ASHER

Reed and I got to the location where all the students once gathered and I was glad everyone had gone away and soone was kind enough to neatly fold both our clothes.

Reed was quiet all through and I watched as he morphed back to his human form, I could see the marks of my fingers on his back, a reminder of what we had both done a few minutes ago, and the awkward silence that followed after.

I quickly morphed back to my human form and the sight of my body totally wrecked . My skin was covered in marks, my body was still sore and I could still feel Reed inside even though he’d pulled away hours ago.

Reed stood a few feet away, pulling on his jeans, his back still turned to . Muscles shifting under skin that was covered in scratches from my nails, clear evidence of what we’d done, evidence of what he’d made do. My face burned with sha at the mory. The way I’d submitted, the way my body had responded and the way I’d—

I couldn’t even finish the thought when Reed’s voice snapped out of my thoughts.

"We need to talk," Reed said without turning around. I nodded, pulling my knees to my chest and stayed silent. Reed finally turned to face , his expression was unreadable. "Like I said earlier on before things escalated between us, you know by now that the other wolves know there’s an Oga at this Academy now. They slled you, so of them saw your wolf form and they saw you up close."

My stomach dropped. "I know but it was inevitable and you know that."

"I do, and that’s on you. That’s for lying even when I knew you were an oga." Reed’s jaw clenched. "But that aside, I know by the ti we get back to campus, the entire Academy will be talking about it. Everyone will be trying to figure out which student is the Oga and they will surround to find out who is the oga I had claid as mine.."

"They don’t know it’s ," I said quietly. "They couldn’t have seen my face in wolf form. I shifted away from the crowd—"

"They’ll figure it out eventually." Reed’s voice was flat. "Soone will put the pieces together. Notice you were missing during the run. Notice the timing. Notice that I fought soone for you and they would notice the marks on you, and the bond mark—"

"Then I’ll leave." The words ca out before I could stop them. "I’ll pack my things and leave before anyone figures it out."

"No." Reed said, the command in Reed’s voice made flinch. "You’re not leaving," Reed continued, his eyes were hard and cold. "You’re staying right here at this Academy and you are staying with where I can keep an eye on you."

"Why?" I demanded. "Why do you care if I stay or go? You got what you wanted. You claid . You made —" I stopped and swallowed hard against the bile rising in my throat.

Reed took a step closer. "You’re mine now, Asher. The mate bond ford the second I knotted you and bit you. You felt it and don’t pretend you didn’t. I am tired of all your pretence and lies."

I had felt it. A connection snapping into place. Sothing primal and terrifying and overwhelming. Sothing I wanted to deny with every fiber of my being.

"That doesn’t an anything," I said.

"It ans everything." Reed crouched down in front of . "You’re my mate, my Oga, and I’m not letting you run away."

"Then what do you want from ?" I asked him and Reed’s expression shifted. Sothing calculating entered his eyes.

"I’ll keep your secret." Reed said and I went very still. "The other students don’t know it’s you," Reed continued. "And I won’t tell them. Your secret is safe with ."

Hope flickered in my chest. "You’ll keep it secret?"

"Yes but on one condition." Reed said and the hope died. The hope of thinking that for once Reed would finally be able to do sothing for and would change towards but I am always wrong.

Reed’s hand ca to my chin, and forced to look at him. "You completely belong to now and you’re going to prove it."

"What the fuck does that an?" I asked, my curiosity piqued.

"It ans you’ll be my plaything." Reed’s voice was soft and dangerous. "Whenever I want you, wherever I want you, however I want you, you’ll submit. No questions, no argunts and no fighting."

My whole body went cold. "You can’t be serious."

"I’m completely serious." Reed’s thumb brushed across my lower lip. "You’ll attend to my needs whenever I demand it. In private, in public if I want. You’ll submit to and show everyone at that Academy that you’re mine."

"That’s—you’re asking to be your—"

"My what?" Reed’s eyes were hard. "My property? My toy? My obedient little Oga who spreads his legs whenever I snap my fingers?"

Tears burned in my eyes. "I won’t do it."

"Yes, you will." Reed released my chin and stood up. "Because if you don’t, I’ll tell everyone what you are. I’ll expose you in front of the entire Academy. Every student, every professor, the Dean and then everyone will know that Asher Graham is an Oga who’s been lying about his designation since day one."

"You wouldn’t—"

"Try ." Reed’s expression was cold and empty. "Fight , and I’ll tell everyone what you are. Refuse , and I’ll make sure your secret is broadcast across campus by lunch. Defy in any way, and I’ll destroy everything you’ve worked for."

I stared up at him. At this Alpha who’d just claid . Who’d made submit in ways that made my stomach turn. Who was now blackmailing into becoming his personal sex slave.

"Why?" My voice broke. "Why are you doing this to ?"

"Because I can." Reed pulled on his shirt. "Because you’re mine, because I’m tired of you fighting and because—" He stopped and his jaw clenched.

"Because what?" I whispered.

Reed looked at for a long mont. Sothing flickered in his eyes. Sothing that looked almost like conflict then it was gone.

"Because you need to learn your place," Reed said coldly. "You’re an Oga. My Oga and it’s ti you started acting like it."

He turned and started walking back toward campus.

"We head back in ten minutes," Reed called over his shoulder. "Get dressed. Fix yourself up and rember—you’re mine now. Fight , and I’ll tell everyone what you are."

Then he disappeared into the trees. I sat there in the clearing, my body aching, my mind reeling, tears streaming down my face.

Reed was blackmailing , using my secret against . Forcing into submission and I had no choice but to obey because if I didn’t, I’d lose everything, my scholarship, my future and my life. I was trapped with an Alpha who’d just turned into his personal plaything.
