"What are you looking at?" asked Emlyn suspiciously. Mars just shrugged and pretended to be indifferent. He would not tell Emlyn what was in his heart, that he wanted to see that girl carrying his child.
He would soon turn 27. It was a good ti for him to embrace fatherhood. His cousins ??who were a few years younger now already had several children, either from their legal wives and/or their mistresses.
Hmm .. he had to see the royal physician and discuss what to do to ensure that Emlyn would get pregnant soon and keep her pregnancy healthy.
They finished dinner in a relaxed manner. Emlyn felt full because her stomach was filled with all her favorite dishes.
"I'm full," Emlyn said finally. She ate really a lot today. With her left hand, she resisted when Mars tried to feed her more at.
"Hmm .. all right," said Mars. He then waved his hand, and Roshan quickly ca over to him. The prince then turned to Emlyn. "What do you want to eat tomorrow?"
The girl suddenly hiccupped. Since she had just eaten her fill, her mind did not want to think about food at all. She imdiately shook her head. "Can we talk about it tomorrow? I'm so full right now. If I have to imagine more food, I might throw up."
Mars imdiately sighed in disappointnt. He was happy to see Emlyn eating a lot. But now, when he asked her what other food the cooks should prepare for her tomorrow, the girl seed disinterested.
"Oh," he muttered, disappointed. The man then waved his hand and motioned Roshan to leave. After they were alone, Mars then asked Emlyn to stand up. "We'd better take a walk to digest the food. Looks like you're full."
"Hmm ..." Emlyn replied. She did not refuse the invitation because she did feel that after eating a lot of food, it was best to go out for a little walk. If she kept sitting like this, she would turn into a sloth.
The two of them walked out of the castle and took a breath of fresh air. The night had fallen, and the air was getting cold. The moon, which was a full moon last night, now looked smaller. Emlyn tried to rember how long it had been since she had left her holand.
Would she be able to return to Winterre?
Would that chance only co after she gave birth to this bastard's three heirs?
Ahhh .. how many years would it take her to accomplish the job?
Oh, wait... She now rembered that she must imdiately find a witch to help her so that she could conceive twins or even triplet so that she wouldn't need to waste ti in this castle. If she could do it in one go.. then, by next year, she would be a free woman!
FREEDOM would taste so sweet. Plus, she would get her kingdom back.
With that in mind, she finally decided to ask Mars for permission to be allowed out of the castle. She needed to find the witch to help her.
The prince had said that he would not keep Emlyn locked in the castle. She was allowed the freedom to go out. However, the girl needed to tell Mars if she wanted to go sowhere.
"Mars .." Emlyn suddenly stopped in her tracks. Her hand gripped Mars's hand tightly, making the young man startled. He didn't expect this temperantal girl to take the initiative to touch his hand.
"What do you want?" asked the young man with his golden irises staring into Emlyn's eyes closely. This girl must want sothing, he thought.
[There is no way she is holding my hand for nothing.]
"Why do you imdiately think I want sothing?" Emlyn sounded offended as if she was being accused of a cri she had not committed.
[Damn. This bastard just knows I want sothing from him.]
"Don't you want sothing?" Mars asked back.
Emlyn frowned. "I do want sothing. But I don't like it when you imdiately accuse like that."
Mars massaged his forehead. He turned and looked at Emlyn. "What is it?"
Emlyn took a deep breath. Well, there was no need to stand on ceremony with this prince. After all, it seed like he had gotten to know her very well after spending a lot of ti together over the past two days.
This bastard had seen her body in all its glory, and he knew her inside and out now... why would she hesitate to ask this man sothing?
"You told that you are going with your troops to Southberry for battle exercise," said the girl. "You are leaving in a few days, right?"
Mars lips curved slightly upwards at this beautiful girl's question. To his delight, Emlyn rembered his schedule. What a very caring future wife, he thought.
[Ahh .. could it be that this girl already likes secretly so that she pays attention to everything I say?]
"That's right," Mars replied calmly.
"How long will you be away?" asked Emlyn in a probing tone.
"About a week," said Mars. "The trip there takes two days and three days of exercise. With the return trip, I will be away for a total of seven days."
"Ohh ..." Emlyn took a deep breath. "I will definitely feel bored of staying in the castle alone."
"Do you want to co with ?" asked Mars.
Emlyn hurriedly shook her head.
[Uh, no fucking way. If I co along, you'll fuck at nights, and your thousands of soldiers would hear the noise we'd be making. How could I face them after that?]
"So, what do you want?" Mars asked again.
He was actually a little disappointed that Emlyn didn't want to co with him. He wanted to show her so nice places in Southberry. The vineyards there were so beautiful.
"You said I was free to go anywhere, as long as I asked your permission. Since you're going out of town for a week anyway, I ask you to give the freedom to explore so of the villages around this castle. I want to visit so of my friends."
"You have friends around here?" asked Mars with furrowed brows. This girl was from Winterre, a colony quite far from here. How could she claim to have friends nearby?
Emlyn imdiately hit the man's arm impatiently. "Of course, I have friends. I am not like you who don't have any friends."
Mars looked closely at Emlyn. What this girl said just now was not true. She didn't know that actually, Mars had two good friends. However, it still hurt to hear the girl he liked thought nobody liked him enough to be his friends.
Mars removed Emlyn's hand from his arm and then resud his steps.
"Hey .. hey !! Wait for , will you?" exclaid Emlyn, jogging along Mars's footsteps.
"You can go, but two bodyguards and Roshan will accompany you wherever you go. You must not go alone," said Mars without turning his head.
Emlyn's safety as the mother of his children was paramount. Apart from the three people, he would also send an army of bodyguards to shadow Emlyn wherever the girl went.
anwhile, Emlyn could only frown and massage her temple.
[Damn. He must have thought I am going to run away. So he insisted that I always have bodyguards with .]
However, this was actually big progress. Emlyn was free to go out without Mars. She would not be confined to this castle. It would be really boring if she couldn't go anywhere.
Finally, the girl decided to accept his conditions.
"Fine."
"Good."

Ahh... I know you miss our shaless couple. I do too! I'm sorry for not being able to update as frequently as I wanted.
I will end one of my books next week, "The Prince Who Cannot Fall In Love & The Missing Heiress" and am still raking my brain on how to create the perfect ending. So.. it is hard to divide my attention to other books (I have 3 ongoing ones, 4 with this book T_T)
I think, once I get that out of the way, I can focus on "The Cursed Prince". We will have many interesting events to co.
How Emlyn tried to engage a witch to make her pregnant with twins or triplet.. lol, she is so brave, aye? Being pregnant with one is already a challenge, yet, she wanted to go with many babies at once.
Will she make it or will she get pregnant with only one baby?
Plus, we will have the royal ball to celebrate Mars' birthday and it is how Mars will introduce his lady to the public. Will the queen and king like Emlyn?
By the way, this is a bit of a back story to this book.
Actually, Mars and Emlyn were characters from a story I wrote 20 years ago but I never finished. I think I can still find the book where I handwrote the chapters. However, the story is very different from this one.
That other story was about Prince Aristide who was caught by pirates when he was 5 years old. There was a coup in the Genoa kingdom and his aunt escaped with the young prince to save his life.
They were disguised as commoners and took the ship to flee to Gekko, the neighboring kingdom. Unfortunately, their ship was attacked by pirates. The aunt was missing and the little boy was caught by their attackers. The rebellion in Genoa was eventually extinguished and the monarchs were saved, but the prince and his aunt disappeared without a trace.
The king and queen didn't know their only son was raised by the pirate leader who adopted the boy and turned him into the most feared pirate when he turned 17.
He was nad Mars, from the god of war. Mars was so good-looking that people would think he was an angel, but soon find out he was the devil once he attacked their ships.
Mars, The Pirate Lord, was famous on the sea and the land and so many kingdoms worked together to catch him, including Genoa, where he ca from, and where his parents were the monarchs.
One day, he went ashore and t the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. He followed her and found out she was the princess from the Gekko kingdom. Princess Emlyn was actually betrothed to Prince Aristide since they were children. As you may rember, Aristide was Mars. However, they didn't know this fact.
Anyway.... since I have left that story untouched for 20 years, I figured it's such a waste not to use the nas. So, that's why now we have this book.
IF I have ti in the future, I might revisit the story and write it/continue it so you can read it. I will have to find new nas for the characters though because I already used them here.
