Zhang Yang had already co over by then; upon hearing that na, he asked subconsciously, "What about Fang Xian?"
By the sounds of it, it seed he knew this person. Assistant Chen turned to look at Zhang Yang.
Similarly, Shen Yi also turned his head to look over.
Zhang Yang, puzzled by their stares, turned and scanned the crowd, quickly locating his target. Zhang Yang waved his hand and called out, "Fang Xian, co over here."
After that, Shen Yi noticed a woman dressed in a beige business suit walking over to them—a woman that exuded professionalism.
Standing before them, the woman nodded slightly towards him and respectfully greeted, "President Shen."
Shen Yi’s brows creased slightly as the inexplicable feeling of aversion growing within him worsened; it seed as if even another glance at the woman before him would irritate him imnsely.
Zhang Yang, oblivious to it all, simply asked from the side, "President Shen, do you need sothing from Fang Xian?"
Because of Zhang Yang’s words, Fang Xian’s gaze fell upon Shen Yi again. She watched him silently, waiting for him to speak.
The people in the eting room, who were about to disperse, all halted in place, observing the scene at the doorway.
And after a few seconds of silence, Shen Yi rely said in a deep voice, "Nothing."
Then Shen Yi turned and stepped out of the eting room, with Assistant Chen, still sowhat confused, hurrying after him.
Those left inside the eting room were equally baffled, especially Zhang Yang, who scratched his head. Did President Shen know this Fang Xian who worked under him?
But the situation didn’t seem like it.
Returning to his office, Shen Yi still had a somber expression. The following Assistant Chen asked cautiously, "President Shen, is there so issue with that Fang Xian?"
He didn’t know that Shen Yi was also pondering this question. Having battled in the business world for many years, seeing people of all types, so just imdiately strike you as no good.
But this Fang Xian...
He felt anxious just hearing her na, followed by an uncontrollable repulsion. He had never felt such a deep-seated dislike for soone.
Not even for He Qingyun!
At least with He Qingyun, there had been so intersections, but with this Fang Xian, there had been no connection whatsoever—not even her na had been heard before.
Why would he dislike soone whose na he hadn’t even heard before?
Shen Yi couldn’t figure it out, but he didn’t have the ti to ponder it any further. He shook his head and extended his hand toward Assistant Chen.
Assistant Chen quickly handed over the folder he held.
Then Assistant Chen began to report on work matters swiftly: "President Shen, at one in the afternoon, we need to visit the construction site for an inspection. At three, we have an appointnt with Mr. Dewen, and we’ll likely dine together afterwards. Should I book a restaurant now?"
"Mhm, book the restaurant first," Shen Yi nodded as he opened the file.
"Understood." Assistant Chen said and then quietly exited the office.
Shen Yi was indeed very busy, so busy that he barely had ti to eat; even his lunch was packed and delivered to his office by Assistant Chen.
In such a flurry of work, the woman nad Fang Xian was quickly forgotten.
When Shen Yi finally finished his day and returned to his apartnt, it was already eleven at night, and there was a full six-hour ti difference between him and Ye Wanwan.
