Chapter 349: Chapter 348: Another Group Arrives
The bus ca to a sudden halt, and nearby, a small but relentless number of zombies kept hurling themselves at it, their sharp claws scraping against the body of the bus with a piercing sound.
“I advise you not to make any moves,” Li Ming pointed to two tanks stationed side by side outside the bus, the black muzzles of their machine guns seeming ready to fire at any mont.
He threatened Su Mo and the others, then quickly stepped off the bus.
Zhao Changsheng muttered, “Not leaving now would be idiotic.”
Su Mo had painstakingly fed them at buns that attracted zombies, all for the chance to escape while on the road.
“Lu Chen, which way should we go?” Su Mo leaned close to Lu Chen and whispered in his ear.
“Bypass the signal tower, get out of G city first.”
Su Mo nodded, then turned to Zhao Changsheng, “You have a long attack range, protect Li Qian and Aunt Jiang. Lu Chen and I will clear the way up front.”
Li Qian was just an ordinary person now, still holding Ling Ye, and Zhao Changsheng agreed.
The soldiers inside the tanks on both sides stared intently at the bus, ready to attack at the slightest movent.
“Have a pumpkin,” Su Mo suddenly said.
Shortly after, the people inside the tanks witnessed a strange scene—Lu Chen, a space superpower user, held a plate of bright yellow pumpkins, and several adults on the bus started eating it bite by bite.
Outside, Li Ming and his n were dealing with zombies and changing a spare tire—the contrast between the inside and outside was stark.
“They really are leisurely,” murmured the people inside the tanks.
“I’m getting hungry too,” said one, but just as he spoke, a disgusting zombie pounced on the glass, and his face changed imdiately, “Damn!”
The zombie’s howls rose and fell; inside, after consuming the pumpkin and receiving a fifty-minute shield notification, Lu Chen said, “Hurry up.”
“Let’s go,” Su Mo took out the Tang Blade and waved it.
The group stood up from their seats with great conspicuity.
“Don’t move!”
In the tanks on both sides, the burly n who reacted imdiately got out, and the machine guns on the roofs aid directly at the heads of Su Mo and the others.

However, as a level 4 superpower user, countless tiny ice edges began to form around Lu Chen, releasing a pressure even taller than him. The man’s face tensed, his eyes emitting extre coldness, “Did I say no?”
Both parties were stuck in a stalemate, Li Ming being a level below Lu Chen struggled to hold on, but still clenched his teeth in defiance. His wife still needed dicine to recover her senses, and he absolutely could not back down.
Thinking of this, Li Ming was the first to condense a huge fireball and hurl it toward Lu Chen, bellowing, “I told you to get up there!”
Seeing the battle start, Zhao Changsheng imdiately protected Li Qian and Jiang Yulian as they retreated; Su Mo, wielding her blade, faced the superpower users following behind Li Ming, her aura fully unleashed as she approached them head-on.
About a dozen robust superpower users displayed varying abilities.
An invisible Wind Blade sliced onto Su Mo’s protective shield and then vanished. The attacker didn’t even have ti to react before she swiftly appeared in front of the person who released the superpower. She didn’t go all out, instead kicking his stomach with all her strength, sending the superpower user flying backward to spit out a mouthful of blood upon landing.
Behind her, there was a stir, but Su Mo didn’t turn her head. Instead, she threw her Tang Blade backward in a spinning motion. The attacker hurriedly erected a golden shield to block it.
But Su Mo’s blade was no ordinary weapon, and with the difference in superpower levels, he fell flat on his backside. The golden shield was pierced by the Tang Blade and ended up nailed between his legs, rely inches from his privates.
Turning around, Su Mo’s figure blurred into a re afterimage as she swiftly pulled out the blade to face another superpower user rushing at her.
In the anti, Zhao Changsheng wielded her Thunder Whip, which emitted a dazzling blue light along with crackling sounds of electricity. As she swung the high-voltage whip, it left behind scorched marks on the ground, stubbornly defending Jiang Yulian and Li Qian from anyone trying to abduct them.
Jiang Yulian intermittently launched Water Arrows from her hands. Although her level wasn’t high, they were sufficient to cause so disturbance.
Their superpower levels were far from low, a fact that Li Ming was painfully aware of, and gradually, they began to engage in a war of attrition.
While fighting off the zombies, they simultaneously drained the abilities of Su Mo and her team.
Nurous tis, Su Mo could have driven her blade through an opponent’s neck, but she always shifted her target, either breaking their legs or snapping their arms, never dealing a fatal blow.
The reason was simple: she thought of the won and children in the epidemic prevention zone, waiting for their husbands or fathers to return ho. Privately, she wanted to spare their lives.
Not far off, a zombie stood rigid, its eerily whitened pupils locked firmly on Su Mo.
At this mont, the sky began to brighten subtly as sunlight started to filter through the dark clouds, casting a halo of light.
In the city center, Yang Yichu was frantically searching for soone when a massive zombie grabbed him and hurriedly sped towards them.
“We can’t keep dragging this out!” Su Mo glanced at the green light above Lu Chen’s head; they had dragged on for far too long, with only a few minutes remaining.
Lu Chen, like her, had not dealt any fatal blows, but the icy glint in his opponent’s eyes, who was determined to capture them for resources, eventually ignited a flash of killing intent.
Just as he was about to deliver a fatal blow, the sound of a motorcycle roared from afar, stirring up the dust.
Taking advantage of Li Ming’s montary distraction, Lu Chen imdiately shot an Ice Blade through his palm, took out a motorcycle, and yelled, “Get on the bike!”
Zhao Changsheng guarded Li Qian and Jiang Yulian as they ran towards the bike.
Su Mo sheathed her Tang Blade and glanced at the approaching unknown motorcade, her heart pounding. The unified black suits and the murderous aura made it clear they were not to be trifled with.
She imdiately ran toward the bike.
Li Ming, clearly not expecting soone to intercept them, shouted loudly, “Stop them!”
The opposing motorcade was fast and aggressive, aiming directly at Su Mo and her group.
Li Qian handed Ling Ye to Zhao Changsheng and took the driver’s seat, saying, “I’ll drive!”
With him driving, Lu Chen was free to take on anyone from outside.
Su Mo scrambled into the back seat, urging urgently, “Quick, quick, quick! Another group is coming!”
Once everyone was on board, Li Qian slamd the accelerator, speeding away.
