"Quick, wipe those tears, your face is all ssed up from crying."

Luna sat next to Elliana Lyle, holding tissues to wipe the tears from her small face. But the tears were like an endless spring, with teardrops just wiped away, only to be replaced by more round droplets rolling down the next second.

This kind of crying broke her heart; this delicate, petite face was crying like a weeping flower, her slightly flushed face looking unbearably adorable.

She really had no resistance to cute things.

It was the first ti she’d seen Elliana cry like this, probably because of the pregnancy.

They say won have emotional changes during pregnancy, with mood swings, irritability, or depression, fear, and crying easily.

So the emotions beca even more fragile and unbearable, and once the crying started, it couldn’t stop.

Especially Norman Bennett on the other end of the phone, who was even more on edge.

Heavens knew how much he wanted to hold his little girl and comfort her.

The little girl wanted him to take her ho, but currently, he really didn’t have ti to bring her back. Many things couldn’t be abandoned halfway, especially with things that were already progressing.

He didn’t want to explain it to avoid worrying his little girl. Now that she’s pregnant, he definitely couldn’t say anything.

All the matters could only be shared in detail after everything cos to an end, and then he would spend the rest of his life with her and their child.

This child’s arrival was unexpected, surprising, but more than anything, it was frightening.

It wasn’t about not being able to afford it; he was completely concerned about his little girl’s current health. The child was not even a month old, and it had already affected her appetite.

What would happen when she was further along?

He also worried about his little girl’s age, thinking she was too young to have a baby. Although she was already in her twenties, in his eyes, she was still a girl who needed pampering.

If having a child was a disaster for her, he absolutely wouldn’t want the child.

But he couldn’t speak about such matters plainly to the little girl. He could only discuss it with Luna afterward, since Luna was the one taking care of his little girl now.

"Norman Bennett~ would you co and take ho?"

Seeing his little girl cry like this, his heart couldn’t possibly soften any more.

He coaxed gently, "Girl, be good, don’t cry, hubby is on a business trip in the United States and can’t co back for now. Wait obediently for hubby to co back to pick you up, okay?"

Without ntioning a specific ti, Elliana felt even more aggrieved and stopped saying she wanted to go ho after sobbing twice.

No matter how upset she felt, she knew that Norman was working. She definitely couldn’t act unreasonably, even though she was already being a bit unreasonable now.

But at least she couldn’t go too far.

Now it didn’t seem that difficult anymore; it was just that the emotions had been too volatile earlier to keep in check. Now, at last, she felt a bit better.

So, she nodded and lightly agreed, "Okay, I’ll wait for you to finish your work and co to take ho."

Beside her, Luna was exasperated, questioning how easily she agreed. How easily comforted!

"Good girl," Norman said with so relief and tenderness at how obedient she was. Watching her outside, he said, "Hurry back, it’s very windy outside, don’t catch a cold."

At that mont, Raymond Wood’s voice ca from the other end of the phone, so Elliana knew Norman had things to attend to. So, she sniffed and said, "Bye-bye."

Then she extended her index finger to press the hang-up button.

After the beep, Luna stood up: "Let’s go ho, I’ll make so chicken soup for you."

With that, she helped her up, cautiously treating her as if she were a delicate egg.
