Ella was surprised when she felt Liam's fingers move. She confird it with her own two eyes. From his fingers, her gaze shifted to his face, anticipating to see him open his eyes. She held her breath as she watched Liam.

"Liam… can you hear ? Please wake up." Ella softly mumbled. She was silently praying that Liam would finally regain consciousness. Everyone was waiting for him.

One second…

Two seconds…

Three seconds…

The anticipation grew further as every second passed. Her grip on his hand tightened. Ella had forgotten to breathe. Then she gasped as soon as her blue eyes t Liam's erald eyes! He woke up!

"Liam!" Ella yelled out his na, her heart filled with so many emotions. She bent over, hugging Liam as she cried in his arms. "Liam! Liam!" She kept calling his na. She was speechless. She wanted to say sothing but all she could utter was his na.

Liam, on the other hand, blinked his eyes several tis, adjusting to the sudden change of light. His vision was a bit blurry at first. Then after a while, his vision was slowly becoming clear. He saw a glimpse of the new environnt. He wasn't familiar with his surroundings.

Liam looked down and noticed the lady crying in his chest. He didn't recognize her. But those blue eyes of hers reminded him of the woman he adored so much… Zhen-Zhen, the demon god's daughter.

"Zhen-Zhen… Tristan," he murmured. The last thing he could rember was that he was stabbed by Mheera as he tried to protect Zhen-Zhen. He was supposed to heal Tristan. But he collapsed in the middle of his treatnt.

Liam was about to sit up but he couldn't move his body. His entire body felt so numb. He was still weak. And he had been in a coma state for so long. He could only move his fingers.

"W-Where am I? Who… a-are you?" Liam asked her in his weak hoarse voice. He didn't understand why she was crying. He wanted to comfort her but he couldn't do anything aside from speaking to her in his weak state.

"Wait… I'll get you so water to drink." Ella quickly left the chambers to get water for Liam. She could tell that he was thirsty. His voice was also faint. She could barely hear his words.

When Ella ca back, two healers accompanied her. They also got the good news that Liam had woken up! They needed to check his condition too.

"Our Guardian Lord!"

"Guardian Leader!"

The two healers called Liam enthusiastically. They were so glad to see him awake. When Liam saw their faces he figured out that he was back in their world…. The world of the guardian warriors… the world where he originally ca from.

Liam racked his brain so hard. He didn't know how he ended up returning to their world. How about Zhen-Zhen? What happened to Tristan? He had so many questions in mind.

Liam was still lost in his train of thought when Ella approached him. She helped him sit up. She knew that Liam wanted to rise and get off the bed. But he was still weak.

"Drink this water first," Ella softly said, guiding the glass of water into his mouth. Liam took a sip as he obediently followed the Lady with blue eyes.

"Who brought here?" Liam asked them. His voice was clearer now as compared to before. "How long I have been sleeping? Where's Lillie? What happened to Tristan? I need to treat him."

Ella gently patted Liam's shoulder to reassure him. "Tristan is safe. Zhen-Zhen and Tristan are traveling around the world… In our human world."

"As for you… You have been in a coma for more than twenty years!" Ella added.

Liam had a baffled look on his face when he heard the words 'More than Twenty Years.'

'I slept that long?'

Then she held her hands and asked him, "Don't you recognize ?" Her voice drew his attention back to her once again.

Liam stared at her for a long mont, assessing her facial features. Those blue eyes seed familiar to him but he couldn't rember. Who was this young beautiful lady with blue eyes?

Liam shook his head and apologized to her. "I'm sorry. I can't rember. I can't recognize you…"

Ella didn't mind it at all. Even if he couldn't recognize her or rember her, the most important thing was Liam finally regained consciousness.

"It's okay. I'm already grateful to you… for waking up! I have been waiting for you. It's … Ella! The small kid you saved and protected before. Liam…" Ella sniffled, her tears threatening to fall once more.

She couldn't contain her joy. She was so glad that Cassie made the right decision of bringing Liam back into this world.

The healers were able to lift Mheera's curse and cure Liam.

"Ella?" Liam's eyes scanned her face. Now that she ntioned that na, Liam could see the resemblance between the young Ella and the grown-up Ella.

His lips curled up into a gentle smile. "You changed so much. You are not a kid anymore. You are a grown lady now."

Ella bobbed her head, feeling so proud. "Yes. I changed a lot. I'm a doctor now. I beca a doctor because of you. I want to treat you and take care of you."

Liam let out a soft chuckle. He felt relieved seeing Ella. "But wait… why are you here? How did you end up here?" Liam asked her with puzzlent. She was supposed to stay in the human world, not in this world.

"It's a long story. But to make it short… It was because of my Niece… Cassandra Davis… aka Cassie." Ella inford Liam.

"Cassie Davis? Your niece?" Liam was intrigued hearing that na.

"Yes. She is my Cousin Lillie's daughter… I an Zhen-Zhen's daughter. One of the Twins."

Liam was taken aback for a mont. He didn't expect Zhen-Zhen had twins. But he was happy for her. Since she was Zhen-Zhen's daughter, Liam presud that she also possessed a supernatural power just like her mother.

"Tell more. I want to hear more things about what happened while I was in a coma." Liam couldn't help but feel intrigued and curious.

The two healers could only listen to their conversations. They didn't dare interrupt the two. They just left the chambers after making sure that Liam was in a stable condition. They went out to share the good news with the other guardian warriors.
