Hm?” Shou Nanren, who was currently lounging at a chair in the Palace of the Gods, suddenly jerked up as if sothing just jolted his body. “This feeling...” Shou Nanren muttered as his gaze swiveled towards the direction of the Immortal Continent.
Actually, his gaze was directed at the Central Divine Empire, at the place where its volcano was destroyed.
“Krrr...” Shou Nanren’s chair created a scraping sound as he stood up. His face seed to be tense as he left his room.
“Hey, where are you going?” Shou Nanren felt a hand clasping on his shoulders. Shou Nanren turned his head around, and there he saw rlin, with his right hand grasping Shou Nanren’s left shoulder.
Shou Nanren was the tallest out of all the envoys, so he easily towered over rlin. Shou Nanren bent his head until his eyes were level with rlin’s. “I am going to the Immortal Continent right now.” Shou Nanren said as his face looked more tense. “I have a very important thing to do there.”
“And what is that important thing huh?” rlin said as he rubbed his beard. “If you want to leave, then you must explain this thing. If not, then you cannot leave.”
Shou Nanren rubbed his head as frustration appeared in his features. “It’s hard to explain ok....”
“Then you cannot leave.” rlin replied stoically. “S**t!” Shou Nanren stomped his foot as he glared at rlin angrily. “You want to explain? Then fine!” Shou Nanren took a deep breath before letting out what was inside him.
“While I was sitting at my chair earlier, I suddenly felt a dreadful sensation inside . This feeling.... It was sothing that makes have chills, even right now!” This seed to be true as rlin saw Shou Nanren’s skin slightly sweaty and his palms slightly trembling.
“I do not know why I am feeling this, but I am sure sothing just appeared at the Immortal Continent that was a great threat to ”! Shou Nanren roared out as his face beca flushed red.
“Right now, I feel like as long as I do not eliminate this threat, I will not be able to live in the future! This feeling, it makes unable to think clearly!!!” Shou Nanren’s eyes then bulged as foam dripped out of his mouth. “Eliminate the threat, eliminate the threat, eliminate the threat...”
“A Heart Demon!” rlin’s eyes widened as he saw Shou Nanren’s crazed expression. “This is really bad....”
Usually, it was very rare for practitioners above the Sixth Stage to have a Heart Demon. But those who gets one usually gets f**ked up in the end. And right now, Shou Nanren was afflicted with one!

Shou Nanren’s Godly Divine Beast Form was the Wisdom Treant. The Wisdom Treant was originally a branch of Yggdrasil that snapped off by its own which only beca the Wisdom Treant after years of floating in space.
Even Shou Nanren had to undergo of 100 years floating as Yggdrasil’s branch in space before he gained sentience and beca the Wisdom Treant that he was now.
But how is Shou Nanren’s Godly Divine Beast form related on his Heart Demon situation right now?
Shou Nanren’s current crazed state was caused by Jormungandr’s purpose in life. Jormungandr’s real purpose as the Jormungandr was to end Ragnarok and make Loki the one true ruler of the 9 Galaxies.
But for Loki to rule the 9 Galaxies, Yggdrasil which houses these 9 Galaxies must fall too. For Loki, it will be impossible for him to kill Yggdrasil.
But for Jormugandr, it will be a piece of cake! After all, Jormugandr’s evil power was the only known weakness of Yggdrasil! Once Yggdrasil was tainted by this evil power, it will quickly wither and die off. Yggdrasil’s powerful defense and life energy are unable to block this evil power, allowing this power to greatly damage Yggdrasil.
The intense effect of this power ans that Jormugandr was one of the extrely few beings that can take Yggdrasil down! This naturally makes Yggdrasil feel extrely threatened of Jormugandr and his evil power.
And since Shou Nanren originated from Yggdrasil, he can also feel threatened by Jormugandr! Now that Jormugandr appeared just near Shou Nanren, Shou Nanren’s instincts were screaming to kill Jormungandr right now, or he might be killed by Jormugandr in the future.
What was worse was that Shou Nanren’s parent, the Yggdrasil, might also be killed by Jormugandr if Shou Nanren lets Jormugnadr live!
The combination of this instinctive fear and the great urge to protect himself and Yggdrasil was enough to manifest a Heart Demon inside Shou Nanren. This Heart Demon will only disappear once Shou Nanren successfully eliminates the threat.
In this case, it equates on Shou Nanren killing Jormungandr.
rlin knew that if he did not let Shou Nanren venture out now, his Heart Demon will surely consu him inside out.
This will be the worst case scenario, as it will not only kill Shou Nanren, rlin’s other comrades might be also injured. rlin gritted his teeth, not liking where the situation was going. He originally wanted to wait for 12 hours before making a move. But with Shou Nanren’s situation, it seems like he had to bend that rule a little. “Fine... Do whatever you want.” rlin said as he let out a defeated sigh. “But do you have a way to infiltrate the Immortal Continent without their inhabitants seeing you? They will surely try to kill you if they see you.” “I do not have any way.” Shou Nanren replied with gritted teeth. “But you, rlin, I know you have several ways to do it. You have so magic that can help you infiltrate right?”
“Where are you going with this...” rlin said as he looked at Shou Nanren with narrowed eyes. “Since you have ways to infiltrate the Immortal Continent, you can just join !” Shou Nanren replied shalessly. “With your abilities, I will have no worries finding my target!”
“Hell no! I only allowed you go to there since you have a special case. But I do not have any, so I will just wait until the command of the Beast God Planet arrives.” rlin replied angrily. He then turned around, as he prepared to leave Shou Nanren. “Wait! I will give you a portion of my branches if you help right now!” Shou Nansen’s mind was slightly muddled by his Heart Demon, so he was not inhibited on making a deal with rlin. “If you want, I can give you 5 branches of my body later, whether I succeeded or failed on killing the threat!” “Oh, you should have said that earlier.” rlin said as he walked back to Shou Nanren. “5 branches huh. I am expecting that later.”
While Shou Nanren was happy with getting rlin’s help, rlin was inwardly smirking as he realized that he succeeded on pressuring Shou Nanren on giving up so of his branches.
A branch of a Wisdom Treant was very valuable, as it had miraculous properties that will make soone like rlin salivate. rlin of course asked for a branch from Shou Nanren before, but he always refused.
It was only now when Shou Nanren’s mind was affected by his Heart Demon that he was pressured on giving rlin so branches. “If it was before, this stingy bastard won’t even give one branch! Hehehe.... Whatever that threat to Shou Nanren is, I must thank it later for allowing to get not just 1, but 5 branches!”
rlin and Shou Nanren then left the Palace of the Gods, with rlin reminding his other companions that he and Shou Nanren has a ‘very important’ business to deal with. This statent of rlin of course brought confusion on Jian Chen and the other Godly Divine Beasts, but after seeing the crazed expression on Shou Nanren’s face and the evil glint on rlin’s eyes, they decided to just stay at the Palace of the Gods and let rlin and Shou Nanren ‘play’ their ga.
“Your base and hideout?” Wu ng tilted her head as her gaze alternated between the golden bull on Wang Hao’s hands and the golden bull erected at the middle of the village. “This place does not seem to be..... that good of a hideout.” What Wu ng said was right, as she could see that even though there was a golden do covering the whole village, this golden do would not be able to tank the strikes of Fifth Stage Practitioners and above.
“Hmph, so what? I am careful on going in this place, so I have no worries on going here.” Wang Hao said proudly as Jorm clambered on Wang Hao’s head. Jorm was drooling as his gaze was concentrated on the golden bull in Wang Hao’s hands. He stretched his chubby hands to that bull as his drooling began to intensify. “Mama, I want to eat!”
“Nah uh uh.” Wang Hao hastily hid the golden bull as he gave a reproaching look to Jorm. “Jorm, do not just eat anything that you like. That is bad! If you want to eat sothing good, wait a little. I will personally cook it for you!” “Ok....” The scary Jorm seed to be polite as he listened on Wang Hao’s instructions.
Wu ng just scratched her head upon hearing this, as she felt more and more confused by what was happening. After pacifying Jorm down, Wang Hao’s face turned grim as he pulled out another object from his storage. This object was the orb that trapped the silver-clad lady that tried to attack Wang Hao earlier.
Wang Hao shook the orb a little, as if he was trying to calm the trapped entity in the orb. This did not do anything, as the entity continued on banging the orb, with her eyes focused only on Wang Hao. “Tsk, seems like I have to research you more.” Wang Hao muttered as he walked forward. Wu ng followed suit and seconds later, Wang Hao and Wu ng entered the village, completely unaware that one crazed tree and an aged wizard was hot on their trails now.
Goddess Planet, after Tang Li helped Fang Yu on healing her injuries. After minutes of travelling, Fang Yu and Genie, who was dragged by her, arrived at Androda’s spaceship. As they arrived, Genie saw a grumpy-looking Androda glaring at Fang Yu. But aside from anger, Genie could also see expressions of worry and relief on her face.
“Hohoho, seems like soone’s extrely worried for !” Fang Yu said smugly as she approached Androda with outstretched arms. “Co, I am fine now. You can hug all you want!”
“Hmph, suit yourself!” Androda huffed angrily as she boarded her spaceship. Fang Yu just smiled at Androda’s actions as she and Genie also entered the spaceship. “So where will we go now?” Genie asked as she saw Androda fiddling the controls of the spaceship. “Will we go and et Solomon now?”
“Sothing like that...” Fang Yu said as she woke up the sleepy Tang Li. “But for us to do that, we will not do it the normal way. We will do it, my way!” “Your way?” Genie asked skeptically. “What do you an by that?”
“What do I an by that? I an it to be like this!” The spaceship that Genie was in suddenly let out a monstrous roar as it dived headfirst to the ground. “Don’t tell ....” Genie’s teeth chattered as she realized what Androda was doing. “That we are going straight through the ground now?”
“Well yes, we are doing that.” Fang Yu replied with relish. “Going through the layers of the Underground was already a pain, so let us just dig with our spaceship right through this planet until we reach the core!”
“What the hell!” That’s the only thing Genie could say before the ground swallowed the spaceship up, leaving Genie with no places to escape now. “Bon voyage~”
