His heart surged, but on the surface, he showed not the slightest ripple and took the crystal with a calm expression.

"The training tonight is really difficult," Ryden said as he received the crystal and shook his head, walking towards him. "If I hadn’t had so understanding of the Transmission Array beforehand, I would have had an even tougher ti."

Colin was about to reply when Yeats, approaching them, interjected, "I didn’t expect even Lord Ryden to find it difficult, so now I feel relieved."

"I guess nobody feels it’s easy tonight, right, Colin?" Ryden turned to look at Colin and then addressed him.

"...I’m afraid so," Colin responded indifferently and led the way outside.

All he wanted now was to find a suitable place to start using the library crystal imdiately!

"Indeed, tonight’s knowledge involved the Fourth Rank, and all the wizards present are only Third Rank, so it is certainly difficult to learn," Yeats also chid in, naturally falling into step beside them.

"I have so understanding of the Transmission Array as well, but the knowledge we learned tonight was quite eye-opening... So of it doesn’t even seem to be related to the Transmission Array at all. I suspect this could be the latest research from the wizard side," Ryden mused and added.

Colin nodded in agreent, saying, "We have insufficient information for now... We probably won’t know the true purpose of our learning until the training is completely over."

To be honest, the knowledge learned tonight wasn’t particularly difficult to understand for him.

The Talent of the Superbrain seed inconspicuous, but in reality, it had brought his learning ability to a terrifying level.

If not for this, he wouldn’t have been able to co this far by himself.

Even without Mill’s explanation, he would be able to gradually comprehend the knowledge learned tonight on his own, not to ntion having such an excellent teacher as Mill to explain in detail.

After the training was over, Colin completely understood the content learned that day.

However, even so, he couldn’t imdiately see how the knowledge gained tonight would help with future actions.

Still not enough information... Perhaps the doubts would be dispelled after Mill revealed the specific details of the plan.

"Lord Colin makes a good point, we’ll naturally understand the use of tonight’s lessons when it cos ti to execute the task," Yeats said in agreent, pausing before asking,

"I wonder which rooms you both plan to choose for your stay; we could live together and look out for one another."

Colin glanced at Ryden, who indifferently nodded.

Colin also nodded indifferently and said to Yeats, "I’m fine with anything."

Although there were evaluations, they didn’t share a strong competitive relationship with each other.

After all, this mission was to carry out a dangerous task, not simply to secure so reward.

For Colin himself, he was still undecided about whether to continue participating in this mission.

If after the training, the knowledge of divine research he learned would provide a way forward, then obviously there was no need to engage in this task.

Otherwise, in order to acquire Divine Blood, or rather, to research the divine, he was likely to choose to continue participating in the mission.

Hearing their affirmative answers, Yeats smiled and said after a pause,

"I co from the Sea Domain, and I’m not familiar with any of the wizards here, except that I am sowhat acquainted with Lord Ryden, and now I also have Lord Colin— I’ve heard early on about your extraordinary experiences. Please take good care of in the future."

Ryden waved it off, "Since we’re all wizards, that makes us natural allies; there’s no need for formalities."

"They are just empty honors," Colin politely returned.

Tap tap tap—

A series of footsteps ca from behind.

Colin turned back to look; it was the sowhat cold Witch Jacqueline.

Seeing the three of them, Jacqueline paused in her step, nodded silently in greeting, and then hurried on.

She likely wanted to go back and continue studying the knowledge from today’s training.

Colin speculated privately, noticing that among the crowd after the training, Jacqueline’s frown was almost the deepest...

"That witch seems rather unapproachable," Yeats comnted with a smile as he watched Jacqueline’s retreating figure.

"I know her; she’s from the rlin School," Ryden said, sighing inexplicably. "She also had a twin sister who just perished in a recent battle with the divine..."

Upon hearing this, a complex expression flashed across Yeats’ stern face, and he sighed,

"War is always like this..."

"Sorry, I forgot that you had a similar experience," Ryden said with a touch of regret.

"It’s okay," Yeats shook his head, "Reminding of those experiences only gives more motivation to move forward—it’s actually a good thing."

Ryden fell silent, and Colin naturally didn’t chi in.

The three of them walked the remaining distance to the castle’s guest rooms in silence.

At this mont, Colin suddenly wondered, where had Lance and O’Keefe gone?

Although they were the first to leave the basent, they didn’t move quickly and rather seed to be taking a walk.

That’s also why Jacqueline was able to catch up to them so quickly.

As Colin thought this, footsteps suddenly ca from behind.

He turned to look, and it was Lance.
