Yes, the feud between the little friends, Ye Chaochao and Ji Yanlin, was apparent from the first ti they t when Chaochao was one and a half months old and Ji Yanlin was two months old.

That day, when Song Ziyi took her son to visit her future in-laws at Bihai Bay, as soon as Song Ziyi passed Ji Yanlin to them, Ye Chaochao burst into tears.

Ye Chaochao’s wailing seed to frighten little Ji Yanlin, who also started to cry loudly.

The two infants cried together, each wail louder than the last.

No matter how Ye Wanwan tried to soothe her child, she couldn’t calm him, and neither could Shen Yi when he took over. Thinking that the babies might be influencing each other with their crying, Shen Yi took Chaochao up to the second floor.

Afterwards, Chaochao was soothed by Shen Yi, and downstairs, Ji Yanlin finally cald down and stopped crying as well.

Later, every ti they t, Ye Chaochao would invariably scream and cry, and Ji Yanlin would always join in with his own loud crying.

Since Chaochao and Ji Yanlin were only half a month apart in age, they learned to crawl and walk at about the sa ti.

And the very first ti little Ye Chaochao decided to go on a "crawl date," she headed straight for Ji Yanlin, reached out her chubby little hand, and grabbed his face.

Ji Yanlin cried his eyes out, while Ye Chaochao laughed beside him, grinning like a little fool.

Feeling guilty, Ye Wanwan apologized, but fortunately, Song Ziyi didn’t mind, saying boys are tough and asking what’s the big deal with a scratch?

Later, when Chaochao learned to walk, she would go over and push Ji Yanlin down.

As they got older, Ji Yanlin also learned to tease Chaochao, but since Chaochao was a girl and Song Ziyi was fond of her, Chaochao always seed to get preference from Song Ziyi.

Ji Yanlin couldn’t really bully Chaochao, but he always felt aggrieved deep down.

In short, there were too many reasons for their rivalry, too many to explain in detail.

Until now, Chaochao has started kindergarten, and so has Ji Yanlin. Song Ziyi originally wanted Ji Yanlin to attend the sa kindergarten as Chaochao.

When little Ji Yanlin heard he would be attending the sa kindergarten as Ye Chaochao, he cried and made a fuss at ho, declaring he didn’t want to go to kindergarten at all.

Song Ziyi said that not going to kindergarten ant he would be a little dummy, and little dummies couldn’t find jobs or make money later on.

Ji Yanlin then said it wouldn’t matter if he couldn’t make money because he had his grandparents to support him. He was adamant about not going to the sa kindergarten as Ye Chaochao.

Later, for so reason, Ji Yanlin ended up at a different kindergarten.

Now, Song Ziyi didn’t dare ntion bringing Chaochao back as a daughter-in-law anymore. She really felt the chances were slim; her son had no hope.

"I don’t care, just having a few hours of peace is enough for ! It’s much better than being constantly tornted by that little demon!" Song Ziyi continued.

Ye Wanwan was sowhat helpless and could only smile without saying anything more.

...

In the afternoon, Ye Wanwan went to the kindergarten to pick up Chaochao from school.

When the children ca out in a line, Ye Wanwan spotted Chaochao at once, and Chaochao also saw Ye Wanwan imdiately, her eyes instantly lighting up with joy.

"Mommy!" Ye Chaochao, amidst the crowd, bounced up and down, waving her hands.

Her voice was so loud that it seed to drown out the noise of the noisy kindergarten.

Ye Wanwan felt a bit embarrassed but still waved back in Chaochao’s direction.
