Shimizu-san and the Werewolf Ga 3
“So close… Why did those who voted for decide to vote?”
“The first ti I suspected sothing was when three people raised their hands and then Sakata-senpai lowered his.”
“What, from that point?!”
I can’t imagine Sakata-senpai intentionally causing chaos.
I figured he must have been pretending to be a Seer as a Madman, but when the Werewolf raised their hand too, he panicked and lowered his hand.
“So you thought the werewolf was either or Kei?”
“Yes. And then, after that, I thought Ai-senpai, who called a werewolf, was the actual Werewolf.”
Seto-san had thought it through that much.
I hadn’t suspected Yousuke-san at all.
“Why didn’t you share this reasoning before the vote?”
“I doubted anyone would believe if I said Sakata-senpai was the Madman, and there really wasn’t a good mont to speak up. I think Ai-senpai and Sakata-senpai were trying to prevent from rebutting.”
“That makes sense. They were trying to keep Seto from talking as much as possible.”
“It was a futile effort though. Kei, was your reason the sa?”
All eyes turned to Shimizu-san.
“O-of course I knew that was the case…”
Her eyes were darting around.
Anyone could see the truth.
“Kei-san, you’re busted.”
Our gazes t again, and Shimizu-san nodded silently.
“That’s right! It was a hunch, but from my perspective, Ai really did seem suspicious!”
“That may be true, but…”
Ai-san seed slightly exasperated.
“By the way, what about you, Daiki-kun? I thought you were listening to Yousuke’s explanation and would vote for Mio-chan.”
“I was planning to until halfway through…”
“What changed your mind?”
“It was when Shimizu-san said Ai-san was the werewolf at the end.”
“That mont!? You didn’t think Kei was just saying sothing random in desperation?”
Indeed, that possibility had actually existed.
“Shimizu-san didn’t seem like she was lying. And besides…”
“And besides?”
“I thought it would be okay even if I were to be deceived by Shimizu-san.”
“Wha?!”
Everyone naturally looked in the direction of the voice.
There was Shimizu-san, her face turning red.
“I see. So Yousuke and I lost to Daiki-kun’s big love?”
“What’s this ‘big love’ you’re talking about!”
“I didn’t say who it was for, did I?”
“Youu!”
Shimizu-san glared at Ai-san as if she were her sworn enemy, but it seed to have no effect.
“Anyway, a loss is a loss. Let’s accept the penalty ga gracefully!”
“Please go easy on .”
It seed like it was ti to think of a penalty ga.
That’s right, with this combination…
“I’ve got it!”
Shimizu-san pointed at Ai-san with fiery eyes.
I wonder if Shimizu-san really understood the situation. I was a little worried.
“During the sumr festival, go sowhere deserted with Yousuke and take a picture!”
Good, she hadn’t forgotten to make sure Yousuke-san and Ai-san would be alone together.
Ai-san, upon hearing the penalty ga from Shimizu-san, looked dumbfounded for a mont.
“Ah, is that really okay? I was sure you’d tell to do handstands and run around the inn ten tis or sothing…”
“What do you take for?”
“I don’t mind at all, but what about Mio-chan and Daiki-kun? Are you two okay with that?”
“Yes.”
“I’m fine with it too.”
Well, aside from Ai-san, everyone else probably wanted to leave Yousuke-san and Ai-san alone during the festival, so there wouldn’t be any objections.
“Then it’s decided… Alright, Yousuke, let’s go take so ghost pictures in a deserted place!”
“Don’t add conditions that weren’t specified.”
Ai-san seed a bit disappointed but didn’t seem suspicious.
It looks like the first hurdle of the confession was cleared.
“Now that the penalty ga is decided, shall we start the second round of the Penalty Ga Werewolf?”
“We’re still going?”
“Of course! I’ll pass around my smartphone again for role confirmation!”
If everyone suggested stopping the Werewolf Ga now, Ai-san might beco suspicious.
Whether everyone thought the sa or not, no objections were raised, and the second round of the Werewolf Ga was about to begin.
***
“Everyone’s checked their roles, right? Then let’s start the second round of the Penalty Ga Werewolf!”
“Does anyone have sothing to report?”
I raised my hand.
My role this ti was the Madman.
I was scared to raise my hand with the Werewolf like before, but if only the Seer ca forward and correctly identified the Werewolf, the ga would end.
Looking around, the only other person with their hand up besides was Seto-san.
“Seto and Hondō-kun, huh? Who will speak first?”
“I’ll speak first.”
“Then I’ll speak after.”
Since I didn’t know who the Werewolf was, it would be easier for to act after hearing the real Seer’s divination.
I hadn’t paid attention before, but maybe that’s why Ai-san let Shimizu-san go first earlier.
“Alright. Seto, please go ahead.”
“I divined Shimizu-san and she’s black.”
“What?”
Ah, this might be over.
“It’s not !”
“Calm down. It’s not decided that you’re the one yet. Let’s hear what Hondō-kun has to say.”
What should I do?
Since I’m the fake Seer, Seto-san must be the real one.
If Seto-san says so, Shimizu-san is almost certainly the Werewolf.
To sohow turn this around…
“Hondō-kun?”
“…I divined Ai-san and found she’s black!”
“What did you say?!”
The flow was heading in the sa direction as before, so I needed to call soone black.
After so hesitation, I decided to declare Ai-san as the Werewolf.
“This is bad. If it goes like this…”
“Hey, Yousuke! I’m not black!”
“I’m pure white too! Pure as snow!”
“…This is how it’s going to be. Ai and Seto will vote for Kei, Kei and Hondō-kun will vote for Ai, so in the end, it all cos down to who I vote for.”
Even if Yousuke-san votes for or Seto-san, it will go to a tiebreaker vote, so Yousuke-san will be forced to vote for either Shimizu-san or Ai-san.
“I’d like to believe Seto since she first declared soone black in the divination results, but…”
“Seto could easily tell a big lie!”
“That’s right. Seto has an iron heart, so she can say it without changing her expression…”
“I won’t deny it. So, in the end, it’s up to Sakata-senpai to decide whether you believe Ai-senpai or Shimizu-san.”
“Don’t pass all the responsibility to .”
“No, all the responsibility this ti is on Yousuke!”
“Why are you on the side that’s cornering others?”
Why does Ai-san, who must be a villager this ti, seem suspicious?
“Anyway, believe in , Yousuke! Vote for Kei!”
“Don’t trust this guy! Vote for Ai!”
It’s like whispers from an angel and a devil.
The tricky part for Yousuke-san is not knowing which is the angel and which is the devil.
