Ye Wanwan flipped over, sat up in bed, and connected the video call quickly, then looked at Shen Yi on her phone with a sowhat unnatural expression.
"Why haven’t you rested yet?" Shen Yi held the phone in one hand and loosened his tie with the other, looking at Ye Wanwan through the video and asked.
"I’m about to sleep." Ye Wanwan said. In truth, she hadn’t been able to sleep at all and had been waiting for a ssage from Shen Yi.
Shen Yi set the phone on the table, found a spot to prop it up, and began to undress.
Neither of them spoke, and when the silence settled, there was an inexplicable mont of subtlety in the atmosphere.
Ye Wanwan watched Shen Yi, hesitating for a long while before asking, "Um, did you co back yesterday because of our wedding anniversary?"
Shen Yi paused, glanced at Ye Wanwan on his phone, but didn’t rush to say anything. He took off his jacket and placed it on the back of a chair, then sat down on it.
"So, you really ca back yesterday just for our wedding anniversary!" Ye Wanwan, seeing Shen Yi’s expression, felt like she roughly had her answer already.
Shen Yi was silent for a few seconds before he slowly said, "No, I just happened to co back to see you."
Ye Wanwan frowned and sighed with a tint of self-reproach, "I’m sorry, I thought our wedding anniversary should be the day we held our ceremony, so I completely forgot that yesterday was the day we got our marriage certificate."
"I didn’t expect you to co back yesterday, so that’s why I held a party at ho." If she had known Shen Yi was coming back, she definitely wouldn’t have held any pool party at ho yesterday.
Looking at Ye Wanwan’s pitiable appearance, Shen Yi opened his mouth as if wanting to say sothing, but rembering how Ye Wanwan had spent so much ti with him last ti, he hesitated.
In the end, he coughed slightly, didn’t explain anything, and only after Ye Wanwan finished speaking did Shen Yi offer an indifferent word of comfort, "It doesn’t matter, any anniversary is just an excuse after all, I just wanted to see you."

But it seed she had restrained herself too much and ended up neglecting Shen Yi to so degree.
"Alright, it’s no big deal. It’s late, get so rest," Shen Yi comforted.
Ye Wanwan just pursed her lips and silently watched Shen Yi on the video.
Seeing she wasn’t speaking, Shen Yi chuckled softly and gently said, "Alright, get so rest, goodnight."
"Goodnight." Ye Wanwan reluctantly said, and this ti she didn’t hang up the video call herself, but waited until Shen Yi hung up.
Once the video ended, Ye Wanwan tossed her phone aside and rolled around wildly on the bed, even letting out uncontrollable screams. If not for the good sound insulation in the room, probably everyone outside would have been startled.
At this mont, Ye Wanwan was truly frustrated, exceptionally frustrated!

She didn’t even know what she should do!
After being frantic for a while, Ye Wanwan still didn’t know what to do, but at this point, she didn’t want to think about it anymore and just wanted to lie down without a care.
