Shimizu-san and the Training Camp Plan 3
“Yay! Now we can all go to the camp together!”
“Enough already! I get it, so let go of ! You’re too hot and clingy!”
Shimizu-san forcefully pulled Ai-san off of her.
“Kei, you are such a shy one. Well, that solves the problem, and now all we have to do is work part-ti to save up for the trip!”
“No, there are still problems left.”
“What are you talking about, Yousuke-san? We’ve got the agreent of all the club mbers, and it looks like we’ll be able to solve the money issue!”
“That’s just a small part of the problems that will arise for going to the camp. For example, we need to decide on part-ti jobs and get permission from everyone’s parents by explaining about the camp since we’re going as high school students alone. There are many things to do, like deciding on accommodations and figuring out public transportation for the trip.”
“Ahhhh…”
Ai-san’s smile faded once again.
“For now, we need to decide on part-ti jobs urgently. There are too many things we can’t decide on until we know how much travel money we can secure.”
“That’s true…”
“Leave it to !”
Ai-san, who had sohow recovered her spirits, thumped her chest confidently.
“What are you planning to do?”
“I’ll make full use of my social connections and introduce part-ti jobs that suit each person!”
“I see. That’s a good idea.”
“Are you just making this up on the spot?”
“No-no, not at all. For example, I could introduce Mio-chan to a part-ti job at a wagashi shop.”
“A wagashi shop!”
Seto-san’s expression was as usual, but I felt a brief sparkle in her eyes.
“You just care about anything related to dorayaki, don’t you?”
“Working close to what you love boosts motivation. It’s only natural.”
“Just make sure you don’t start snacking on the rchandise.”
“For Yousuke… how about a part-ti job at a bookstore?”
“It feels like you’re suddenly making random suggestions compared to Seto… well, I am interested though.”
“Then it’s decided! Now we just need to figure out Kei and Daiki-kun…”
Ai-san crossed her arms and took on a thoughtful pose.
“Hey, I did say I’d join the camp, but I didn’t say I was going to do any part-ti work!”
“Kei, lend your ear for a mont.”
With that, Ai-san quickly moved next to Shimizu-san and whispered sothing in her ear.
“Don’t you think that’s not too bad?”
Ai-san had a mischievous smile on her face.
“…Well, I might as well give it a try if that’s the case.”
I wonder what kind of conditions Ai-san offered to Shimizu-san. And why does Shimizu-san keep glancing at ?
“Getting back to the topic, what should we do about the part-ti jobs for the two of you…”
“If there are no options, I’ll look for one myself.”
“It’s not that there aren’t any options. It’s just a bit difficult because of certain conditions… Ah!”
“What did you just co up with?”
Shimizu-san looked as if she had tasted sothing bitter.
“Kei, Daiki-kun, are you interested in working at a cafe?”
“A cafe?”
“Yes, there’s a cafe where my senpai, Kaho-san, is working part-ti, and it seems they’re short-staffed. They might be willing to hire both Kei and Daiki-kun together!”
“I see…”
“Wait, you don’t like that?”
“It’s not like that. I was just wondering why you chose the sa cafe for Shimizu-san’s part-ti job and mine.”
“The reason is simple: I’m worried about Kei. She has a habit of bottling things up to herself, so I want soone who can support her nearby while she works. Well, Kaho-san is there too, so I think it’ll be fine.”
Indeed, Shimizu-san had previously gone alone to the gymnasium to et a senpai without telling anyone and got caught up in trouble.
Ai-san must be worried that sothing might happen to Shimizu-san again when she’s out of sight.
“You worry too much. I can handle a part-ti job without anyone’s help.”
“There you go acting tough again. Daiki-kun, it would be fun to work part-ti together with Kei, right?”
“Y-yes.”
I nodded involuntarily at Ai-san’s sudden pass.
“Don’t force him to say it. Hondō must be troubled.”
“I was surprised to be asked so suddenly, but I’m not troubled. Besides, it’s my first part-ti job, so I’d be happy to work with you, Shimizu-san.”
“Hondō, you always…”
“See, Daiki-kun also wants to work part-ti with you, Kei!”
“…I guess I’m okay with that then.”
“It’s settled then!”
“It’s not confird if we’ll be hired yet, but it’s good that we’ve at least decided on a place for everyone’s part-ti job.”
“Alright, let’s all work hard at our part-ti jobs for the Astronomy Club training camp! Ei-ei-oh!”
“Oh!”
Thus, the Astronomy Club began its activities in preparation for the sumr camp.

“Hey, Kei, open up, please.”
On the night that the Astronomy Club’s sumr camp plans were set in motion, I heard Ai’s voice along with a knock on the door just as I was thinking about going to sleep.
I thought about ignoring it for a mont, but that would just an postponing the trouble until tomorrow, so I reluctantly decided to open the door.
“What is it?”
When I opened the door, there stood Ai in her pajamas.
“Can you talk with for a bit?”
“I was about to go to sleep.”
“Just for a little while! Ten minutes, no, fifteen minutes, and we’ll be done!”
“Don’t extend it, seriously. Keep it within ten minutes.”
“Roger!”
While I suspected it wouldn’t end in ten minutes, I reluctantly let Ai into my room.
“So, what did you want to talk about?”
“Well, you see…”
“Get to the point.”
“It’s great that you’ll be able to work at the sa place as Daiki-kun!”
“That’s what this is about…”
When I said I didn’t feel like taking a job, Ai whispered to that she would arrange for to work at the sa place as Hondō.
If it ant more chances to et Hondō outside of school, I had no choice but to accept it.
“Don’t expect any thanks. It’s your sudden plan that got us into this ss of having to work in the first place.”
“No need for thanks. Just take this opportunity to get closer to Daiki-kun!”
“Well, I get it.”
“Good! And Kei, I’ll co to check if you are working properly at the job when I find so free ti!”
“Don’t you dare co!”
If Ai showed up at my workplace, it definitely wouldn’t lead to anything good.
“No, I’ll definitely co. Kei, the cafe uniform at your workplace is super cute, so I have to see you in that cafe uniform with my own eyes!”
“I’ll kick you out instantly if you co!”
“Unfortunately, part-tir Kei-san has no such authority. You’ll just have to be content being a feast for my eyes!”
“Grrr…”
“The fun before the training camp has just increased! Wait, Kei-san, what’s with that stance?”
“I’ll bury you right here before you ever set foot in the workplace again!”
“Hey, no violence!”
In the end, it wasn’t until the clock’s hands had passed midnight that I successfully managed to get Ai out of the room.
