Chapter 279: Chapter 20: The Fallen Noble Lady
"You bunch of black little pests! I’m here!" Lou Sha shouted in the air.
Upon "hearing" the sound, the witch scorpions began to shift their target, moving towards Lou Sha, indifferent to the height they had just built up.
Tianmiao: Sorry, I take back what I said earlier. These scorpions aren’t smart.
Lou Sha’s blonde hair fluttered with her movents, until fewer witch scorpions were climbing the cabinet. Good, Tianmiao was safe.
Now’s the mont! Lou Sha took advantage of the chandelier’s sway to leap out once more.
She first landed on the soft bed, rolled forward, and before the witch scorpions sensed her action, she swung her long leg over, turned elegantly, and pushed the liquor rack behind the bar towards the witch scorpion crowd.
With a crash, the entire room was filled with the aroma of alcohol.
She smirked, exposing a cold smile on her beautiful face, lightly raised her hand, and directly tossed the candlestick in her hand towards the scorpion crowd.
With a loud bang, indigo flas soared into the air, countless witch scorpions burned together one after another, the brighter the fire, the more scorpions charged forward.
"Does it sll kind of nice? But this thing has killed quite a few people, hasn’t it?" Lou Sha clapped her hands and said with disgust, "Thinking about it makes
sick, but if that foolish housekeeper were here, I might consider stuffing these things into his mouth."
"You’re the coolest!" Tianmiao extended a big thumbs-up without reluctance.
"My pleasure, my beautiful Eastern Princess." Lou Sha perford a knight’s salute, winking at Tianmiao.
At this mont, the two of them seed not to be in a perilous situation, but rather on an outing.
"Co on, let’s get out of here!" Lou Sha admired the witch scorpions’ "huddling for warmth," until the last witch scorpion stopped moving, then went to the cabinet and extended her hands to Tianmiao, signaling for Tianmiao to jump down into her arms.
Tianmiao chuckled lightly, leaped down, and grabbed Lou Sha’s hand.
At this mont, Tianmiao felt unexpectedly happy. It seed to be the first ti she felt this kind of protection. This feeling was, sohow, quite nice.
Lou Sha held Tianmiao’s hand and together they ran towards the door, wanting to open this room’s door.
Their hands reached for the door handle, only to find it was... a smooth mirror!
The "door" in front of them gradually shed its disguise, a tall, exquisite vanity mirror appeared before them.
"Soone in this castle can manipulate resentful energy at will, it’s simply impossible for anyone to escape alive, if such a power exists, it must be witchcraft." Lou Sha’s expression was grave. "So, where we entered just now was the world inside the mirror?" Lou Sha subconsciously tightened her grip on Tianmiao’s hand again.
Tianmiao furrowed her brows slightly: "It does seem that way."
Lou Sha furrowed her brows even more, brushed her long hair to the back of her head, the peculiar situation made her scalp tingle, the mont they looked into the mirror, they were actually brought inside, yet she was completely unaware.
However, there’s a solution to this. She needs to think deeply, let her think deeply, what do those dusty books in her father’s attic record?
Suddenly, the mirror before them turned blood-red, as if soone had splashed a bucket of blood on it.
Lou Sha was startled, she quickly stood up pulling Tianmiao back several steps, stepping on a few charred witch scorpions in the process.
Then, a giant, pale hand wiped the mirror, the giant hand seed to pick up the mirror, the angle’s tilt almost sent Lou Sha and Tianmiao flying.
