her stomach on the ancient looking cold stone floor. She felt like she had gone through heavy labor to even lift her finger at the mont. All she rembered was that she was about to be marked by Arlan and suddenly a powerful force disturbed the ceremony just on ti.

’Where am I?’ She opened her eyes and tried to sit up on the floor with her hands pressed against the cold floor for support, her long hair disheveled as it covered the sides of her face entirely.

She could feel the different essence in the air, a familiar one- Demon realm.

’That rock truly brought here,’ she looked around the empty stone hall with majestic pillars, which was shining with a mild sunlight. As if chill ran down her spine, she felt soone’s presence in the throne hall and raised her gaze up to look ahead as if passed those few stairs and then moved towards the grand throne carved out of the black rock with red vines glowing like a sh.

The majestic throne was not empty, but a towering figure clad in dark royal looking clothes was sitting on it, with its eyes closed.

’Who is he?’

Just then a man opened his eyes, his pitch dark irises as if piercing her soul.

"My Esray," his dignified heavy voice echoed inside the empty throne, "Finally you ca back to . I knew you would."

A threatening shiver ran her entire body, making her weaker than before. It was the sa voice that threatened her in her nightmares for all her life. Even when she did not have nightmares, this voice never stopped ringing in at the back of her head, scaring her as if one day soone would co for her and take her away from everything she cherished.

Seems like that fear has just co true.

The man stood up from the throne, his tall figure visible to her eyes, he seed taller and robust than any man she had ever seen in the human realm. Are Demon’s supposed to be taller than humans?

A powerful darkness surrounded him, as if he was showing his authority over everything around, including her and subconsciously Oriana found herself being submitted to that darkness. His steps echoed in the throne hall as he walked towards her. Oriana, scared, wished to go away but she could not, she was exhausted to even stand up.

Snowflake had brought her to the Demon realm before, but she did not feel exhausted but why now. She understood Snowflake had protected her with her powers, and now she missed her.

’I wish Snowflake was here. I would have ran away right away.’

The figure towered over her while Oriana was still letting in half lying form, her hands against the floor, helping her to prop her head up while her legs were still lay half folded on the floor, which shrank back to her body as she felt him approaching her.

The man knelt next to her, Oriana felt like shrinking away sowhere even in the tiniest hole she could find.

"Don’t be scared," his voice felt heavy to her hearing senses, maybe because he was a powerful demon and they have different dynamics in this realm. His presence next to her is powerful, making her unable to move. She did not dare look at him, keeping the sides of her face hidden with her long hair.

"You are not in a stranger place. You are back ho, back to ," he spoke again, his large hand moving to her face.

Oriana shark away from his touch but could barely move an inch when she felt his warm fingers’ touch against the cold skin of her cheek, her breath quickened with fear.

She had always been fearless and rebellious and would not hesitate to retort to anything she didn’t like, she didn’t even spare Arlan, a powerful Dragon, but in front of this Demon, she could not act this way. Why? She didn’t know. She hated to be able to like this, not being able to keep this demon in his place.

His fingers brushed the hair strands away from her cheek and all those falling hair behind her shoulder gently, his gaze stuck at the side of her face.

"Look at , Esray." His voice felt like a command to her but she did her best to not obey him, she didn’t turn her face.

As if the man didn’t mind, he held her chin and made her look at him, her fear filled hazel eyes looking into his scary looking dark irises. His expressions still, as he observed her face. "You look just like before, as beautiful as you have always been."

Oriana gritted her teeth at his touch but she was weak to move, but she gathered courage and asked. "Who are you?"

"Your demon," he replied calmly, "and you are my demoness."

Oriana felt like her blood boiling with how he said it, almost claiming her as his.

"I am not yours," she said, "Let go."

His gaze remained still on her, not affected by her words. "I know you rember nothing at the mont, that’s why you said this. But do not worry. I would help you regain your mories. Once you do, you would know, you belong to ."

"I belong to soone else. I am married," she spoke. "He would not like to know his wife is being called by so other man as his."

He still remained unaffected, "It’s my fault for not being able to bring you here sooner. That must have ended up with you marrying in the human realm, but I do not mind. We do not consider marriage in the human realm as those are nothing but empty vows unlike us demons where our souls are bound to each other for eternity."
