“Get lost,” Jiang Shu huffed. “Don’t even think about taking advantage of my wife.”

Bai Qiuyi had already gone to the bedroom to grab his clothes, but he heard the entire exchange from the living room. When Jiang Shu ca in, Bai Qiuyi raised an eyebrow at him, “Wife?”

Usually, this guy would only ask him to call him “husband”, never referring to him as “wife”. Yet, here he was, asserting his position by calling him “wife” in front of others.

“I’m the wife, my husband.” Jiang Shu was worried Bai Qiuyi might hold a grudge so he kept a straight face and lied calmly.

In fact, he didn’t dare call Bai Qiuyi that, feeling it might be insulting since Bai Qiuyi wasn’t a girl. But just now, in his urgency, he had blurted out the term he had always kept to himself.

Bai Qiuyi just stared at him for a while. Then, he couldn’t help laughing. “How did your skin get so thick?”

Jiang Shu rubbed his nose. “I’m just trying to avoid making you mad.”

“I’m not mad. You can call whatever you want.” Bai Qiuyi smiled.

“Really?” Jiang Shu could barely contain his excitent. He tentatively called, “Wife?”

Bai Qiuyi closed the wardrobe door and glanced at him. “Grab your clothes and get in the shower.”

Jiang Shu happily replied, “Yes, wife!”
