"Chaochao’s mom, it’s getting late. The kindergarten is about to close soon, so you should head back first," the headteacher said as she walked over.
Ye Wanwan glanced at the school gate and indeed, there weren’t many people left. She smiled awkwardly, "Although Chaochao seems clever and quirky, after all, it’s her first ti at kindergarten, and I’m worried she won’t adapt well."
To tell the truth, Chaochao, unlike Zhouzhou, had always been more of a worry from a young age, and worrying about her had beco a habit.
"It’s no use for you to wait here; you can watch the classroom surveillance from the mobile APP at ho, and it’s the sa," the headteacher said before pausing for a few seconds and continuing, "Besides, Chaochao seems braver than you think."
The headteacher held up her phone and passed it to Ye Wanwan. The screen showed the surveillance footage of their classroom.
Although the headteacher had been busy welcoming students at the school gate, she had still found ti to check on the classroom situation.
In the footage, Chaochao was standing next to a girl, seemingly wiping sothing on the face of the girl in front of her.
Upon close inspection, it beca clear that Chaochao was actually comforting the other girl.
Ye Wanwan was slightly surprised. Chaochao was a girl, and also a younger sister, who had always been the pampered one at ho, and even Zhouzhou was willing to dote on Chaochao.
Although Chaochao hadn’t been raised to be capricious or rude, she had never been asked to take care of other children’s emotions before.
Seeing Chaochao like this at the mont, Ye Wanwan was sowhat taken aback.
"So, you can rest assured. I believe Chaochao can adapt well to the new life in kindergarten," the headteacher said.
Ye Wanwan smiled and nodded at last, "Thank you, teacher."
Afterward, Ye Wanwan went ho, watching the surveillance video on her way, until Shen Yi ssaged her, and she told Shen Yi everything that happened.
Shen Yi didn’t say much, but the smile on his face was unmistakable, clearly very pleased with the news.
On the other hand, Song Ziyi’s son, Ji Yanlin, also started kindergarten today.
By the ti it was around nine o’clock, presumably having finished her tasks, Song Ziyi started sending ssages non-stop in the group chat, venting her frustration.
"My God, I finally got this little king of chaos into kindergarten!"
"Watching him walk into the school gate, I felt like I was reborn!"
"Why doesn’t the kindergarten have boarding? I wish he could go ho once every year and a half, as long as I know he’s still alive! "
"Sigh, imagination is a beautiful thing, but tonight, I still have to see that little devil!"
Ye Wanwan saw Song Ziyi venting in the group chat non-stop, seemingly harboring a long-standing resentnt, unable to stop herself.
Ye Wanwan, caught between laughter and tears, responded to Song Ziyi in the chat, "Actually, Qiuqiu is pretty good, just a bit too lively, but he’s certainly not a wild brat."
Song Ziyi imdiately replied to Ye Wanwan with a voice ssage, her voice loud, "I can’t stand him as it is! If he dares to be naughty, I’ll break his legs myself!"
"That won’t do; I don’t want a son-in-law with broken legs!" Ye Wanwan joked.
"It looks like we’re destined not to be in-laws in this lifeti!" Song Ziyi said, her tone filled with despair.
