The next morning.
Milenia’s residence.
Agares woke up with his head pounding and aching. He slowly opened his eyes and realized he was in Milenia’s bedroom, sleeping alone, completely naked.
"What happened?"
He sat up in bed, leaning against the wooden headboard. Agares tried to rember what happened the night before. He clearly kissed Milenia passionately.
Reflexively, Agares touched his lips, still rembering the warmth and softness of Milenia’s. But had he really slept with her?
That alcohol had truly wiped his mory of last night.
KNOCK!
The bedroom door opened, revealing Milenia in a beautiful gown. She had already been up early to prepare everything, including breakfast.
For the first ti, Milenia—the lady of the house—had helped cook alongside her maids. Agares glanced at her hands and saw multiple band-aids wrapped around her fingers.
"Get up, sleepyhead."
"Your fingers?" Agares asked, focusing on them.
Milenia was startled, her face flushing red as she instinctively hid her right hand behind her back. "It’s nothing, just slight cuts. They’ll heal."
She clearly stated that Agares was expected downstairs for breakfast. Aoi was already there, enjoying her own al since she had said she didn’t like vegetables.
Putting on his black shirt, Agares descended the stairs from the second floor to the first. There, he saw the maids lined up near the dining table—five in total.
Not just them, the dining table was filled with a large portion of food. There were twelve different dishes in total, eight at-based, the rest vegetables and fruits.
"That’s a lot. Are you throwing a feast?" asked Agares.
Milenia smiled. She admitted it was the first ti she had breakfast with soone—especially with soone she liked.
Naturally, she would do her best to make Agares happy and comfortable.
Though Agares found it a bit excessive, he didn’t voice it out loud. As a guest, he had to accept the hospitality no matter what.
Agares, Milenia, and Aoi sat at the dining table, slowly enjoying the food in front of them.
Agares didn’t take too much, but he tried every dish. He had to admit that the food was far more delicious than l’s cooking at Goro’s tavern—it made him wish he could taste food like this every day.
"You five, grab plates and eat with us," invited Agares, making Milenia beside him to turn back and glance at her five maids.
"It’s okay, they’ll eat the leftovers later."
"That’s rude!" Agares scolded Milenia firmly.
Milenia was taken aback and bowed her head in agreent. Her deanor changed drastically, and she allowed the five maids to take their als and eat together in the maid’s lounge.
The five maids were shocked. Milenia usually acted cold and uncaring toward them. Normally, she never gave such orders; when she finished eating, then the maids would eat whatever was left.
But Agares’ presence brought a new color to Milenia. Her attitude began to soften, and she started to respect others. The maids were certainly grateful for that.
"Call everyone in this house. Tell them to eat first," ordered Agares.
"Y-Yes, Sir Agares."
Four maids carried dishes once Agares, Aoi, and Milenia finished breakfast, while one maid went to inform all the people in Milenia’s residence to co have breakfast.
Aoi lay on her back on the table, holding her round belly from being overly full. Agares and Milenia smiled at her behavior, and the woman shifted her gaze sideways.
"What are you planning to do today?" asked Milenia.
Agares leaned back in his chair, silent. It had been a day since the news of his death spread across the city. If he went out now, there was a chance people might find out the truth.
"Maybe I’ll wait a bit longer until those adventurers leave. Do you mind? I can pay if necessary," explained Agares.
Milenia smiled and giggled softly at his awkward attitude.
"No need. You’re being overly polite when we’ve already done so much," said Milenia.
"So much?" asked Agares.
Milenia smiled flirtatiously, slowly reaching out and gently touching the back of Agares’ hand. Aoi was still sound asleep from overeating.
"Did you forget what happened last night?" Milenia whispered softly.
"Could it be that we—"
"Yes. I got exactly what I wanted. Just like you said, I was really exhausted last night."
’Did I really sleep with her?’ wondered Agares.
"I’ve served many n, from different races and ages. But the most morable and pleasurable mont was being with you."
"Ah, I see."
’Damn, I really got carried away. But I don’t even rember what happened last night,’ Agares thought.
He turned to look at Milenia, her face beaming with a complex mix of admiration and affection. Given her gentle and happy deanor, maybe what she said was true.
"Do you rember the promise we made last night?" Milenia asked, startling Agares.
"A promise? What promise?"
"You’re cruel. I already agreed to it," Milenia pouted.
"You said you’d keep making love to if I stopped seeing other clients. Of course, for you, I’m willing to do that."
"Wait! I said sothing like that?" Agares asked, flustered.
"Yes. You said it repeatedly while dominating . I don’t know what got you so fired up," replied Milenia.
Agares was even more shocked, reflexively standing up and staring at Milenia wide-eyed. Her response was simple—she smiled and kept her hands folded, eyes locked onto his.
’No way. I really had sex with Milenia?’ thought Agares.
"Don’t act so surprised like you’ve never had sex before. It’ll be fine."
"This was my first ti—and I did it while drunk," said Agares.
"Really?! Ah, I’m so happy to be your first."
Trying to calm himself, Agares sat back down and took a deep breath. What’s done is done. After all, relationships like that between n and won were normal.
Many people had done it, so there was no need to worry too much.
"Don’t ever tease again when I’m drunk," requested Agares.
Milenia cleared her throat.
"Of course. But if you want it again, you can always co to ."
"Maybe you’re the only one who can satisfy all my desires right now. I’m no longer interested in other n, even if they bring thousands of monster cores," said Milenia.
On one hand, Agares had promised to always satisfy her lusts. On the other hand, her previous work was now gone, and she had no intention of starting over with other n.
Was this a blessing or a curse for Agares?
Who knows—only Agares could decide. For now, he would let what happened be and start being more careful moving forward.
"I’ll check the pet nu and learn it in the backyard. If you’re free, you can co join ."
"There are a few things I need to handle in the city. Maybe I’ll catch up with you later, honey."
’She’s even bold enough to call that... What’s really going on with her?’ wondered Agares.
"Alright then."
Agares walked toward the backyard carrying Aoi in his arms, while Milenia returned to her room to get ready.
That day, Agares and Milenia grew even closer. However, Agares still wasn’t ready to open his heart and accept Milenia’s feelings.
He needed ti to understand what was really happening.
