At four o’clock in the afternoon, Norman Bennett still hadn’t returned. Elliana Lyle changed into a loose-fitting dress and walked back and forth in the room, rubbing her stomach.

This ti, she managed to swallow the food, and walking like this made her feel much more comfortable.

Just then, her phone rang.

Seeing that it was Luna calling, she quickly answered. Luna said, "Buddy, is the bag with the USB drive at your place?"

"Huh? What USB drive bag?" She asked as she hurried to check her unpacked suitcase.

She then saw a small bag hanging on the suitcase. She quickly asked, "Is it the gray bag?"

She unzipped it with one hand, and sure enough, there was a USB drive inside.

"Yes, could you bring it over to ?" Luna said.

"Huh?" She quickly shook her head, "Didn’t you tell not to wander around? Besides, Norman Bennett isn’t here. She doesn’t want to go out, and Norman told not to run around."

Luna agreed, "You’re right. I’ll co to pick it up myself. You wait for downstairs with the bag, and I’ll grab a al near you."

This... she thought for a mont and said, "Send a ssage when you arrive, and I’ll co downstairs. Just to be safe."

"Alright, I’ll let you know when I’m there, and you can co down."

After hanging up, she hurriedly tidied up, and while changing clothes and tying her hair, Luna’s ssage arrived.

In a rush, she put on her shoes, picked up the small bag, and headed out.

After all, she was inside the hotel, going downstairs shouldn’t be a problem, plus there was a bodyguard at the door who followed her into the elevator.

...

Half an hour later.

Luna was getting anxious waiting downstairs. ssages weren’t returned, and calls weren’t answered, so she asked at the front desk and then took the elevator upstairs.

At the designated room, three bodyguards stood by the door. Seeing her, they blocked her way and asked, "Who are you looking for?"

"Your..." She wasn’t sure how to ask and thought for a mont before saying, "Your hostess?"

The three bodyguards exchanged glances, then checked their watches and said, "She left half an hour ago."

"What?" This stunned Luna. She’d been gone for half an hour, yet Luna hadn’t seen her?

Suddenly, a foreboding feeling sank in her heart.

Without hesitation, she turned to her phone, found Norman Bennett’s number, and called.

"Hello! Norman Bennett, Elliana disappeared. I asked her to co down a floor, and now she’s gone." She said while heading to the elevator, intending to check the surveillance.

Once in the elevator, there was no signal, and before she could hear Norman Bennett’s voice, the call was cut off.

After leaving the elevator and reaching the first-floor lobby, Norman Bennett called back.

"You told her to go downstairs?"

The voice sounded furious, beyond furious—livid.

Although anxious, she had to admit, "It was who asked her. I left sothing with her; I thought it would be safe for her to co downstairs."

"Go to the surveillance room."

The chilling voice on the phone sent shivers down her spine. She replied, "On my way."

She then started jogging. After explaining the situation to the front desk, the staff agreed to take her to the surveillance room.

Just then, her phone rang again. It was a call from the Yamaguchi-gumi, forcing her to end the call with Norman to answer it.

"Hello!"

"Miss Luna Sutton, according to our investigation, John Walters arrived in the United States at noon today and checked into the Salida Hotel around 2 PM."

Luna suddenly stopped in her tracks, feeling a chill in her heart. Isn’t this hotel the Salida Hotel?

She imdiately hung up the phone, deciding against checking the surveillance and rushed out of the hotel lobby.
