Nathaniel Nathan froze. Vera Xavier leaned in and kissed him directly on the lips.
A soft, gentle sensation settled on his lips. For a mont, he was dazed. ’She’s actually kissing ?’
And so, Young Master Nathan, who had always been calm and rciless, finally understood what it ant for desire to cloud one’s judgnt. He had been forcibly suppressing his emotions, intending to teach her a lesson. Otherwise, who knew what kind of trouble this audacious wife of his would stir up in the future.
But the mont Vera Xavier kissed him, he threw all caution to the wind. All he wanted was to kiss her properly. ’God knows how much I missed her while I was on my mission!’
He could hold back as long as she wasn’t kissing him, but now? How could he possibly restrain himself any longer?
Most importantly, she didn’t seem to know how to kiss at all. She just pressed against him, kissing him ssily and without any technique. Her movents were clumsy, yet sohow wild.
The more she was like this, the more it aroused him, driving him to the brink of madness!
In one swift motion, Nathaniel Nathan flipped her over and pinned her beneath him. His hand slid directly under her clothes. The sensation of her smooth, satin-like skin did nothing to quell the heat raging inside him; instead, it only made him want more.
Days of longing all lted into this single kiss, and he drowned in it, unable to pull away.
His kiss descended like a tempest, fierce and possessive. It startled Vera Xavier, who had started this fire. ’Young Master Nathan, what happened to being an ascetic? Can’t we just sit down and have a nice chat?’
Nathaniel Nathan felt all the blood in his body rush downward. A wild thought scread in his mind, but he glanced at their ager surroundings and forced himself to a grinding halt.
She could only be his, for this entire lifeti. And that first ti together was ant to be sothing beautiful. He couldn’t take her in a place like this.
So, with imnse willpower, he forced himself to stand up. Without another glance at Vera Xavier, he went straight into the bathroom.
He was afraid one more look would be all it took for him to lose control and take her.
After he left, Vera Xavier still hadn’t co back to her senses. It was only when she heard the sound of running water that she realized things had almost gotten out of hand. She playfully stuck out her tongue.
After spending ti together in this life, Vera Xavier was no longer so resistant to Nathaniel Nathan. But just now...
She pursed her lips. After what had just happened, she was no longer naive enough to think they could lie in the sa bed tonight and just talk.
She propped her chin on her hand and seriously contemplated their relationship, her face turning red before she even realized it.
But she soon discovered she was still being too naive. Young Master Nathan was never what she expected!
For instance, when he ca out of the shower, he was wearing nothing but a towel tied around his waist. At first, Vera Xavier didn’t pay much attention and gave him a casual glance. But then, feeling sothing was off, she turned her head for a second look. Her eyes widened in shock.
What a sight he was. He seed to have just washed his hair. Droplets of water dripped from the ends, tracing a path over his defined collarbones. It was a stark contrast to his coolly ascetic face, his thin, reddish lips, and his slightly cold gaze.
He wore only a bath towel tied low on his waist, revealing a firm chest. Below that were eight perfectly sculpted abs, tapering down into the sharp V-lines of his hips. The lines were half-hidden by the towel, which only made the sight more alluring. He was pure, walking temptation, enough to make anyone want to sin.
Vera Xavier gulped without even realizing it.
