October remained silent within Lexus’ warm embrace. She felt at peace and calm. It was as if her heart and sould were already filled to the brim by his presence.
She felt strong.
However, the peacefulness that the two shared in the room was shattered by the heavy footsteps and angry shout that ca from a distance.
"You ungrateful child! First, you humiliated . And now you act that I am not your father even so far as not calling "Dad" or "Father!" You are really getting more and more unrestrained and audacious." Peizhi shouted as his face contorted in clear anger. He was gnashing his teeth at October.
But as soon as he saw October’s face that was as still as the rippleless lake, calm and cold indifference, his anger flew his top. He was steaming in anger as his eyes turned red and veins pulsated in his head.
’The more I see that face with that kind of calmness, I always get myself reminded of that woman! Why is she this cold even toward , her own father?’
Peizhi glared down at October with his finger pointing at her, "How dare you brazenly walk around my mansion? How dare you ignore ? You are disrepecting , your father."
’This f*cking bastard! You’ve clearly disowned your daughter and even tossed her out of this sh*tty mansion with only things that was in her person just for that ugly thing he called "wife" that was of the sa age as his daughter?’ Lexus was so angry that he coldly laughed. It was filled with sharp thorns dipped in poison, with just one prick was enough to kill them.
The people who heard this had their breathing constricted and the hairs on their skin stood on end. Their whole body was sweating profusely.
"Yo--you! Why are you laughing?!" Peizhi’s face turned blue then white. He felt fear. Just that one laugh was enough to make him shiver uncontrollably. This fact was sothing he does not want to accept. He could not accept that soone as young as Lexus could make him feel such heavy pressure.
His pride does not allow it. Thus, despite his body shivering in fear, he still faced Lexus head on.
"I am your father-in-law and yet you had yet to show your respect to ." Peizhi felt pleased at himself as he did not stutter for a bit, not showing that he was scared. But now that that was said, he regained a little bit of confidence in himself and this showed on his smug smile.
Lexus snorted derisively at Peizhi. He felt that just seeing Peizhi wsa very offensive to his eyes. No, more like it was too dirty. It was more dirty and gross that his sh*t.
"I thought that I was the most shaless person in the world and yet here it is, I have t the most shaless of all the shaless people in the world. What I way to open my eyes." Lexus said this with a venomous smile on his devilishly handso face.
With a swift movent of his hand, he cupped October’s face with both hands and turned to look at him. With a serious look on his face, he said clearly and coldly for others to hear it with clarity word for word.
"Wifey, don’t look at that old man who shassly claid that he was your father. Truly shaless. How can he father soone as brilliant and beautiful and perfect as you? He’s shaless, right? Right." He sighed in helplessness, showing an exaggerated exasperation on his handso face.
It was extrely comical that October’s eyes that was calm rippled and turned bright at this sight before her. Then, out of the blue, a sweet smile graced her pretty face making her glow and radiant as the sun.
It was breathtaking that the people who saw it gotsrized. Even Lexus was not spared despite having seen her smile countless tis. What can he say? He was crazily in love with her.
October was too absorbed in looking at the cute Lexus before her. She did not care about Peizhi and did not bother to look at him more than a second.
There was really no need for Lexus to say what he had just said but she also was not intending to stop what he was doing.
"Yes, hubby. I’ll do as just that."
The people who was there, naly: Peizhi, Fu Yung, Butler Liu, and two maids, was dumbfounded. They were not expecting to see two people not caring about their envirornnt as they went on getting intimate with each other.
Fu Yung gritted her teeth, never caring about the pain she was feeling from her grinding. Her eyes shoot daggers on October and her face contorted in hate and jealousy. She was fortunate for this because Peizhi did not see her twisted face as she was standing behind Peizhi.
Yes. Talk about lucky which was really frustrating.
She could not let those two continue getting all lovey-dovey. It was such a sting to her eyes knowing that October was really happy, even more than her.
’No. I can’t let her be happy like this. I have to. If not, I won’t be happy.’ She gritted her teeth even more as she viciously glared at October.
"Lan’er, how can you act like this? I know you hate and I’m really sorry. I just...fell in love with Peizhi. And he to . Despite the difference in our age, that did not matter because we fought for our love. This is true love. And yet, you hated that you had...bullied . But that was okay. I understand that." Fu Yung clutched onto Peizhi’s arms, latching onto him without planning on letting go. She pitifully looked at October with her eyes misty with tears. Her cheeks flushed and her nose reddened.
Fu Yung was trembling as she silently cried and pleaded for October to not hate her. It was such a heart-wrenching love story that broke all boundaries. It was a story good enough to be written in a novel, with the daughter, October, as the villainess.
"I...I can understand if you won’t accept as your stepmother. But husband...but Peizhi is your father. He is your biological father. He needs your respect and yet you don’t give him that. You can treat as if I’m not here, like air; but Peizhi is your father." Fu Yung was now bawling in tears.
Peizhi felt his heart was torn into pieces. At every tear that dropped from Fu Yung’s face, he felt like his heart was stabbed by needles.
He imdiately pulled her into his embrace and soothed her head, trying to comfort her, give her the security she needed, let her know that he was there for her.
"No. It’s not your fault. I love you so much that I just have to make you mine. It was my blessing to have to co to know that you had also fallen for . That’s just how it is." Peizhi tightened his hold of his wife who was trembling as she cried, trying to alleviate the grief in her.
