"Your Highness!"

Behind the Queen stood a group of Heavenly Demons who had just received the news and arrived. Seeing the traces of the escaping ti traveler, they each looked puzzled.

"Why did you let him go?"

"Do I need to explain my actions to you?" The Queen replied coldly without turning her head.

The Heavenly Demons said nothing, but they beca even more cautious in their hearts.

Before they ca, the Prophet had warned them that ever since the Queen succeeded in being born, the enemy had no chance of victory.

However, there was a hidden danger, and that hidden danger was the Queen herself.

To win, they concentrated too many resources on a single creature, but if the Queen herself had issues, it would be catastrophic.

So the original plan was that after completing her mission, the Queen should return to her own universe to hibernate to reduce resource consumption.

But this world has been conquered for two years, and the Queen has shown no intention of going back, indicating she’s sowhat out of control. And now she has behaved abnormally by letting that ti traveler go. It seems things are a bit beyond the Prophet’s control.

They need to inform the Prophet as soon as possible.

The Queen looked at them, her expression unchanged, but there was a hint of coldness in her eyes.

She could devour other species and gain so of their abilities. She wasn’t particularly adept at using strange powers from other beings, but so functions were usable.

For example... that guy nad Ali, her ability was quite useful, though it was a pity she couldn’t fully devour and utilize it.

But it wasn’t without gain; although she couldn’t alter others’ mories like Ali or read their thoughts, she could clearly sense the attitudes of those around her.

Whether it was goodwill, admiration, or malice.

Just now, she clearly felt that those subordinates were wary and malicious towards her.

After devouring Ali, she suddenly realized that most of her subordinates harbored malice towards her. After so reflection, she understood: her resource consumption in one day was countless tis theirs. The resources given to her were barely enough for daily consumption, while for them, they could advance further. They still had room to grow, but she didn’t anymore.

Giving resources to her was wasteful, so they were all hoping for her to hibernate.

But why should she let them?

In the past, she would not defy the will of the Main Universe, but as she devoured more species from this universe, she gradually developed her own thoughts. Why should she submit to the Main Universe’s ideology?

She was already powerful enough, and even if the Main Universe concentrated resources again, it would be hard to create another being like her. She was the strongest, and even if they banded together to deal with her, it would be difficult to defeat her.

So why... should she submit?

Why should she hibernate?

Why should she give resources to the weak?

What use would it be for them to beco stronger?

There were no enemies outside anymore. Did they think they could catch up to her?

Ridiculous!

The Queen sneered and disappeared without explaining anything.

The guards looked extrely grim.

They tried to sense, but the Queen had completely disappeared from their perception. Her speed was entirely beyond their reach. If she wished, she could appear in unexpected locations at any ti.

How could such a monster be controlled?

Right now, she showed no intention of hibernating and continued to expand her energy. The Prophet had said that her existence was already the limit of the world, and further expansion was aningless, but she kept going, continuing to expand her resources.

If this continued, other species would eventually be left without resources.

The Prophet was right, once this being lost control, the consequences would be extrely serious!

"Quick, I need to see Chen Qing!"

Old Liu rushed out of the room after returning, and seeing him suddenly erge from seclusion, all the Buddhas, including the Victorious Fighting Buddha, were bewildered.

Especially the Victorious Fighting Buddha, because before Old Liu went into seclusion, he had spoken to him in a rather pessimistic manner.

Originally, he thought that even if Old Liu returned, it should take him a long ti to adjust his mindset. After all, even the Past Buddha had collapsed, and no matter how strong-minded Old Liu was, he should have been affected.

Yet, unexpectedly, he erged looking this agitated.

"Boss, over on that side... what exactly is it?"

"Don’t ask yet, imdiately notify Chen Qing!"

"Oh, alright!"

--------------------------------------

"Old Liu wants to see ?" Chen Qing was startled when he received the news, initially suspecting it could be a sche, but the other party ntioned a crisis one year from now.

One year...

The term made Chen Qing’s heart skip a beat.

That day, when dealing with the Future Buddha, the other side seed to say sothing about one year too!

Is there sothing even more terrifying in store a year later?

At first, he thought it was Xing Tian, as that was the most troubleso monster he could think of. Later, he believed it might be the Prophet, but even though the Prophet is formidable, the Heavenly Demon Army’s invasion shouldn’t be that quick, right?

If the army were invading the universe and about to reach here, wouldn’t the world consciousness notify him?

Considering this, he hesitated for a mont but finally decided to et Old Liu.

But just as he made the decision, he heard from his subordinates that Old Liu had co in person.

Seeing how urgent Old Liu seed, not waiting for him to decide whether to go over, Chen Qing felt it might indeed be sothing significant.

Fifteen minutes later:

"Old Liu, let’s get straight to the point. Why are you in such a hurry this ti? Did sothing happen?"

The one accompanying him was the Saint Victorious Combat Fighting Buddha, a top fighter from the Buddha Kingdom. But even so, on his own turf, if he had any bad intentions, it would be difficult for both of them to leave unscathed.

Old Liu quickly explained the gist of the situation.

"A year from now, are you saying it will be a monster that has rged with nearly half of the Heavenly Demon Universe?" Even soone as composed as him was shocked at this mont.

He also heard from Xing Tian that they had an irresistible being who had set off long ago. However, unlike those who could cross space through rules, these demons relying on their power weren’t projections but needed to travel with their physical bodies, which could take many years.

Even if Elder Long and others had wasted three Eras, it still wouldn’t be enough for those creatures to arrive, right?

In the setting of Pu Yun River, there indeed was a plot of a final battle with the Heavenly Demons.

But that was all for the grand finale when all the projected Heavenly Demons had been dealt with by the players, and the last ssage was that the real Heavenly Demon Army was still on its long journey, just like the Trisolarans, still on a long trek. But in the future, you would face a universe’s war machine.

According to that ending, Chen Qing rembered that it would be billions of years later. Once these projected demons were dealt with, this world would have at least one or two more Eras to prepare, right?

How could it possibly be arriving in just one year?

"I know you are very surprised, but that monster’s abilities might surpass your understanding. If it goes beyond light speed, just one individual could wipe us all out, don’t you think?"

Chen Qing: "...."
