Chapter 384: Trick or Treat
“Are you really sure about this?” Genie wailed as the spaceship continued digging down the ground. “And how the hell could this spaceship have sothing like a digger?”
‘Well, we spacefarers need so funds for our travels, so we need to have ways to earn money.” Androda replied while she was busy manipulating her vehicle. “Mining is a good business, so I had sothing akin to a drill attached on my spaceship.”
“That is one ridiculous reason!” Genie had no words anymore for the sheer weirdness of Fang Yu and Androda.
Now that she thought about it, Genie realized that the weirdest person in the spaceship was not Fang Yu or Androda, but it was actually her Exalted Devourer Tang Li.
Genie may have already sworn her allegiance to Tang Li, but that still does not help her identify why Tang Li was so attached on Fang Yu. Maybe Fang Yu’s milk was one factor, but Genie was thinking that there could be sothing more into it.
“Oh, you are asking why Tang Li is so attached to ?” Fang Yu said this as Genie asked about Tang Li’s clinginess to Fang Yu. Fang Yu tilted her head as she replied, “I actually do not know. Tang Li is already like this the first ti that I t her. She quickly beca attached to when she saw . Even her mother was slightly hurt by what she saw. After all, her own daughter wanted to spend more ti with compared to her.” Genie frowned, feeling that sothing was off. “That certainly is weird.”
Suddenly, Genie felt as if she caught into sothing important. She felt that if she recognizes what made Tang Li so attached to Fang Yu, then Genie might be able to use this realization to deal with Solomon. This is one ridiculous thought, but Genie could not get rid of it. This feeling was like a worm that got stuck on her heart, and she could only get rid of it once she solves it.
Fang Yu listened to Genie as she explained to Fang Yu about what she felt. Fang Yu laughed heartily upon hearing this, slapping her aty thighs as she gave Genie an amused look.
“You think that if we find the reason on why Tang Li is attached to , then we could use that to deal with Solomon? Hahahaha! This is the first ti I hear you make a joke!”
“I am serious!” Genie said as she glared at Fang Yu. “Won’t you just agree on doing this? After all nothing bad will happen if we ask Tang Li. Besides, with the speed that we are drilling right now, it will take us more than 4 hours to reach the core. Just treat our questioning on Tang Li as a way to pass ti.” “Well, doing it seems to be ok I guess.” Fang Yu reluctantly replied as she gazed at Tang Li, who was busy playing with so ‘Action Figures’. “Boom boom boom!” Tang Li shouted adorably as she collided two Action Figures she held on her hands.
The one she held on her left hand was an Action Figure that depicted Beleth, who was still covered in armor. The Action Figure Beleth was so realistic, that even Genie thought that the Action Figure Beleth that Tang Li held was the miniaturized version of the real Beleth. As for the Action Figure on Tang Li’s right hand, this Action Figure was that of Fang Yu.
Just like Action Figure Beleth, Action Figure Fang Yu was also accurately made. Genie could even see that the curves of Action Figure Fang Yu was so eerily proportionate to the real Fang Yu. If this Action Figure falls in a pervert’s hands.... Genie suppressed her shivers as she shook off that thought.
“Kill kill kill!” Tang Li giggled as the used the foot of Action Figure Fang Yu to puml the head of Action Figure Beleth. Tang Li only stopped pumling when Action Figure Beleth’s head snapped off. The head rolled on the floor until it was stopped by the wall. “Sis ish shuper strong!”
Genie winced upon seeing this, as she realized that Tang Li was.... certainly a playful person. “You, are you the one who made those.... Dolls?” Genie asked as they watched Tang Li, now beating up Action Figure Fang Yu with her Action Figure Tang Li. “Yeah I made that.” Fang Yu replied, which was followed by a wince as Tang Li dislocated the arms of Action Figure Fang Yu. “Sis alwaysh loshesh to Tang Li!”
“I thought that Tang Li is getting bored now, so I used one of my abilities to create those dolls. It’s so realistic that even I am feeling sorry for those dolls.” Fang Yu said, letting out a sigh as Tang Li continued beating up Action Figure Fang Yu.
“Why would you even allow a girl like Tang Li to play sothing like this? Do you think that the great Tang Li is a battle junkie like you?” Genie thought sourly as she noticed an Action Figure that looked exactly like Genie. “Why don’t we talk to Tang Li now and let her play later?” Genie said as she felt scared for the fate of her Action Figure later.
“Ok, playti’s over then.” Fang Yu snapped her fingers, and the Action Figures that was with Tang Li all disappeared in a puff of smoke. “Muu....” Tang Li imdiately pouted and her eyes started to tear up as she saw her precious ‘Battle Toysh’ gone.
Tang Li imdiately casted Fang Yu a pleading look, knowing that it was Fang Yu that made her toys disappear. “Muu....” “Answer so of my questions first, and I will give back your toys.” Fang Yu said, ignoring Tang Li’s teary eyes. “If you answer well, I will add special attacks and power-ups on your toys. You want that right?”
“Yesh Sis, Tang Li wantsh that!” Upon hearing the ntion of special attacks, Tang Li’s pouting expression disappeared as she decided that no matter what Fang Yu asked her, Tang Li will answer it all with honesty! “What the hell, special attacks on those dolls? What special attacks can you even put in an Action Figure anyway?” Genie thought with skepticism. “These two..... they really are weirdos.....”
Tang Lin then impatiently tapped the floor with her chubby palms as she gave Fang Yu an intense gaze. “Fashter Sis!” “Great Tang Li, you are really willing to be like this just for those toys?” Genie does not know whether she should laugh or cry after seeing Tang Li’s determination.
“Okay then, question no. 1” Fang Yu stood up as she paced around the ship. “Why are you so attached to ?” “Becaushe Sis’ milk tashtesh good!” Tang Li quickly replied as she rapidly nodded her head. “Moar moar moar!” Both Fang Yu and Genie facepald, realizing they were too general in their questions. Fang Yu let out an awkward cough as she changed her question. “Tang Li, what did you feel when you first saw ? Did you feel anything that made you want to be attached to ?”
“Umm....” Tang Li tilted her head as she seed to deeply ponder what Fang Yu was talking about. Her eyes then brightened as she said “When I firsht shaw Sis, I heard a voice shaying that I should go with Sis!” “A voice?” Fang Yu and Genie narrowed their eyes, realizing that they caught on sothing now.
“What exactly did this voice tell you?” Fang Yu pressed on as she continued pressuring Tang Li. “If you give the exact words, I will add a Maglev Cannon on Wang Hao’s action figure!”(AN: Hey hey hey, is it even ok to put sothing like that on a children’s toy?) “Kay!” Tang Li swayed her head side by side as she tried to recollect that voice. It was lucky for Fang Yu that Tang Li’s planet soul allowed her to have a powerful mind.
But since Tang Li was still young, her intellect was still comparable to that of a young child. But her mories were impeccable! Rembering sothing that she encountered before will be just easy for Tang Li.
“Sis, the voice jusht told that if I go with you, I will get many yummy foodsh and toysh!” Tang Li said as she leapt on Fang Yu’s bosom. “And the voice alsho told that many fun thingsh will happen if I go with you!” “Are you still hearing this voice now?” Fang Yu said, as dread began to slowly appear on her features. “Are you still communicating with this voice?”
“Yesh Sis!” Tang Li replied happily, as if she could not see the shock and worry on Fang Yu’s face. “I talk with the voice when I am shad or when Sis ish angry to ... Big Bro Voice ish kind to ! He doesh not shcold like Sis! Hmph!” “Hold on, you said Big Bro. The voice you are hearing inside your mind was a male’s voice?” Genie interjected as she suddenly leapt up in panic. “Great Tang Li, is it possible for you to let us hear this Voice? We just want to know if we can recognize this speaker.”
“Wait Genie, are you thinking that a practitioner was using a technique to talk to Tang Li all this ti? Fang Yu said as she patted the head of oblivious Tang Li. “And that this practitioner was an enemy of ours?”
“That’s what I am thinking about.” Genie replied grimly as she faced Tang Li once more. “Is it possible, oh great one?” “Tang Li doesh not need to do that, shince Tang Li already knowsh the owner of the Voice!” Tang Li said proudly as she puffed out her chest. “You know the owner of the Voice?” Fang Yu and Genie pressed their faces closer to Tang Li as they said, “Do we know this person?” “Yesh, you know!” Tang Li quickly replied. “But do not be angry to him! He talksh to everyday and makesh my loshe my shadnessh!” “So, who is this person then?” Fang Yu gulped audibly as she asked the most vital question to Tang Li.
“Umm....” Tang Li rubbed her chin as she said, “He shaid hish na was Sho...sho... Sholomon! HIsh na ish Sholomon!” “S-–-T!” Fang Yu cussed, much to Tang Li’s displeasure. “This Solomon, is he talking to you right now?”
“Yesh Sis!” Tang Li replied. “Sholomon told that he ish waiting for ush now. He shaid he hash a good feasht for ush!”
“We’ve been tricked!” That’s what flashed on Fang Yu’s mind as she turned to Androda. “Turn back the ship now! That slimy Solomon tricked us!”
