"Why, thank you," Maxim smiled back. "I am glad I could be useful for you."
"Well.. should we make plans for the trip to Myreen?" Emlyn sat back on her chair and reached out for the wine jug. She felt overwheld by all the information she received earlier and wanted to calm her nerves down with wine. She raised one cup and asked Maxim, "Would you like a cup of wine?"
"Yes, please." Maxim nodded. He waited patiently until Emlyn poured him a cup of wine and another one for herself before he took the cup and raised it to his mouth. "Thank you."
They both drank together, feeling happy. Emlyn was happy because Queen Maude was willing to help her because she felt sympathy for Emlyn as a mother.
anwhile, Maxim was happy because his mother seed to like Emlyn and the two won got along well just now. This was a good start, he thought.

"Well…" Emlyn didn't want to be presumptuous, but she really needed to ask Maxim if it was possible for him to lend Edgar one of the dragons so he could go ho more quickly?
She tried to find the right words to say, but it was so hard without sounding entitled. She owed Maxim so much already.
"Tell , what do you have in mind?" Maxim asked Emlyn. "Is there sothing you want? If it's within my power, I will make it happen."
"Actually yes, but... I am sorry if this sounds entitled, I don't an it. I just want to see my mother-in-law wake up as soon as possible." Emlyn bit her lip and looked at Maxim in her best puppy eyes.
She uttered her question carefully, "Will you be willing to... ask Renwyck to lend one of the dragons to Edgar? The journey ho will take five months. If you can help him to arrive faster, I will be very grateful."
Maxim looked at Emlyn with a playful glint in his eyes. Actually, he could already guess what Emlyn was thinking after he ntioned the fact that Renwyck kept three dragons with him.
