When Ye Wanwan returned, Zhouzhou was still sound asleep, showing no discomfort from her absence.
The VIP ward included a private bathroom, where Ye Wanwan took a shower and quickly got ready before returning to bed to cuddle with Zhouzhou.

The next day.
When Zhouzhou woke up, Ye Wanwan sensed it and woke up as well. Perhaps due to the days she’d spent unconscious, she didn’t feel very sleepy.
Zhouzhou imdiately saw his mother upon waking. Though still sowhat groggy, he quickly beca alert and gave Ye Wanwan a silly smile.
Perhaps it was because he hadn’t seen his mother for several days that waking up to her now filled Zhouzhou with exceptional joy.
"Mommy," Zhouzhou called out softly, reaching out to hug Ye Wanwan.
"Good morning, Zhouzhou," Ye Wanwan replied, embracing him. They cuddled for a while before she took him to wash up.
No sooner had they finished washing up than soone knocked on the door. Ye Wanwan called out and turned to see Lin Xu entering, holding a thermal bag, clearly having brought breakfast.
"You’re up early. How do you feel? Any discomfort?" Lin Xu asked softly, as if speaking louder might affect Ye Wanwan in so way.
"I’m fine now, don’t worry," Ye Wanwan said.
Lin Xu nodded, "Let’s have breakfast first."
Ye Wanwan sat down with Zhouzhou, "Have you eaten?"
"Yes," Lin Xu replied, as she helped to unpack the al boxes, then continued, "I’ll feed Zhouzhou, you just eat."
"Okay." Ye Wanwan was about to eat, then looked up at Lin Xu as sothing ca to mind.
Seeing Ye Wanwan’s hesitant expression, Lin Xu guessed her concerns and smiled wryly, "Don’t worry, your dad is in the next room. We won’t forget about that boy!"
At Lin Xu’s words, Ye Wanwan smiled bashfully, but also felt reassured and began to eat her breakfast.
While Ye Wanwan was having breakfast, Shen Yun’an also ca from the adjacent ward.
"How is Shen Yi doing?" Lin Xu looked up at Shen Yun’an as he arrived.
"He broke his fever yesterday afternoon, and he’s almost fully recovered today. The doctor said he can be discharged," Shen Yun’an said.
Shen Yun’an had co here from staring at his son in the next ward, which had been sowhat awkward.
"That’s good," Lin Xu said nonchalantly, but it was clear she too was relieved; they had all had a tough few days.
Not long after, Su Xiangyi and Ye Zhenhua also arrived at the hospital. They asked briefly about Shen Yi’s condition and Ye Wanwan’s well-being.
Of primary concern was Ye Wanwan’s issue, as the reason for her sudden fainting spell remained a mystery until now.
The elders were all worried but had no choice, as the hospital had no reasonable explanation.
And Ye Wanwan herself was even less able to explain to them what was going on.
In the end, it was Shen Yi who made the decision, "If Wanwan wants to be discharged, then let her be discharged. The hospital has no answers now, and she can’t stay here indefinitely."
