The young lady in red nodded her thanks and quickly walked into the small courtyard, heading straight for Jason.

"Master Mu, sothing has happened.”

"Please co with .”

The young lady in red wasted no ti and spoke directly.

After speaking, the young lady in red walked out, and Jason exchanged a glance with Dou Bao before the two followed.

Passing through the central courtyard of ‘Si Hai Bang’, the three quickly arrived at a secluded place.

Seeing the heavily guarded surroundings, a strange look flashed in Jason’s eyes.

It wasn’t because of the nurous guards; this place was usually heavily guarded.

It was because this place was where ‘Great Dragon Head’ Cui Long was in seclusion.

Did sothing happen to Cui Long?

Jason and Dou Bao both had this thought arise in their minds.

Then they continued to follow the young lady in red forward.

The further they went, the fewer guards there were.

By the ti they reached the innermost chamber, there was no one left at all.

"Master Mu, Miss Dou Bao, please remain calm and do not shout out.

The young lady in red cautioned.

Jason and Dou Bao nodded slightly.

The earnestness of the young lady in red had already caused a conjecture to form in Jason and Dou Bao’s minds.

As the two entered the chamber, their suspicions were confird.

Sothing did indeed happen to Cui Long!

The chamber where Cui Long was in seclusion was similar to a room in Jason’s martial arts school, extrely simply arranged, with almost no dcor except for a large ditation cushion.

At this mont, Cui Long was sitting cross-legged on the cushion, his head slightly drooping, a short sword pierced through his back.

The sword tip protruded from his chest.

Blood dripped along the blade.

Even the famous ‘Great Dragon Head’ couldn’t survive with his heart pierced.

Cui Long had long lost all signs of life.

Next to Cui Long lay a young woman in light green clothing, with her hand grasping the sword’s scabbard, the long sword was impaled in Cui Long’s body, and there was a handprint between her chest and abdon.

No comparison was needed; Jason could tell that this handprint was made by Cui Long.

Based on what he saw, a scene almost imdiately ford in Jason’s mind: ‘this female assassin ca to assassinate Cui Long, piercing his heart with one sword, only to be struck to the ground by one of Cui Long’s palms.’

Jason was not alone in this thought.

Dou Bao evidently thought the sa.

The young lady in red, Cui Long’s daughter, naturally was no exception.

At this mont, Cui Long’s daughter, with reddened eyes and a slightly rounder face, was glaring at this unconscious woman through gritted teeth.

Although she didn’t know who the woman was.

Cui Long’s daughter wished she could skin and dismber her.

A father’s death is an enmity that cannot coexist!

However, Cui Long’s daughter knew that now was not the ti.

She needed to inquire about the woman’s identity.

And the mastermind behind this!

That’s right, the mastermind!

Cui Long’s daughter couldn’t believe the woman ca to kill her father for no reason, there must have been a mastermind behind it, furthermore, it must have taken great resources to make her act.

Successfully assassinating her father was enough to prove her strength.

Being able to freely move in and out of ‘Si Hai Bang’, avoiding all the hidden sentries, she must be very familiar with this place.

Almost instinctively, Cui Long’s daughter thought of the remnants of ‘Hall of Law Enforcent’ and the ‘Hall of External Affairs.’

Could it be they hired an assassin?

Were there any accomplices among them inside the gang?

Because of such a thought, Cui Long’s daughter did not alarm others and brought Jason over alone.

She couldn’t trust others.

Exhaling deeply, adjusting her emotions, Cui Long’s daughter tried to speak as calmly as possible.

"Master Mu, I…”

Cui Long’s daughter uttered Jason’s na, but couldn’t get the rest of the words out.

The words were stuck in her throat.

The young lady in red stepped forward and gently patted Cui Long’s daughter’s back.

A mont later, after regaining her composure, Cui Long’s daughter made a hand gesture towards Jason.

The aning couldn’t have been clearer.

Jason nodded in understanding.

Seeing Jason nodded, Cui Long’s daughter walked towards the fallen female assassin,

The woman had already been shackled by the young lady in red.

Cui Long’s daughter checked and fed two pellets into the woman’s mouth.

One elixir for healing.

One elixir was poison.

Not the type that acts imdiately, but without the antidote, once the poison acts, the victim would wish for death over life.

Then, taking the black iron chain from the young lady in red, Cui Long’s daughter tightly bound the woman.

Facing a formidable opponent who could assassinate her father, Cui Longnu would not be careless.

An extra layer of restraint is just an extra layer of insurance.

After ten breaths.

The female assassin lying on the ground woke up.

From confusion to alertness, it only took a mont.

No struggle, no shouting.

She scanned everything in the chamber with a remarkably calm gaze.

Her gaze passed over Cui Longnu, Miss Hong Xiu, Dou Bao, and finally stopped on Jason.

It wasn’t a fleeting pause.

She was staring straight at Jason.

Very clearly, without hiding it.

The next mont, she spoke—

"As expected…”

After speaking those two words, her voice beca nearly imperceptible.

Or more accurately, she sealed her lips and said nothing more.

Otherwise, with Jason’s perception, at such a close distance, he would have been able to hear it even if it was a faint sound.

This scene caught everyone’s attention.

Including Jason’s.

She knows (Master Mu). .

Everyone thought so.

Cui Longnu was even more puzzled, could Master Mu be related to this female assassin? Could it be…

Before the thought could fully form, Cui Longnu shook her head to dispel it from her mind.

Then, Cui Longnu glared angrily at the female assassin.

"You not only assassinated my father.

Now you want to use this thod to sow discord between us?

Do you think we’ll fall for it?”

Cui Longnu said furiously.

"Even though I’ve killed many people, I didn’t kill your father.

I’m innocent.

I’ve been frad.”

The female assassin spoke calmly, and such a calm tone completely enraged Cui Longnu, a small knife appeared in Cui Longnu’s hand, her personal knife.

Usually used to cut herbs.

Those dried herbs, being extrely tenacious, could be easily cut, naturally very sharp.

Using it to cut flesh would be extrely easy.

Facing the knife-wielding Cui Longnu, the female assassin remained extrely calm.

"What you are doing now is exactly what the real killer of your father wants to see. They hope you will torture , or simply kill , because, they know very well, as long as you do this, I will definitely be at odds with you endlessly, and furthermore…”

"Shut up!

You’ve been poisoned and are restrained here, yet you still speak so arrogantly?!”

The female assassin’s attitude even angered Miss Hong Xiu, who directly interrupted her words.

The female assassin looked at Miss Hong Xiu all the sa.

The corner of her mouth twitched.

That was a smile.

A smile full of disdain.

Then, without waiting for Miss Hong Xiu to react, she looked at Jason once again.

It was a scrutinizing, probing gaze.

"Is it you?”

"It wasn’t .”

"Then why am I here?”

"Don’t know.”

"Then why did you appear in front of first?”

"Cui Long King is dead.”

"You also think I killed him.”

"You didn’t kill him.”

The woman asked, and Jason answered.

When Jason said it wasn’t the woman who killed him, a glimr of brilliance flashed in her eyes.

"Do you know who did it?”

"Don’t know.”

"Then why are you sure I didn’t do it? It’s possible everything that just happened is exactly as Cui Longnu said, that I’m laying down a smokescreen.”

"You couldn’t kill Cui Long King.”

"Why couldn’t I kill Cui Long King? Are you underestimating ?”

Displeasure appeared on the female assassin’s face.

"Due to the disparity in strength.”

Jason answered in an even calr tone than the female assassin, then, after a slight pause, he said, “Compared to your martial skills, your wontons are better.”
