Chapter 280: Chapter 21: The Fallen Noble Lady
The two stood still, at this mont, Lou Sha steadied herself and helped Tianmiao stand firm as well. Lou Sha, stunned, looked at the mirror, witnessing a horrifying scene.
The faceless blood-covered figure she had seen before in the blood pool—her! She was looking in the mirror!
Was the previous scene an illusion? What about this current scene? Is it an illusion too? Lou Sha frowned, quickly pondering. Initially believing it to be an illusion, the subsequent events made her sure that a witch was manipulating things behind the scenes in this castle. Hence, she was unsure which parts were real and which were illusions.
While Lou Sha was contemplating, the person in the mirror continued her actions.
One... two. The blood-covered face now had two eyeballs; she was facing the mirror, attempting to place the eyeballs in ideal positions, but without eye sockets, she couldn’t insert them and could only hang them on her face.
Next was the nose, then the mouth...
Lou Sha reached out to cover Tianmiao’s eyes and whispered, "Don’t look. Let
think of a way."
"This ti, let ." Tianmiao removed Lou Sha’s hands from her eyes and said softly. Such a scene was absent in her original world; could it be caused by her presence? If so, then it was all right for her to act.
"Huh? You have a way?" Lou Sha asked.
"Breaking the mirror will dispel this witchcraft," Tianmiao whispered.
"How do you know? Ah, I forgot your family knows so magical spells?" Lou Sha exclaid in a low voice, "Tell
what to do."
"Wait." Tianmiao whispered.
"Wait for what?" Lou Sha asked.
"Help
move this cabinet over here first." Tianmiao said.
Lou Sha aided Tianmiao in relocating the cabinet they had just hidden behind. Then Tianmiao stood still.
After a while, the large mirror shifted its direction, and this ti, they saw the door they ca through before.
Now, with Lou Sha’s curious gaze upon her, Tianmiao retreated backward to the wall, then accelerated forward, kicking the massive cabinet toward the mirror.
Crash...
The mirror shattered.
Watching Tianmiao’s bold movent, Lou Sha was speechless for a while with her mouth open. Finally, she said, "I should have done the rough work." Lou Sha was a bit annoyed. How could a delicate and beautiful Eastern princess be made to do such things?
Tianmiao looked at the slightly perturbed Lou Sha with mixed feelings. This young girl, she was perfect in every way. So brave, intelligent, and calm, yet she was indeed a die-hard beauty lover. In such a dangerous environnt, she was still fretting about letting her do sothing so rough, still cherishing the dainty beauties. What could Tianmiao say to that?
Accompanied by the sound of shattering glass, a giant black hole replaced the broken mirror.
Tianmiao turned around, holding the still puzzled Lou Sha, and the two walked into the black hole together.
The observing nobles were all thrilled.
The performance of these two young girls was truly outstanding!
The King, even more excited, said to Andophin, "Go, bring that Eastern girl to ! Go now." Under the firelight that illuminated the room earlier, the King had caught a vague glimpse of Tianmiao’s appearance. Though not entirely clear, it was unmistakably that of a peerless beauty.
"But, Your Majesty, once the witch activates the array, one cannot enter or leave at will," Andophin explained.
"Save that talk for ghosts. Don’t argue with . I command you to imdiately take people and bring back that Eastern girl. Make sure she isn’t hard, especially her face," the King roared.
