Ji Yanlin was stunned, seemingly doubting if he had heard correctly. It took him two seconds to react, "When that group gets together, they dare to do anything chaotic and nonsensical. Let’s just forget about it."
With reservations, Ji Yanlin knew that group couldn’t be controlled when they went wild, and he didn’t want Ye Chaochao to associate with them.
"It’s okay, I’ve t Yangzi and the others plenty of tis, right?" Ye Chaochao said.
Ji Yanlin still felt surprised and looked at Ye Chaochao for a long while, "You really want to go?"
Ye Chaochao didn’t speak while looking at Ji Yanlin, but her intent was very clear.
Ji Yanlin nodded, "Alright, I’ll call Yangzi and ask."
As they walked outside, it didn’t take long for Ji Yanlin to get the details.
"Yangzi says they’re already on their way there, planning to stay over at the resort for a night and co back tomorrow afternoon."
"Are we going back today or tomorrow?" Ji Yanlin hung up and asked for Ye Chaochao’s opinion.
Ye Chaochao took only two seconds to think and decisively decided, "Then let’s go back tomorrow."
Ji Yanlin furrowed his brow slightly, puzzled by Ye Chaochao’s sudden idea.
Having decided to go to Xishan Resort, Ye Chaochao and Ji Yanlin went straight back, quickly packed so clothes to change into, and set off.
Ji Yanlin drove, while Ye Chaochao sat in the passenger seat. Ji Yanlin looked over at Ye Chaochao several tis, feeling that she seed to anticipate the trip quite a lot.
He still didn’t understand why Ye Chaochao suddenly wanted to hang out with Yangzi and the others.
It wasn’t that Yangzi and his friends were bad people; after all, he could say that he was the leader of their group.
But for Ye Chaochao, a girl who always followed the rules, it seed out of place for her to be in their disorganized group.
By the ti they arrived at the resort, it was already past five in the afternoon. Ji Yanlin parked the car, got out, and walked around to the back to fetch a travel bag from the trunk.
Ji Yanlin went over to Ye Chaochao, slung an arm around her shoulders with his free hand, and they walked inside.
They had just entered the lobby when they heard soone excitedly shouting, "Brother Ji!"
The voice ca from the side. Ji Yanlin and Ye Chaochao turned to look and saw an increasingly chubby Yangzi running over.
"Brother Ji! You finally rembered your brothers!" Yangzi, wailing, was about to hug Ji Yanlin.
Quick as a flash, Ji Yanlin extended a hand to push Yangzi away before he could hug him, "Don’t co over!"
Yangzi gave Ji Yanlin a foolish grin and then turned to look at Ye Chaochao, "Sister-in-law, hello!"
Ye Chaochao slightly opened her eyes. This wasn’t the first ti soone called her that, but every ti, she felt a bit awkward.
Ye Chaochao smiled awkwardly at Yangzi, "Long ti no see."
"Where are the others?" Ji Yanlin looked around; there was nobody else in the lobby at the mont.
Yangzi replied, "They’re upstairs playing pool. We’ve already reserved a room for Brother Ji."
Yangzi pulled out a room card from his pocket and handed it to Ji Yanlin with a sleazy smile.
As if to strike him, Ji Yanlin made a motion, and Yangzi quickly stepped back two paces, "You go ahead first, we’ll go up and drop off our things then co over."
"Alright, Brother Ji, we’ll be waiting for you guys!" Yangzi said as he ran off.
"Let’s go, we’ll head upstairs first," Ji Yanlin said to Ye Chaochao.
"Mhmm," Ye Chaochao nodded, and they headed toward the elevator.
