Chapter 829: Chapter 489: Miracle eting
“Colin, do you know the ‘Miracle Master’?”
Batalov sat in the most central seat at the front of the palace, gazed at Colin, and asked slowly.
“I don’t know.” In the middle of the palace, Colin shook his head in confusion.
The term Miracle Master was one he was hearing for the first ti.
However, the expression on the faces of Mill and others standing nearby changed slightly upon hearing this word.
Batalov smiled, did not explain, but looked at him along with the other Supre Counciln and continued asking:
“You already possess the power of the Fourth Rank, but you have not advanced to a Fourth Rank Wizard, correct?”
Colin paused slightly, then nodded frankly after a brief silence.
He had actually anticipated that such a day would co, realizing that the path he was on was ultimately different from that of traditional wizards.
From the beginning, he hadn’t thought he could hide this obvious uniqueness from the Supre Counciln.
But to hesitate and deliberately suppress his strength because of this would clearly be an even more foolish choice.
In fact, Colin had been prepared from the start to face the Supre Counciln.
He slightly raised his head and observed the reaction of the Supre Counciln before him.
After he nodded, the faces of these Supre Counciln showed various expressions, with surprise, joy, and reflection… but none of the greed Colin had imagined.
Colin paused slightly, feeling inexplicably relaxed.
He had already prepared for the worst—that the Supre Counciln would take action to make him hand over the new cultivation thod.
And he was ready to defend his rights as best as he could in that scenario.
But for now, it seed unnecessary… the attitude of the Supre Counciln was much better than he had imagined.
There was a mont of silence in the palace.
Sitting in the middle, Batalov gently asked, “Can you show us this power?”
Colin nodded and raised his right arm.
Crimson energy gathered like a trickling stream into his palm, forming a cluster of crimson-golden light.
Whish.
Colin gently tossed it, sending it in front of Batalov and the others.
Batalov eagerly caught the crimson light cluster.
Seemingly thinking of sothing, he opened his palm and divided the table tennis-sized light cluster into six parts, handing one to each of the six other Supre Counciln.
“This power…” The seven Supre Counciln focused intently on examining the unique energy clusters in their hands.
In the center of the palace.
Colin withdrew his gaze, still reflecting on the reaction of the Supre Counciln.
“One must not have the intention to harm others, but one must be wary of others.”
This is an old saying passed down through the ages and has always been regarded as a guiding principle by Colin.
But no guiding principle is an absolute truth… this is what makes life interesting.
Being wary of others is essential, but sotis, giving a little more trust to others might not be a bad thing.
As the Supre Counciln observed the crimson energy, Colin approached Mill and the other three.
The reason it was four is because Ryden was also there—Ryden had just co to the Palace in the Clouds with Colin.
Colin looked at Ryden, then at Mill and the others, and curiously asked, “Why are you all here?”
Ryden first scratched his head a bit awkwardly, paused, and said:
“Sorry, Colin.”
“What’s wrong?” Colin paused slightly.
Ryden, a bit embarrassed, said, “After the transmission gate collapsed, I saw through the golden solid wall that you managed to defeat the Lords of Gold and Molten Rock and survived but were trapped in the sea domain.”
“I wanted to report this to the Supre Counciln to see if they could rescue you, so I returned to the Siya Continent as fast as I could.”
“And then early this morning, I successfully t with the Supre Counciln… but unexpectedly, you already returned to the Siya Continent.”
Ryden paused, “I’m sorry, to gain the Supre Counciln’s attention, I exaggerated a bit about your breakthrough to the Fourth Rank and the ease with which you defeated the real avatar of the Divine.”
In Ryden’s view, this was Colin’s own secret. For whatever reason, it was always bad for him to casually tell others.
“It’s fine, decisions must be made in exigent circumstances, and I never asked you to keep it a secret.” Colin shook his head, finally understanding why the Supre Counciln found him so quickly.
He turned to Mill and asked, “What about you all, why are you here?”
Mill paused and explained, “After you left, the Nolan continued towards the Graham front line, and then we encountered the wizard troops surrounding the Extre North.”
“So, together with the Nolan, Booster, and Gard, we changed course to the nearest Wizard City with a transmission array, and through it, we eventually reached Huailan City, where we contacted the Supre Counciln through the Supre Council Hall there.”
“Afterward, the wizards from the Nolan Continent chose to go to the Extre North to participate in the war for military rit.”
With that, Mill paused slightly, sowhat apologetically saying:
“And we were left behind by the Supre Counciln… for information about you.”
“Sorry, I told the Supre Counciln basically everything I knew.”
Colin nodded, not saying much.
Like with Ryden, he never asked Mill and the others to keep it a secret for him, and Mill was not obliged to hide these things for him.
At the seats in front of the palace, the examination of the crimson energy by the Supre Counciln was also coming to an end, and they were engaging in discussions with each other.
“This is indeed not magic power… nor is it divine power.”
“But its quality is far superior to magic power and, compared to divine power, is not inferior at all!”
“No wonder the world’s will is so fond of him.”
Batalov said with a sigh, feeling a mix of emotions in his heart.
Looking at the Supre Councilman next to him, he transmitted, “Gentlen, as I previously speculated, Colin has indeed opened up a new path outside of wizardry.
It’s ti for us to make a decision regarding my previous proposal.”
“I agree with Batalov’s proposal,” Ludas first echoed in agreent.
“I agree too.”
As Batalov expected, after seeing the crimson energy, all Supre Counciln had no further differences and agreed unanimously.
Batalov nodded gently, turned to Colin, and continued to ask calmly:
“Colin, would you mind telling us how you researched this power?”
“I don’t mind.” Colin gently shook his head.
After successfully breaking through to the Fourth Rank this ti, he had planned to reveal his cultivation system on the Siya Continent.
Weaklings would hoard their possessions.
Even if he unreservedly taught the thod of knight cultivation to others, Colin was confident he would continue to stand at the highest peak!
“To talk about the source of this power, I’m afraid we would have to go back to when I was just a First Rank Wizard…” Colin began narrating calmly.
…
“The Knight’s Path… combining the physical and the soul.”
After a long while, the Supre Counciln finally sighed.
All along, in the Yanan World, all wizards believed that the human body had a limit.
And that limit was the Great Knight.
Even though countless wizards tried to advance beyond the stage of the Great Knight, no one succeeded, always ending without any results.
This was a well-known dead-end, yet Colin had forcibly opened a new stage!
And not just one stage!
Not only a First Rank Knight, but also Second Rank, even Third Rank!
More importantly, in the end, the Knight’s Path and the original wizard path fused together to form a new power far surpassing the previous!
This talent… is already no less than Master Yanan who originally pioneered the Wizard’s Path!
Batalov looked at Colin, his eyes filled with undisguised admiration.
“Colin Leonard.” He paused and formally said, “Do you rember the first question I asked you?”
“I rember… you asked if I knew about the Miracle Master.” Colin nodded, “I do not know.”
“But you must have heard of Miracle City.” Batalov smiled.
“The so-called Miracle Master is the ruler of Miracle City.”
Batalov paused here. In the palace, all the Supre Counciln focused their gaze on Colin.
After a brief silence, they asked Colin in unison:
“Would you like to beco the Miracle Master, Colin?”
…
The war was over.
A little over a week after the golden solid wall successfully unfolded, the Siya Continent welcod much-missed peace.
A joyful atmosphere enveloped this continent.
In any case, the shadow of war at least temporarily dissipated from this land.
For ordinary people, especially those inland, the world did not change much.
But for the wizards, this period brought earth-shaking changes.
The war in the sea domain, the fall of Graham City, the chain reactions these events caused all still need ti to resolve.
However, before that, they, or at least all the wizards who participated in the war, were looking forward to the sa grand gathering—the Miracle Assembly.
